Malabar resturaunt in natomas, Ca
Boy was this resturauant a let down. It really is more of a bar. The bar is so loud it is hard to enjoy your dinner. The food was bland and the service was slow. There are so many better resturaunts in Natomas that cater to families and not just the bar crowd.

My husband and I came to Malabar for dinner before a concert at Arco. We let the waiter know we were pressed for time and he was great about expediting our order even though the place was packed. When the food came, it was presented very nicely and tasted even better. My husband likes Cob Salad and he said this was the best one he's ever had. It even came without the avocado and with extra tomato as requested. They used thick cut bacon that wasn't too salty, a ? chicken breast grilled to perfection and all the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the Malabar Chicken Sandwich with fries and intended on only eating half the sandwich and a few fries, but I ate the whole sandwich and most of the fries it was all SO good. All the staff we encountered were very professional and friendly all the way to the end as we walked out the door. The waiter and the hostess both asked how the food was and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say (of course that?s easy to do when it was all good).

Pros: Helpful Staff // Fun atmosphere // Excellent Food

Cons: Not the place for quite conversation

We went on a game night and it was packed. It was almost like being at the arena. Great bar and fun place to get together with friends. Upmarket look with reasonable prices. Best Nachos in town. Great drinks and fun bartenders.

Pros: View the game from everywhere, killer happy hour prices.

Cons: Had to go home eventually.

We liked the casual atmosphere, with the GREAT food! We've only been there once, but both my wife and I liked it, and both had very good meals. We brought our 2 kids, and did not feel it was too foofy for kids, but it had that 4 star restaurant feel. Enjoy!

Sat at the bar, only had appetizers and they were pretty good. Nice place, good for after work drink. Looks like young business crowd. TV's everywhere.
