I'm so surprised that there aren't more reviews for this place! I just moved to the bay area and was looking for a good brazilian wax. I called a bunch of the places I found on craigslist with high reviews, but no one was taking Monday appointments! When I searched "Yelp" online, I found Carrie at Dermal Essentials. She answered the phone herself, was really accommodating, and booked me an appointment right away. I'm kinda a baby when it comes to waxing (and since I hadn't heard any craigslist reviews, I assumed I'd tear up at least a little) but honestly, she was so good! I think the strips she used were especially soft which made a huge difference. She was very friendly and got EVERYTHING! Also, a side note, I'm always rushing home to shower off the leftover stickiness from a wax but to my surprise, when I got home, it wasn't sticky at all and instead of my underpants like sticking to my skin, they actually smelled like some kind of eucaliptus (I'm assuming part of wax or maybe the lotion that she put on after)! Carrie also works in sacramento if you're in that area so check her out and check 'Yelp' for more reviews!

Pros: brazilian wax, gentle, accommodating, good price

Cons: not one
