I'm really trying to like this place, but so far I can't say anything positive. I signed with RPM print division back in Nov. '11 and I haven't gotten ONE audition! I bought 200 dollars worth of comp cards and its starting to seem like I should just use them as kleenex. My agent seems to be a hard worker from the outside, but who know? She doesn't get back to me too often and when she does she asks me the same questions.

Scam scam scam. I was openly lied to about the connection between the photo studio and the "agent" who basically just hustled acting classes and workshops while only getting me TWO auditions for terrible projects in the course of a year. I was made huge promises and encouraged to buy headshots from the photographer who I was not told was connected to the agency by marriage. I stopped checking in by email and phone to see how long it took them to realize I'd dropped them. I got an email a year after that telling me that I was being let go from the agency. Can't tell you how many messages in that year I got about AMAZING opportunities for workshops and classes.

Scam.

They have taken me to a whole nother level. Cody D is the real thing baby. They care about the work no bs, they arent campaigning for relection like Mavrick or all these other places that are so out of control witht heir egos they are closing left and right. They get their actors in the house and then the rest is up to you. If you dont perform your out. People dont like that well then they need to go back to kindEgarden yah know? God Bless. Hayley you Rock. Tiffany- you fine girl. Victor you go dawg.

First of all, I have to say I created an account just to write a review of this stellar agency and that is not easy for me to do. I am an older actor who has been out of the business for a while and have been back just 5 years and have worked with some real a&*h&#ls in my return to the industry if you know what I mean. I feel like I have been so blessed to have found such wonderful people to protect me from the mean people that will eat you up in this shark tank.

I started in the commercial department with Lisa Smith who was so wonderful, she had a real honest approach to her a New York style which I really related to. When she left and moved to New York to open their new offices there, I was so scared that I would get lost but I was so lucky that I had the privledge to be in the hands of Victor Coral who was flown in from their new partners The Agency from Great Britian although I think he is South American. He soon introduced me to Hayley Littman and they both now cover me for theatrical as well. I have booked 8 projects that have nationally aired, 16 regional spots, and have even done 3 theatrical projects as the stage is where my heart lies. I am currently working with Petrina Herman in their print division but haven't booked anything quite yet. I continue to refer all of my Actors Studio friends to RPM and they are tops on all of our lists. They even represent a few of the instructors. How is that for a referral.I am so greatful for them and I think if you are looking for a nice place that is filled with very nice people that really get you out on to auditions you should be so lucky to have them working on your team. You can mark my work on that!

These reviews are over 2 years old. RPM talent has merged with the Agency and has relocated offices to Burbank. They are a strong agency. They have just brought Hayley Littman on board as Director of Talent Development. She was co-founder of Holeshot Talent and responsible for building a very strong commercial board. She is very respected by many people.

Just saw an email asking me to come to a meeting to improve marketing my career. Bottom line. After checking around with some other actors I'm told it's all about a an internet Multi Level Marketing program which, surprise surprise, Jim Richer and an RPM agent, Stephanie, get a piece of. So every actor who signs up for this program is putting money directly into the pockets of those two. RPM is also trying to sell the program to the parents of younger actors. Is this something SAG should be made aware of?

Pros: Can't think of one

Cons: Always looking for an angle

I was represented by them for about a year. They did submit me. I went on auditions. I even booked something that I didn't audition for. However they would like to SELL you as much service as possible. Recommending everything from website design and acting classes to teeth whitening.- all provided by companies virtually, though not technically in their office. They will recommend new headshots from their own "unaffiliated" photographer as well. The last straw for me were the text messages telling me that CSI had posted a breakdown for actors of my type and coincidentally the casting director was seeing actors this week at an unaffiliated actors showcase for just $35- a great opportunity! This "opportunity" occurred every week with a different show. They do some work but, they work harder for themselves. Not a completely scammy organization. They do submit you. They accept union and non-union talent, so beginners might go there just to learn what's right and wrong with the business. Just keep a hand on your wallet.

Pros: They submit actors, they recommend services, they accept beginners

Cons: They sell the services they recommend, which legitimate agencies do not do
