Trattoria La Strada

If you want great food and great service, go somewhere else! One hour to cook 5 ravioli? Are you kidding me?!!! The sauce on the ravioli was like cambell's tomato soup! All of the tables around us were having problems at this place. My advice? Take a stroll PAST La Strada if you want an enjoyable evening and don't want to pay $30.00+ for $10.00 food.

We were treated to lunch by our director for Christmas lunch. There were 12 of us and the restaurant , though not a big place, had made arrangements for us to sit towards the back and not be disturbed.Food was excellent. From their appetizers to desserts, to wine!Recommend to anyone.

This place is located right on the corner of 5th! One of the best places to get Italian food! My favorite plate is the Tortellini Magnifico! The cream sauce was so good! The chicken is also very delicious here! The service is amazing and the food is delicious! I have a wonderful experience every time I go there! I highly recommend even though the price is pretty expensive!

We liked this one, we went early so it wasnt too crowded. The portions were huge. It is downtown, so it is quaint with the candles on the tables and super cental. A little pricey, but you get what you paid for. It is worth it

The food here is consistent and well prepared Italian food. However, compared with the many neighboring Italian places in the gaslamp, this restaurant is only average. In a less cluttered location, someone might rate this restaurant higher but the menu lacks the creative options of some of the other nearby restaurants and the service is poor. The food is often under cooked or over cooked when extremely crowded and the atmosphere is not as inviting as one would hope.

The food here is absolutely wonderful. It lacked a little in terms of attentive service but otherwise it's a really enjoyable place to eat. Gets crowded so get ther early!
