Me and my husband have been buying turkey meat and other products from this store... Everytime we enter the store we get approached by store employees asking if we need help...I love this kind of help...I asked a young gentleman to help me go into the freezer to get me something and he did.. Awesome worker...I am thankful to have such a place like this close to my town West Sacramento...Thanks Cash & Carry for the great job!!! Keep it up...

Poor service, I went to Cash and Carry to do price comparisons, I had my family with me as we were going up and down the isles look at the different products they carry ,My son found a large rice krispie treat, he was excited and started to cheer one of the employees told me to control my children and I said for cheering the employee told me this store is for business shoppers only, We left our cart and walk out. Cash and carry is not a library and my sons cheering level wasn??t loud he could have done that in the library and not told to be quiet, I shop with my kids all the time and I have never been so rude to

I frequent this place on a regular basis, as a business, purchased my basic items, the prices are fair.. Although the equipment is on the expensive side. Food products such as meat and boxed and frozen items are of good quality. The people have always been helpful when asked of them.
My only compliant is that the frozen oysters used to come in boxes, now, it's in plastic bag. All the other "Mrs.Friday" items still are boxed.

I purchased sirloin steak opened it to portion it for my restaurant. The moment I opened I could tell it was bad; I refused to serve the product to my customers. The next morning I called and spoke with Joe, he gave me the 3rd degree because I inquired about a return. An hour later I walked in explained this to an employee and that I did not have my receipt as I had given it to my bookkeeper. The meat was still in its original package and he could tell it was bad. (Exp. date was another 3 weeks away!) He recognized me and said it would be alright to exchange. While I was in the walk-in looking at some other meat I thought about purchasing Joe the jerk walks in and tells me that I could only exchange out sirloin for sirloin (duh) He was extremely rude and out of line for the way he spoke to me. I told him to keep his meat, inspect it, check the tag so that he doesn??t continue to sell bad products. I walked out. I spend hundreds of dollars there every week and thanks to JOE-no more.

Before I begin my review, here's some background info on myself... I'm a 24-year-old culinary school graduate and am desperately trying to start my own catering business. I've been catering events for friends and family for some time and now a big event is coming up which could potentially make or break my reputation around the Sacramento area.

Several people told me to visit this location since I was spending way too much money at chain supermarkets and groceries. I had some free time this morning so I decided to stop in and do pricing on meats, vegetables, etc.

I was greeted by several employees who were all polite and offered their assistance. I felt a little uneasy, being that I'm totally unexperienced and because of the stares I received. I wasn't sure if it was because I was the only woman in the entire store, my facial piercings, my ethnicity, or my age! At the time, I was also unsure whether or not I needed a membership or business license to shop there. I ignorantly wandered about the store anyway and read off some prices to my business partner.

As soon as I hung up my mobile phone, however, a man stopped me dead in my tracks and proceeded to bombard me with a million questions such as, 'What restaurant are you from?' 'Oh, what event are you catering?' 'What is your company called?' 'How long have you been in business?' 'Where is it?' 'Why are you here?' 'You've shopped at our Bay Area location then?' 'Where do you usually shop?' 'How many people?' 'What kind of event?' To put it simply, he asked me questions that were meant to make me feel very uncomfortable. At the very end of our "conversation" he said in a rather sarcastic manner, 'Well, when you get your license come back and we'll sign you up.'

I've never felt this belittled in my life. If I have to be subject to interrogation in order to get the great prices everyone talks about, it's totally not worth it!
