Where to begin, on a day of a family outing we went to look at travel trailers as we have been doing for the past several months in anticipation of buying in a few more months. We were very up front with the salesguy Jeremy and told him we were not ready to purchase. He asked why, we explained we want to have a nice down payment saved. Jeremy was so pushy, said what if I could get you in with no money down and a payment of $250 (which is where we told him we wanted to be). After telling him we didn't believe it was possible he got us to give him our information to run the numbers. The negotiation process was laughable. Each time Jeremy or the other guy who was assisting came in to the room they would say "wish me luck" as they walked out to talk to TPTB. After hours it ended with us putting $1,550 down and a payment of about $233 a month. On the initial sales contract Michelle the finanace girl put 7.25% as the interest rate even though we had settled on 6.99% we had to bring it to her attention to print out a new contract. Then she tells us with this warranty our payment would be $260. We said we didn't want the extended warranty. She acted as if we must be stupid for not wanting to add an additional $2K on to this loan. She asked my husband, why don't you want it? He was like please I am telling you I don't want it and that is that. We left a $1000 deposit. So we leave with a scheduled pick up time the following Friday. (this was a Saturday) so Wednesday we get a call that they got the loan approved but a modified loan where they would need an additional $1,000 down and our payment would go up to $330 a month. Basically we had signed a contract promising to buy the RV and they are the ones who can't honor their own contract. If we had tried to get out of the deal, we were told absolutely no 'cooling off' period. But I guess those same rules don't apply to them. Crooked!

Mike Thompsons RV is the best run dealership in the Nation. In business since 1972, serving customers for over 38 years. I took delivery of a 2010 Phaeton Diesel Pusher. Sales and service staff were so nice and kept in contact with us 100% of the time. Flawless delivery! I also have a close friend who bought a Springdale travel trailer and was as happy as can be. He has been back twice for service and claims Mike Thompson guys and gals were courteous and responsive.

We had our RV in for service twice for warranty work. Nothing was done the first time except repairing the bathroom door handle. It broke again within 1 day.
We just picked up the RV today after leaving it there for 8 days; this time nothing was done at all, even though we were told repairs were made. The service department would not return our calls. Don't take your RV in to them, find another dealer with credibility.

Pros: Not sure there could be any.

Cons: Poor communication and very bad service.
