Whaling Bar & Grill

My husband and I had a great seafood meal in this restaurant. I had the dover sole, and he had the swordfish. Service was efficient and the waiters were friendly. A little pricey but this is La Jolla. Would recommend.

Located in the La Valencia, this bar and grill is a real find, albeit a dark room when you first enter. The staff has been there a while and know the locals. The grill provides light appetizers to heavier food....a great place to quietly relax or celebrate with friends.

If you just want to take it all in, relax, leave the rest of the world behind and enjoy whomever you're with, this is the place to go. The Whaling Bar & Grill is the best and worth a visit. Great ambiance, great views and great views.
