I have been going here for 2 years and absolutley love the in office staff. However on one occasion I had a change in insurance and could not be found in the system. I was told that I could pay for my appointment up front and then when my card came in, I would be reimbursed via mail and that it could take a few weeks to process. I had another appointment 2 weeks after the fact, but since it had not been a ""few"" weeks I did not feel the need to pester. \r\n\r\nBetween then and now it has been several months. In those several months I have moved and not felt any urgency to call and monitor someone about their responsibilities. I gave the benefit of the doubt and figured it was sent to my old address and had to be re-routed to my new address.\r\n\r\nI had to move with a newborn, by myself and my husband was sent away for an extended amount of time for work, so it was not my priorty to dig through my reciepts box. Upon finding my receipt I called and asked to reimbursed and why I hadn't. \r\n\r\nAll I got was the finger point, stating how basically its my responsibilty to call and check to make sure this woman is doing her job. I am confused because I did not realize it was a patients job to micromangage the billing department. She also stated that the reason she did not process my bill (even though I previously faxed her a copy of my reciept making it oh so easy)was because she has soo many patients. \r\n\r\nApparently the billing department has too many patients then they can handle and need to hire more and/or new help.\r\n\r\nMy husband and I are strongly considering another office.

Pros: Love the staff in office

Cons: billing department blames patients for not doing job

The doctor was excellent. My daughter had a procedure - no problems. I had a procedure for which I paid upfront. I waited patiently for the insurance to kick in and do their part, which it did and I was owed a refund. My son was to have a procedure, I suggested we just transfer the balance for his work. I was told it would be easier to just give me a refund. Right after my son had his procedure my employer switched dental insurers. There have been delays in processing the claim, now NCO & F has sent my account to collections. It has only been 8 months since the procedure - I been to the office twice now to try to get the information to the insurance company. I am not a deadbeat, I have not been working on this. I feel a total lack of loyalty to a good patient.
