Jamaluddin Umaima S Md - John R Owens Ob/gyn

Dr. Owens is a wonderful doctor. I went to him when I was pregnant the first time and was pleased to learn that I was having twins. He listened to me and helped me though all my first time pregnant and scared problems. He was supportive of my plan to have a VBAC with my second pregnancy and I was so happy that he again listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions.

If all you want is a OB that will get you in and out of the exam room quick, the Dr. Jamaluddin's office can do that. But if you want a Dr. that is going to spend the time with you to listen to your concerns, ask you questions, and answer any you have.. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Jamaluddin was my OB during my pregnancy, and I was not impressed. I was a high-risk patient, and this was my 2nd pregnancy, but the 1st was miscarried. I was never measured, hardly had any tests or information given to me, and hardly ever got a chance to express my concerns or ask questions.

The wait in the waiting room took forever, at least an hour each time. The receptionists and medical assistants were not very welcoming either.
