I went to Prez for the first time a couple of months ago. She had done one of my friend's hair styles and I loved it - so, got her name and number. I walked in and upstairs to her adorable and comfortable lofty space. And she did what I've always wanted my hair stylist to do ... she really took the time to work with me upfront, find out what I was thinking and made some wonderful suggestions. She really cares and is so passionate about what she does - it means a lot! She inspired me to try something really new and different. I have received so many compliments on her work. And now, I'm writing a review and hoping she will see it and squeeze me in the weekend for an appointment!

After almost 12 years, I still tell Prez to "do whatever looks good" or to simply "make me look beautiful". Yes, that's how much confidence and trust I have in her. She's always up-to-date with the latest trends, styles, and product; educates you on how to style and care for your hair; and to top it off, she treats you to a soothing head and neck massage. Oh, let's not forget the great conversation! Prez is also great with making recommendations and what would be best with the type of hair and skin tone you have, and most importantly, is not afraid to step out of the box if you want to completely change your look for the season. I've referred her to many of my friends and they definitely feel the same way I do! Now, I've lived everywhere from San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Oakland, and the East Bay, and have yet to find anyone that compares to her! You definitely wont' regret it!

If you have straight hair, Prez is the hair stylist for you! She works magic on my extremely straight hair and I get tons of compliments on the cut, from the first week after the cut to the fifth.
I highly recommend Prez as a hair stylist for any kind of hair as I have seen her do beautiful work on curly hair too. She has great ideas for cuts but also listens to any ideas I have and she always does what is best for the hair type-which is great when I have wild ideas that would be a mistake-she takes the time to talk about how it would look and what might or might not work.

Prez specializes in transformation. Not only has she completely changed my look, she has revitalized my career, and my self esteem.
I'm an actor, and now that she's changed my color and cut, I get more auditions and look better on camera. She understands what my hair will do, and keeps my look modern and sassy.
As a professional show-off, I didn't think I had self esteem problems. But since my "make-over," I can't believe how everyone complements me on my hair, and how complete strangers are taking a second look. I feel proud to show off my hair now...that's for sure!
Additionally, Prez is a pro. She's organized, always runs on time, keeps up with the latest trends...oh, and wait until she gives you her famous head massage! Treat yourself to a make-over with Prez -- I couldn't recommend her more highly!

After losing my hair to cancer in the past, I've been very hesitant about any big changes in regard to my overall style. For the past four years its been long with slight layers and bangs. My mom has been raving about Prez since she received her makeover, so before I left for college I thought here's the time for a big change. I brought in some pictures of hairstyles I thought I would like, kind of a short layered bob look. Needless to say I was freaking out. But Prez looked at the pictures and worked with me to help me see what would be the better length and customized the look for my face. Throughout the cut, Prez made sure to tell me how to "love" my hair in the future and how to educate future hairstylists in how to cut it, if I was unable to make it back before I needed a touch up. Rising from the chair and shamelessly checking myself out, I couldn't believe that the girl looking back at me from the mirror was me! My new look is edgy, sophisticated and the perfect jumping off point to start my college career. THANKS PREZ!!

I live on Rockridge are in Oakland, very convenient. Prez is an awesome hair stylist. She took the time to ask me about my hair. What worked and what didn't work from my last haircut. She is an amazing hair colorist.
She uses Paul Mitchell Color, which works really well on my hair. She customized my hair color by using a color blocking technique.
People constantly ask about my color & cut where ever I go. Prez's haircuts last a long time. They grow out well.
I like that she has an on line booking, which makes it so convenient for me. Prez is very professional. I like the before and after pictures she has on her website. She knows her craft. Her website is www.prezinc.com
