Pros: Best Atmosphere

Hands down the best croque madame in SF. It took me a while but finally found it. This is my go to place in the Marina. I live in the Presidio and come here all the time for a low key bite.
Burgers are also great.

This is the best neighborhoodie place! The crepes, the burger, the roasted chicken (the best around)...you can't go wrong, and to top it off the service is great and very friendly! It's also very well priced...

Even if you don't like burgers (but you're a meat eater), you have to try Chez maman's burgers! the whole menu is decent. Great for lunch -- french-menu that won't disappoint for the price.

I was there with my 2 gfs today and we sat at the one tiny table outside the restaurant...the road was slanted and we were about to topple over everytime we moved too much! Actually it wasn't so bad--and the french waiter guy--wow we were

Wonderful bistro food! It's the mini balthazar in SF. Paper menus with earthy french country food. Tasty and affordable wines make finding something to wash the dinner down a treat. The space small, yet I appreciate that they didn't

If you are looking for fancy-schmansy French cuisine, remember this isn't Fleur de Lys. However, it is one of the best restaurants in the city for other reasons! Firstly the food is amazing. Simple and sumptuous, all cooked to

Chez Maman. The english translation is "At mum's house" and that is exactly how you feel when you dine at this fabulous Union Street eatery. The minute you walk in and get the warm friendly greeting from Stefan and Su, you feel at home.

Although I haven't tried the original in Potrero Hill, I heard such great things about it that I had to try this closer one on Union. The restaurant keeps a comfortable size, not cramming a bunch of tables in. The service was great, with

I ate there the second night it was open. I was very impressed with the food, the ambiance, the service, and the price. The Veal was absolutely delicious--I mopped up every last drop of sauce with the bread. Can't wait to dine there
