I've never seen a ramen shop where the menu only consists of two types of ramen -- shoyu or miso (I read some of the other entries and they said they now have three but I was just there last week and only saw two). Besides the ramen, they do have gyoza. They give you a pretty sizable amount of noodles and their dashi is tasty.

boo. emily got to this before me.
I give it four stars in comparison to the other ramen places I've been around gardena/torrance - and there are a lot. The ramen here isn't exceptional but it's simple and fast. They have miso, shoyu, and hiyashi chuuka - the other menu item is gyoza. I've only tried the first two and gyoza and they were okay but the thing I like about this place is that it is relatively quick and simple. The kind of place where if I wanted ramen but was on a short lunch break -- caution for that line cause I usually come after the lunch hour. It's cheaper than hakata ramen or ebisu ramen or santouka, etc but best of all there's no waitlist at all hours of the day, which hakata is known for.

Gardena shoyu ramen is a complex concoction derived from torigara (chicken bones), genkotsu (pork knuckle), and niboshi (dried sardines). It is slightly opaque and just a tad too salty, but flavorful in impossibly distinctive ways. It is sweet yet savory. Rich yet light.

I went here with a couple of friends and was happy with what I got. Although there are only three types of ramen, it doesn't bother me. The miso ramen was pretty good and I also ordered gyoza, which wasn't the best, but it was still good. The lady who served us was extremely nice and always made sure our waters were filled.

They just give you noodles and soup. They have only 3 different types of soups and you barely get anything in the bowls. Although the price is cheap, I am never going back!
