King Of King Restaurant

With all the Chinese restaurants and deli's in Oakland, you're bound to have a favorite spot for take-out and picking up cooked duck, cha siu, and roast pork. This is the spot for us. With an adjacent parking lot, it's a breeze to zip in and pick up food for dinner. But more importantly, the Chinese deli items are excellent, always fresh and not too salty. The take-out is great, too. We love the Mongolian beef rice dish--with generous amounts of meat (a rarity these days). King of King is a fine restaurant run by a family that pays quite a bit of attention to service. And try the dim sum--as good as the deli items. Although we don't dine here very often, we have friends who have all their big family banquets here. Highly recommended.
