Pabst Kinney & Associates Inc.

I moved here from another management company with plenty of horror stories of my own. Pabst Kinney & Assoc. is the exact opposite, it's like a dream come true. Personable staff that makes you feel welcomed and known, and timely service on anything I've ever asked for. I definately believe that Pabst Kinney & Associates has set the standard for what I believe a management company should be.

Pabst, Kinney responds immediately to all service requests with courtesy and concern for renters.

I've rented from them for 8 years and there is not a better apartment management company in Long Beach.

They have a genuine concern for renters you won't find anywhere else, always keep you informed about what's going on at the apartments as well as working to improve the experience of living in their units.

I have been a tenant for a little over 7 years. During this time frame (like everything else in life) there has been it's ups and downs. Communication has been the biggest downfall that we have experienced in the past with needed repairs (plumbing problems). To date, our living conditions are acceptable and we are fortunate to have a roof over our heads. Kassandra (my experience to date) has been an asset to the company since she came on board. So far....she has been very helpful with getting things done and addresses your concerns in a timely manner. Claudia has come a long way from what use to be. I have grown to respect her over the years. She has shown compassion towards others and will do her best to help you in whichever way she can. Overall....our experience with Pabst Kinney is good.

I've been a tenant for a little over four years and my experience with Pabst Kinney has been very pleasant.. Claudia and Kassandra are very professional and prompt in responding to voice mails or e-mails. Maintenance issues get resolved timely and complaints are handled very professionally. I really enjoy being their tenant and would definitely recommend anyone.

First of all, Pabst Kinney has been very professional and a kind staff. I live in the Termino apartments, the neighborhood and the rent are both great. They also have great service and return my calls the same day. The building supervisor Claudia and her assistant Kassandra have always been helpful with anything needed for the tenants. I have recommend them to a few family and friends and they are very satisfied with their apartments. Overall my relationship with Pabst Kinney has been nothing but good.

Pros: Great customer service, always on top of things.

Claudia was the best. She made me feel like I was number one, knowing there are others looking for apartments like me. I had no problems receiving callbacks and interacting with the staff of Pabst Kinney. Would greatly refer Pabst Kinney to other in the future. Again the best expierence by far.

I have been renting from Pabst, Kinney for over 6 years now. The individuals I deal with are Shannon and Greg. They have been very professional and a pleasure to work with. When repairs are needed, they get it taken care of. If I can't reach them on the phone, they call me back with answers to my questions. They are easy to work with I feel the line of communication are always open. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

This is the most unprofessional, rude, and unreliable apartment management companies ever. They are complete slum landlords. Their "apartments" on Termino Ave date back to 1900, with no air-conditioning, ventilation, and fungus growth in the bathrooms. The building is so bad that the city even threatened to knock it down. They never return your calls and when you need something fixed they avoid you or literally take weeks to fix the problem. One occupant had severe water damage in her apartment due to the upstairs neighbor running the water for days while she was gone. When reported, the manager, who, by the way, happens to be one of the rudest, nastiest ladies you will ever deal with, was argumentative and had to be called persistently to do something about it weeks later. The damage was then poorly, half fixed by their terrible repair team. When I had mold in my shower it took them months to do something about it, and when they did, they merely covered the mold with cheap, crumbling plaster. The apartments on Termino are worth about 300.00 a month tops, but these dumps start at 800.00 a month. Way overpriced for the quality and service the tenants will receive. I would not recommend Pabst, Kinney & Associates to anyone, even if I was paid for it. Save yourself the stress, health risks and money and stay away from these slum landlords.

I've been stuck with Pabst Kinny because of my low income so can only afford the $800 a month studio the size of a closet. It is really old and the thin walls actually crumble if I try to hang a picture or something up. I only have a tiny space heater from the 50's that Pabst Kinney included in the apartment and NO central heat or air conditioning. I can't open my windows though since they refuse to put locks on them and my friend was burglarized here. I also have a bad problem with dirt and dust here. Because there's no air vents, I have to vacume all the time. It is totally disgusting. Whenever I call Claudia the landlord she is conveniently never there and when I leave a message she never calls back. I have to call all day to reach her and when I do she is really mean and argumentative. If there's maintenance problems with your apartment, she acts like it's your fault. I can't wait to move out of this miserable dump when I go back to school!!
