I have a 16 month old and have spent about $5,000.00 here in the last 2 years. I will choose to pay someone else's wages from now on. On my last trip to Baby's R Us, I found a footie sleeper off the Clearance rack, marked down. The rack was full of them and they all had the discounted stickers on them. At the check out I watched as the items where scanned to make sure I was getting what was on the price tag. (Especially since Walmart was recently sued for charging people for more than the ticketed price) The sleeper scanned for more than the amount on the tag, When I questioned the cashier, he told me the price tag had the wrong tag on it. I informed him that he better clear the whole rack of sleepers then because they where all mispriced. He ignored me and asked if I wanted to purchase the item. I informed him not at the higher price I wanted it for the amount on the tag, he again told me it was mispriced, I said no I would only take my other purchases. The customer behind me was staring at me as if I had done something wrong. This cashier lacked in training and obviously did not know how to handle customer service. He should have honored the price or called the manager over. I was too dissapointed and upset to call the manager myself, I had my four children with me, the man behind me looked annoyed and there was no other cashier open. The disrespect from the cashier was extremely annoying. I work with customers daily I never argue, the customer is always right, even if they are wrong.
