.

Ok, I've lived here at Verano Apartments In Rancho Cucamonga going on 1 year now. At first when I moved in everything seemed great, but now the dark cloud has moved in.... and the apartments are quickly going down the crapper. The management staff at Verano Apartments in Rancho Cucamonga have NO CLUE what is even going on. I get really pissed off when someone I'm paying is being extremely condescending to me, as if they see me pissed and smile, well that is TINA -- I think she is an assistant manager, god forbid you have to deal with CARMEN (I mean does she even move or talk?). I don't think she even leaves her office, oh yes she does -- for lunch. I asked for a callback from her over 2 hours ago, she must still be on lunch. That is why these apartments are crap. They are a mirror image of the staff running them.

HALLWAYS: Verano Apartments have what I initially thought was really cool a hallway where your apartment is. You should really enjoy the long walk down the hallway, nothing like coming home and walking down the hallway and picking up on the aroma of MARIJUANA SMOKE!! You can smell it every night. (See other reviews -- I??m not alone!)

POOL: They really do have a beautiful pool. I think is it one of the best in the area. So do half of the people that come there from other places on the weekends, they don't even live there I mean you have all these little kids running around with no residents. Management is where? THEY DON'T CARE! (See other Reviews)

PATIOS: 9. Balcony or Patio: Balconies and patios shall be kept neat and clean at all times. No rugs, towels, laundry, clothing, appliances or other items shall be stored, hung or draped on railings or other portions of balconies. I told management several times over a month ago my neighbors downstairs have tacky looking straw hanging on the patio to hide the fact that they have huge bags of trash which smells when I open my windows. OUTSTANDING. (See other reviews, same thing)

GATED COMMUNITY: Gate transmitter works when it wants, I mean I sit there and click, and it doesn??t open the gates or my garage. Now I understand why people run into the gates with their cars to open them, so when the gate is broken it??s always open or it picks and chooses when it works. Since I??ve lived here the gate has been broken half of the time... why bother? They even break the walk in gates every other month (half of the time) (Other reviews mention same thing)

PRIME LOCATION at Verano in Rancho Cucamonga: If you live facing Civic Center Dr -- WELCOME TO THE SLUMS!!! I mean the overall apartments are not bad -- CIVIC CENTER VIEW -- CRAPPY. I get the joy of motorcycles racing down the street LOUD REVVVVVVVEEENNN their engines, drunken fights from the apartments across the street, cars racing, cars bumping music at 3, 4, 5 AM... BOOOOOOMMM, BOOOOMMMM.... Neighbor downstairs smokes on the patio ALLL THE TIME because they don't work, which happens to go in my windows (Now, I have to keep closed anyways to avoid the noise and the smell of cigs... mmmmmm) and now my AC is out and its about 90 degrees inside and outside... I??ve been waiting the past week to get it fixed -- but they only have 1 A/C guy who is contracted for all of the 500 apartments.... he's already rescheduled 2 times on me now. So my windows are open and I can't sleep (because the heat and the noise) this is fantastic. They said he may be able to come next week. Management? CLUELESS or all!!! All the reviews on these apartments are right, the management sucks when you need something, nice when its rent time. You know the drill. So hopefully I??ll have AC by next week because I??m moving out in another 3 weeks anyways. The best part of all this is, they raised my about 20%, I'm moving to AMLI, I really should have started there. I have friends at the AMLI apartments that say they have NO PROBLEMS. This is a bit too much.

PET POLICY: Verano in Rancho Cucamonga has an outstanding Pet Policy; I mean there is tons of pet crap on the grounds. I always see huge dogs walking around 50lbs+ how could the staff not see these dogs or the crap for that matter?

PARKING: So about 2 months ago Verano Apartments started selling parking spots and they tagged HALF of the parking in the complex ??Reserved?, this was complete chaos and if you were not home by 6 o??clock you were not getting a parking spot in the complex (another great idea to generate revenue). This was a complete mess, I mean only about 50 people opted in to lease a dedicated parking spot for $30 a month, so all the parking was reserved and you could not find a place to park. After about 2 weeks of doing this and several tows later they realized the plan was a flop and painted over the ??Reserved? on the parking spots and opened it up again. This policy will take affect once more people reserve spots and you will be forced to pay another $30/per month once it does or just don??t park.

Good Luck.
