Awesome place. I came to visit my friend that lives in LA over the summer (August 2009) and she actually works for this boutique! The place was clean, welcoming, and just down right FABULOUS! I bought a romper while I was there, which means the clothing is great too! YOU MUST CHECK IT OUT..... NO YOU HAVE TO! No matter what service you choose, you will be 100% SATISFIED! I PROMISE! Even if you dont live in LA and just on vacay, STOP IN AND PAMPER THE HECK OUT OF YOURSELF! :) Totally worth it!

I love Veronica's wax, I am an spoile cougar and refuse to settle for less than excellent service, I have been a coustomer for a very prestigious spa for several years, I always felt that the staff was to snoody and never felt at home at Treats for the face you feel like you are in heaven the services is supper, ah and the late.

I left this salon feeling like my hair was worth a million dollars!!! Miriam hooked me up so much! She was so welcoming when I first walked into the fabulous entry way. She knew exactly what I wanted and I have never been happier with the result. Miriam was also very honest with me and understands wanting to grow your hair long!!!! Everything from the arm massage, during the conditioner, to the fantastic highlights/lowlights, I couldnt be more excited to go see Miriam and Veronica again! They were sooo nice and personable. I would love to go there just to shop in the boutique and talk with the great staff! :) This is the perfect one stop salon that you will leave feealing great about yourself!

Treats for the face salon is absolutely nice from the shabby chic-ish decor to the friendly and outgoing staff it is a wonderful experience!Best of all is the perfect stylists. Miriam did my highlites, lowlites and a shine-gloss she immediately understood what i wanted,the color she gave me was better than i had envisioned! Andie did my blowout on my long hair and I was thoroughly impressed with her skill. I havent had a blowout this good since my last photo shoot! Miriam was extremely friendly,knowledgeable and adamant about me saving money by telling me not to get services done i dont need.every woman that left there today left glowing and couldnt say thank you enough to Veronica and her staff! I am super picky and I am VERY impressed!Almost forgot- the prices are amazingly low for the highest calibur of EXCELLENTservices!

I have a very bad skin. I have tried many different treatments, many different masks and many different facials. My journey to find a solution to my skin problem has been solved!
I have read about Treats for the Face and decided to give it a try. I have called in and asked for the owner to schedule a facial. She was booked and the first available day was Monday evening appointment. I came in with high expectations based on the reviews I read. What I can tell now is this lady (I think her name is Veronica) has magic hands! She recommended 6 treatments of this new treatment called Hydrafacial, after my first treatment i saw a big difference, I already see that my skin is better then ever!

omg so let me tell you about the best service I've ever gotten..I kept hearing about this new treatment that can smooth and straighten frizzy curly untamed hair without causing damange but acually repairing my hair at the same time...its true! they have finally come up with such an awsome treatment called the brazilian blowout!

My hair was so damaged, brittle and hard to brush. I would straighten it with the flat iron and it looked great but as soon as some heat, moisture or sweat touched it, it would frizz back up and become all tangled. However, my troubles are all over now! I can at last run my fingers through my hair, take on humidity and sweat while still looking amazing. The shine it has... well don't get me started on that... awwwsooome!!! The treatment even comes with all the after care products to keep it looking its best at all times. I have to give a million thanks to Andie, my new favorite stylist. Not only that but the price was super affordable and they gave me $50 dollars off cause if was my first time... fantastic! All the girls at the salon were so awsome! I love love love my hair! TREATS THANK YOU!

I went here on the recommendation of a friend for a Brazilian wax. I have super sensitive skin and am very prone to ingrowns. Veronica was great and super duper fast. The wax was very gentle on my skin and I had very little irritation when the hair started to grow back. Highly recommended!!

From the moment you enter the salon you will experience the difference. The difference is not only seen but can be felt. The intesity of innovative and creative energy fills the atmoshere thourghout the salon.
Veronica is consistently professional and offers great services at a great price. have never really been let down. She is friendly fast and very professional. I have been let down by aestheticians and waxing and sometimes they are too careless. Try threading if you are sick of reedness and irritation from waxing, mediocre "spa" settings, and overpriced services that you can get for a fraction of the price.

This is a quaint day spa. It has very reasonable prices. I am able to get in with them as a walk in. The owner and lead esthitician, Veronica is a doll and extremely capable; i felt extremely comfortable in her control. They work with me and advise me in a genuine way. The prices are reasonable and they have very stylish up to date dresses, blouses, and much more! Treats for the Face is remarkable, i would rate it a 12 on a scale 1-10.

I really NEVER write reviews. I am far too busy for this kind of thing. But my experience at Treats For The Face ( Hair Salon Skin Care Waxing Bar & Boutique) was something to rave about! I drove by "treats" a few months ago and I fell in love with the cozy, non-clinical atmosphere, which is hard to find.They use very natural product lines, which are amazing and its almost impossible to find a spa that has all these qualities. They customize your facial based on your skin type and personal goals. My skin looks radiant! Veronica and her creation straight out of a little girls dream tale, combined with the fantasies of a little girl who knew she would one day have a place that catered to the needs and desires of every woman. Who happen to be inviting, gorgeous, made me feel at home, offering me a drink, and making sure I was comfortable. Not like the snob fake you deal with at many of the spas in LA. They were so REAL, it was like hanging with a couple of girlfriends. They also have an amazing selection of cute in style clothes that aren't too expensive, lots of different kinds of goodies from chapstick to an adorable sundress! basically I would deffinately recommend that everybody check this place out. Coming from New York I am an extremely picky customer!! I have tried day spas all over LA. Even the ones rated #1 in top magazines and none of them compare to Treats for The Face.Treats is the only place I have found that uses Blue Wax. Which apparently no one anywhere in LA knows about and the only wax that is supposed to be used on your sensitive areas. Veronica found this miracle wax and has made a My skin is unbelievably improved since taking there expert advice!! I highly reccomend this spa for waxing, facials and any of your beauty needs.

I went to treats for the face for my first time brazilian wax, I was more nervous then I had ever been for anything! Veronica made me feel so comfortable and smooth in less than 5 minutes! With her wonderful chocolate and blue hard wax that's hard to find in L.A. It hardly hurt either! Veronica is so wonderful she make me feel so confident, special and savvy when she recommended her many differen't types of dresses, purses, and excesories. This place is amazing! This is your One Stop shop for any and almost everything. It was hard to find but after reading an article about treats for the face that really make me to make that phone call to book my appointment for my bikini wax i am still shocked and almost speechless, this was the must speedy, painless and incredible wax i ever had! I wasn't prepared for all the other services that they offer, i got these incredible golden tan, and my eyelashes done. The facials all sound so amazing and they are! The Treats for the Face Boutique/Spa has the softest calmest energy. If you are coming in for your first brazilian wax- which can be intimidating and uncomfortable- the great energy will instantly put you at ease. I wish i had found her before my first wax. My previous waxer was rated number one in the Washingtonians Best of the Best and she was fast- that is why she was so loved- but uncomfortable leg up leg down bottom up and the room was not so clean. I was amazed at how clam she was- quiet and clean space- no leg up down - hold this pull that. and she gets every hair. I could not believe it. . i followed her and have only amazing things to say about her Spa/Boutique, it is so inviting.The facials at this spa are also amazing- the products are so wonderful. i went to veronica when my skin was the worst (puberty) lol lots of acne and scarring. she knew exactly how to fix it using a facial then she did microdermabration treatment. the scars were terrible i was taunted about my skin. after the treatment i had no scars and no acne for 8 months. veronica is miracle worker

After having a horrible experience with my last wax, I finally decided to give the Brazilian another try. I just moved to the area so I did some research online and found an overwhelming response to Treats For The Face. I was a little hesitant to try since I wasn't sure how viable the sources were but nonetheless made an appointment anyway. The shop is adorable and everyone who works there is super friendly. I was even running a little late due to traffic and Veronica didn't mind at all! She took me in listened to my previous experience and set my mind at ease as she began the "Sister Clean". Although I will admit there was a little pain ( I am most definitely a huge baby and have ULTRA sensitive skin) but nothing like my last waxing. She talked to me through the entire appt. and was beyond sweet. I will recommend this place to every I know. I could not be any happier with the outcome! Not to mention my last waxing took 45 minutes... Veronica was done in less then 15!!! If you want the most painless wax possible you must go to Treats For The Face! Plus you make pick up so great clothing or shoes in her boutique.

I have been getting brazlian waxes for about a year. I went to Treats for the first time a few weeks ago and had a great experience. She is very gentle and the results lasted a lot longer than past waxes I have had. I will definitely continue to go to Veronica for future waxes.

Treats for the Face is THE place to go to for a wax. I have been going for years and am continually impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and quality of work that provides you with absolute comfort. I have also had facials done here and occassionally bought skin care products. Treats for the Face must do their homework on the products they carry and would not recommend something just to make a sale. They believe in and try their products themselves. I love the atmosphere and feel as like you've been refreshed when step out the door.. I have been to other "specialty spa's" spas around town - they are not in the same league, not even close. Their excellent team has Spirit that you begin to make you feel as if you are their only customer - and they pamper you to the fullest. You have not visited a spa without visitng Treats for the Face

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have gone to other waxing salons that are specially for waxing and they say that their better than any other, well their wrong. Treats for the Face is the best place I have ever gone to get a wax. Veronica (The Waxer) is the sweetest, gentle, kind, outgoing and pleasant waxer I have ever had. When your there getting waxed, she makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed that you even forget that shes pulling all your hairs out. I will never go to another place. So if your looking for a different experience in waxing then the place you go to where they might leave you bleeding or very irritated, Please go to Treats for the Face. It will be the best $60 to $80 you have ever spent. Look on there website, they also have coupons!!!

Ok. I really NEVER write reviews. I am far too busy for this kind of thing. But my experience at Raya today thoroughly deserved one. I needed some major decompressing from all the stressors in life today. I went to Sandra for waxing/facial and I wish I knew her name (she is Thai) for a massage. These two ladies were the NICEST, most skilled women in their chosen professions I have interacted with in LA. Sandra was such a pleasure taking careful concern to ask me about my skin and to deliver an AMAZING facial which left me with GLOWING skin, and my massage was the best massage I've received literally in YEARS! I am a very happy client today!!!!!

Trying not to touch it because they told me not to, but its hard not to because my skin feels so soft. called on a Friday morning on the off-chance i could get an appointment that day. I had never been to the salon before. They told me to come there and then and gave me a pretty reasonable quote for color, cut and blow-dry. It was great! The salon is very nice, clean and professional with a laid-back feel. All the staff were super nice and offered tea/drinks etc. My stylist, was great. She knew exactly what my hair needed and listened to what i wanted. treats is a really great colorist and stylist and is a really nice girl. I will for sure go back to her from now on.

So I am getting married and the one thing my fiance' wanted was me to get a Brazilian. I did A LOT of research and found the reviews for Treats. My friends who had done it before said it hurts, alot, especially the first time and said they still yell out when they go back because of the pain. I was so scared. but, veronica and her team of experts were so calm and sweet, It was so surprising. It did not hurt at all really. Just a little discomfort- but like getting your eyebrows waxed. I have already made an appointment to go back in 4 weeks. LOVE this place. So calming and if you are getting a Brazilian, virtually painless. And not awkward at all. I got to lay on my back the whole time. So refreshing. Go here if you are going to get a Brazilian.

I LOVE this place! My girlfriends and I go every few months for facials, and its sooo nice. Sometimes we use the sauna/steam facilities and sometimes not (but I love when we do!) Either way, I've never had a negative experience. The estheticians (sp?) are very knowledgeable and don't forcefully try to sell you their products like some places do. All of the products are 100% natural and feel and smell so good. I come out of there feeling like a new woman every time. The only thing I ask my husband for at Christmas time is a gift certificate to Raya - and thankfully he obliges every year (and for my birthday too!)

I went in for a facial. The manager of the store and the person who did my facial was very nice. They really went out of their way to make my experience there as enjoyable as can be. I went to other spas before but this is the best spa I've ever went to. I thought it was only a face massage but when the mask was on my face, They massaged my head,neck,shoulders, arms, and legs. It was wonderful! I'm definitely bringing my mom here. I highly recommend everyone to go to this Spa.

What a nice salon! From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted by pleasant, attractive people. my stylist They gave me a thorough consultation wanting to know details of my personal to professional lifestyle. They colored and cut my hair personally, not passing me off to anyone else which has happened at other salons to my horror....My haircut is updated and my color has never looked better! Since I?ve been 18 I?ve experienced hair loss that has become gradually worse over the years. As a young woman, this can be traumatizing since your hair is often what makes you feel feminine. I?ve been to every type of doctor, tried every product out there and even resorted to cosmetic hair loss companies? all with no solution. By chance encounter, I ran into Kristen who explained a new type of hair extensions called micro lines that were specifically created for women with thinning hair. The idea sounded ?too good to be true? especially with the stereotypes I?ve heard about extensions in the past. Plus, I thought, ?Why has nobody suggested this solution before?? Her training, knowledge of the hair industry and new techniques blew me away. She has a huge heart and became certified to do micro lines on me because she truly cared about making a difference in my life. I?ve had my ?new do? for over two months now and I cannot even begin to count the number of compliments I've received from strangers on how much they love my hair cut. I am so thankful for all she has done to make such a positive impact in my life.

I like most other people was very hesitant to try yet another salon. I've had my haircut in many cities in many different countries, and finally I am convinced there is a perfect salon out there. ........ and it's name is the Treats for the Face Salon. Not only did they welcome me as a walk in, But I didn't even wait long at all. I instantly fell in love with the warm neighborhood vibe, and friendly atmosphere that they have going on there. The conversations filled the room and was not only isolated between stylist and client, but it seemed as if from a scene in a movie, that everyone talked freely, and openly amongst each other as if we all were long time friends. Conversations varied from where's good to eat in the neighborhood, to thoughts on the long term effects of global warming. Miriam is a not only a seasoned and amazingly talented stylist, but she is also a great listener, and worked with me through my lack of being able to describe what exactly I wanted to do with my hair. Together we put together what usually is almost impossible to find...... a great haircut. I was no farther than 3 blocks away, before I got my first of many compliments on my hair, which only reassures me of my opinion. I only wish there were a Treats for the Face Salon in every city I visit.

i would like to start by saying that the awful review below is fake and untruthful. this is clearly from a competing salon or a very sick and twisted person who is trying to bring another persons quality of work down. I know for a fact that veronica is the most professional and best waxer & facialist I have ever come across and this would not occur in her salon.

I am a proffessional makeup artist and have tried millions of salons, veronica is flawless. I fully trust her and everything she does. I refer all my clients to her before their weddings or if they have skin problems as I know my job as a makeup artist will be easier after veronica has literally FIXED their skin. she can do anything. i have seen numerous clients go in with bad skin and come out after a few appointments with perfect skin...

whatever Veronica recommends i highly recommend she is truly a proffesional and knows exactly what she is talking about.

i had tried many spas and about 6 or 7 other top salons in Los Angeles Veronica knows how to truly take care of the skin ( just look at her skin, it looks about 21 years old! and it glows!!! its remarkable!)

I've been seeing my hairstylist, Miriam, for over a year now and was really upset when I heard that she had left her old salon in studio city......but guess what, I found her!

She always gets my hair the perfect shade of blonde without damaging it at all! I've had bad experiences in the past with other stylists, and I will never see anyone but Miriam ever again! I was a little nervous that I wouldn't like the color line at her new salon as much as the organic color she was using, but I love it and it left my hair way softer and super shiny!

Not to mention, this place does everything! I can get my waxing, skincare, and hair all done here. AND they have a super girly boutique with a ton of really adorable dresses and shoes!

I followed my long time colorist, Miriam Blanco, here from her old salon. I love, love, love this place! The environment is great, I got to shop around and look at all the cute clothes while my color was processing, AND I had the best wax of my life! They use a different technique here. The results are, less trauma on the skin. The waxed area will not be as red and irritated and will stay smooth longer than with your usual wax. Also, the shop is very clean and pleasant.

Went in for a spray tan. Scared. Full of questions. Treats For My Face staff put me at ease. Love their use of a NON-CHEMICAL spray tan.
--Love that I'm not drying off with a ceiling fan as was my last experience. I was left wet in some spots+the same spots dried badly. Furious that I had a "brown spill-looking stain" on my index finger. UGH!
BUT.. Treats For The Face is awesome. I left with a golden tan that developed beautifully! Flawless (though i've never tanned my face, i use bronzer,that won't change) and I am going back.
--Bought shoes too. Ladies put them on me since I had just tanned felt like I was being pampered by my own stylists. No need to go anywhere else now.

The shop doesn't open until 9 am, but I got there 10 min early and they let me come in anyway. I was extremely comfortable and relaxed given the circumstances (first time wax). i will definitelyyy go back the next time i need to get something done. oh and the job was done phenomenally.

Pros: staff is friendly!
