Birite Creamery

This place makes me glad I moved to the Mission. Before I moved here, I would buy it by the pint and keep it in my freezer. I still don't know what my favorite flavor is -- honey lavender? roasted banana? or perhaps you, salted caramel?

It's good to know that my junk food habit supports these guys. Birite is locally owned and sources its ingredients from local farms including Strauss family creamery. This place is an SF treasure.

Don't try to come here on a hot day -- the DP crowds will have you beat.

Oh man, their roasted banana ice cream is so delicious. Usually when you ask for graham crackers on ice cream, you get a bunch of graham cracker powder all over whipped cream and it kind of tastes like dirt. Bi-rite had gigantic chunks of very delicious graham crackers, definitely not honey graham, all over their roasted banana ice cream with dark caramel sauce. Man, that was a climax, in ma mouth.

Bi Rite is a decadent snack, in two ways: it's Strauss dairy, which is rich and delicious. And they have fun and tasty flavors of iced cream. It's also quite decadent in price!

Go for the salted caramel for something crazy good.
