The arena is huge! Able to support both basketball, hockey, and concerts. You can get a great view from many seats. They also have food and beers on tap.

Where else can you watch the Lakers, Kings, Sparks and even my lowly Clippers play? If you are not a sports fan, do not fear, the Staples Center is also home to events for the family like Disney on Ice and KISS! Besides the entertaining aspect, it's just a beautiful venue, and before the game you can stop by LA Live to watch even MORE sports at the ESPN Zone or drink one of the hundreds of beers on tap at The Yardhouse. Good times to be had.

This is an amazing facility. The luxury seats are true to name... luxurious. The accoustics are great for hearing that hard hockey check or that thunderous slam dunk. Along with being a great sporting venue, this is a great place to see a concert. And I am proud to say that I saw Wrestlemania 21 at Staples Center!

This is an awesome place to go if you want to pay a great deal of money to park your car. Also, if you want to feel like a schmo and a schmuck all in the same 20 minutes, go buy a Hot Dog, and a beer after you've parked.

I love going to the Staples Center whether it's for a concert or a basketball game. I went here for a Lakers vs. Kings game and our seats were relatively close to the court, and we had a pretty good view. The concessions food is a bit overpriced (but what sports arena isn't?), but I still love getting the hot dogs and the garlic fries! The parking can get really bad especially on a crazy game night. There'll be all these nearby individual lots which go from about $15.

The Staples Center is great! The seats are all great...I have gone to see concerts and games and shows and it doesn't matter where I sit, the view is always great...the food is kinda expensive inside but what do u expect, its a main attraction, although the chicken nachos are not that bad! very tasty...then there are like a whole bunch of hot dog vendors after whatever u went for...the only thing i dont like about the Staples center is the entrance....the lines are never organized....its a hassle when going in

Been to the Staples Center for Concerts, Laker Games and Arena Football and I'm always having a great time when I go there. Drink prices are definitely over priced, but when you're having fun, who cares! Seating is great, but watch out when you sit in the nose bleed section... feels like you're gonna fall!

I've been to Staples Center at least 15 times in the last two and a half years for a variety of events. Everything from basketball to hockey to concerts and I've sat in the fourth row, premiere seating, luxury suite and the last row. This is a fantastic venue! Inside the amenities are all top notch, food and drinks are varied and high quality. The atmosphere outside before a game is electric. If you go to see a Lakers game make sure to avoid sections 306-308 if possible. 307 is where the very annoying high school band sits. They play the same monotonous drum beat on every possession to encourage "Defense". It gets old after about 2 minutes and doesn't stop till the end of the game!!!

This venue really doesn't have a bad seat in the house. I've always have had a good seat. But honestly, the top row doesnt appear to far off. Come here for a hockey game and be blown away. You can actually hear the bones breaking, and the teeth dislodging! Parking is really quite hassle-free. The only disparaging word I have for this place is it's outrageous concession stand prices. About 9 bucks will get you a couple chicken tenders and a plate of fries. A normal size hot dog alone goes for $4. But you must expect them to pay for the overhead and building costs somehow. Definetaly worth the gouging!!!

I got to catch a Kings game here and it was raucous! I had one keck of a rendevous! There were fight upon fight. Goal upon goal with the Kings coming out on top! The suites are real luxurious. But if you plan on getting yourself a bite to eat think again. Unless you want a bite taken out of your wallet! A chicken sandwich alone is about 8 dollars. A full blown meal is around 30. Its ridiculous. Another thing,. The guys in the red coats are kinda jerky. Not polite enough for my "brought up on the farm" standards. But its all good aslong as the view is nice and the action is packed full of it! Better venue than the sports arena thats for sure!

Came for a concert. Arrived in a taxi, it was very hard to find a taxi for the ride back. I suggest taking a taxi company number with you. Drinks are not cheap-$10 for beer. You might have better like at the bar that is on property.

I have been to the staples center many times and every time i say to myself i love it here so much i wish that i could work here! I have seen several concerts and i love to come watch the laker games on the huge screen when they arent at a home game. The parking is just terrible though but on some of the side streets you can find 5-10 dollar parking but you might have to walk a bit. They always have a great venue and if your hungry there are plenty of food choices inside. They have beer but beware its kinda of expensive! Oh and even if you dont have the best seats its still not that bad ...

I was very impressed with the Staples Center. Parking is quite expensive, but there's really nothing else you can do about that. The Center is very clean and well kept. There's fast food (hot dogs, popcorn, etc.), and a nice restaurant. I ate at the restaurant. It was very tasty. I sat outside on the balcony while I ate and it offers a great view of downtown LA. I was very pleased. I'll definitely be back!

Finally got to experience this gem at one of the lakers/kings games. What an awesome arena; great sightlines, huge crowd feverpitch ambience. As with most arenas drinks/food are outrageously priced but we're so used to that who cares - the overall experience is just outstanding.

I'm not a fan of arena-sized concerts at all, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Staples Center. The sound was great, my sightlines were good and the venue was pretty easy to navigate. I like their set up a lot. Getting out of the parking lot was somewhat problematic at the end of the night, but I can't think of a sold out concert I've been to where that didn't happen.

I've been to concerts and Lakers games here and have sat in a good variety of places. If you manage to get lower level seats, you're in good shape, have a good time.

However, if you're section number starts with a 3, be sure to bring your hiking gear and binoculars.

This place is nice... I have been a few times, for different events. The parking is over priced at $20.00
On their lot, you can find other parking around the area for half that price. The food is over priced as well, Mc Donalds combo meal will run you $10.00 Eat before you go. Beer is competitive with other venues at $10.00 a large cup.
The sound system is great, seats are comfortable. Other than the parking and food gauging, this is a good venue spot.

It's got it all. Great venue. A new LA sports
mecca is born. Downtown is really the way to go for any new Arena's and ballparks. Gotta get the fans access. Only problem here is ticket prices but that's not really new, is it? If you can't afford the big time, I recommend single A baseball.

I've had the pleasure to experience Madonna, the Lakers, and the Clippers here. I've sat everywhere from the floor, to the box, to the last row in top level behind the hoop. And I've can pleasantly say that no matter where you are, you cannot be disappointed.

I got lucky and scored some tickets for Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. I had seats at the top but they were great! The seats are forward enough so you still have a great view. I could see who was courtside without binoculars. This venue is great and I don't miss the Forum at all.

I've been to Staples more than a few times for Concerts and sporting events. You're always in for a great experience in this venue. The view is great from wherever you sit and the audio qulaity has nothing left to be desired. Howerver, parking and concessions could be pricey in this well built facility.

This is the place to go to watch the Lakers (or Clippers when they are playing well). It is a fun place to be, and does not contain any annoying fans with cow bells. The Lakers will continue to decorate this place with more banners over the years!

There is nothing like actually going to the game with friends...watching on TV is not the same. Yelling at the other team's players is much more fun than yelling at the TV.

There is a large selection of food, though some could be better.

Be careful where you get tickets, you don't want to be stuck in the nosebleeds or too way off center.

Staples will never replace the tradition of the Forum. but it's still a amazing arena. it's huge so if you are at the game bring binoculars. I really enjoy going to the Staples Center for a game. There's plenty of room for the crowds and the lines at the concession stands aren't that bad. There really doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Granted I've never been there for a concert, but all the sporting events I've attended have been fantastic.

This is one of the greatest arena's around to watch any sporting event or concert. The experienced I've had in the past is down below at a Clippers game. Although I had a seat in row 6, I took a tour although the way to the top (nosebleed sec) to see what kind of view I would have, and to tell you the truth the seats arent really that bad considering the price. I would recommend any to visit staples for good seats, friendly ushers and a great selection of food which is pricey although somewhat reasonable considering the fact that you've came to see some of L.A. biggest stars even more when you come to see the Lakers.

This is a great venue to see concerts or basketball games. I've had great seats and nosebleeds and they've all been worth it. There is also a great variety of food - my only complaint is you have to walk around the whole stadium to figure out what all your options are. Also, the parking is ridiculously expensive so try to find a cheaper lot a couple blocks away.

Even if you're not a Laker fan, it's hard not to like the team's home venue. Big but not too-big, the stadium retains a sense of intimacy. You don't have to be Jack Nicholson to get a decent ticket here. The worst seats in the house, still offer a decent view.
