1)Our lead coordinator left the company and nobody told us. When we called to check on things 3 weeks before the wedding, they scrambled to figure out who would take care of our event.
2)Guests were not seated until 5 minutes before the ceremony. Still scrambling to take their seats during the processional (on video footage). Wasted money on the string quartet playing for 15 minutes to an empty room!
3)We confirmed the menu 3 weeks before the wedding, then printed 110 menus and told the guests how amazing the sun dried tomato risotto would be. What was served, however, was horrible, stark white, flavorless mush. NOT what we had at the tasting and contracted for. (some guests described it with a number of explicatives)
4)During dinner, guests informed us that some tables did not have water served for an over an hour and a half.
5)We checked with Beets prior to the event that the color of the linens at the ceremony cite would all match, but they looked like a light yellow and a white
6)The lead from Beets at our wedding wore a casual denim jeans jacket, bringing the most formal occasion of our lives down to a regular Friday night party. We needed to ask her to change or remove it in the middle of our banquet.
7)Finally, after listing these complaints to the president of Beets after our wedding, there was zero tact in customer service. She was sure we received excellent service and that all our guests (of incredibly wonderful people) said so and that all her employees said that it was a great night. Thanks a lot Beets!
