BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! They quoted $85/hr for a 4 hour job for a total of $340 but charged me $1049 in the end. There was a $750 charge to pack 9 pieces of furniture including $200 for a TV. One expensive piece of carboard and bubblewrap.

They do not disclose the costs up front. They tell you the packing material costs only after you arrive at the other end. They make you pay before unloading your TV.

They know they are doing something wrong so they force you to sign a document that says you will not dispute your transaction while holding your goods.

THis is a very corrupt company that the govt. should put out of business

This is a real review. I question the positive ones here. They must be fake! Here is my story. I was contacted by their sales rep (Mandy) who after hearing my items quoted basic per hour charge...$65/hr, plus a small fuel charge and double-drive time. She does a good job of selling the "full service." However, as I experienced she neglects to point out that there could be possible additional "packaging fees." And, here's the catch: EVERYTHING IS AN ADDITIONAL PACKAGING FEE.

On day of the move, the drivers showed up late, 30 minutes outside of their 4 hour window. It then takes 10 min signing away disclosures (at your expense). Once everything is signed, the foreman immediately informs me that I have a lot of glass, pictures, clothes, etc and I'm looking at another $300-$400 in "package fees." After hearing about these individual charges for the 1st time ($75 to move glass top of desk), I called his supervisor "Harp" (rude and unhelpful). He told me they couldn't give an accurate price over the phone because "I didn't ask the right questions." He and the foreman say everything needs a box and each "box" costs between $15-$75. Seriously?? But what can I do, They have the client in a bind since I had to be out by 5pm. I was furious and to off-set the GOUGING ONSITE UPSELL, I moved all the "glass" items myself, all pictures, and did half the work. Regardless, my final bill was $520..... $325 HIGHER than what was initially quoted. This was for a 1bd small apartment. I only moved a few blocks away, had everything packed, did half the work, and it still took 2 guys 3.75 hours.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! You'll regret it! I plan to file a formal complaint today with the city and state so others aren't harmed. They shouldn't be allowed to stay in business with how they operate.

Note: they had their license revoked in 2007. That should be enough evidence.

We had agreed to use their services to move office furniture, computer, equipment, and other work related materials from Palo Alto, Ca to Menlo Park, Ca. After agreeing with a company representative the proceeding week to a price of $950 and a ?Not to Exceed? of $1100, the office was ready to move at 1pm on the scheduled move day. The team lead, Daryl, started complaining that the move would require multiple trips. He then presented us with a new quote with a ?Not to Exceed? of $10,000 which we rejected. He then called Mandy, who we had negotiated the pricing with. He then handed the phone to me. I told her that we would not agree to any new pricing and she then asked to speak with Daryl. He then came out of the office and asked me to sign a new agreement with a ?Not to Exceed? of $2500. We said no. He then came back a few minutes later with a new blank agreement and asked me to sign it. I refused. I then suggested that I would sign the new agreement only if we clearly wrote the following terms on it: the quote of $950; the ?Not to Exceed? of $1100; that they would not use any additional packaging materials unless I approved it. We called Mandy again and she said that we should just change the agreement to include the quoted price. I handed the phone back to Daryl. I then clearly heard Mandy tell Daryl the following, ?Just get his stuff on the truck and then he is stuck.? I immediately spoke up and Daryl then said ?He heard what you said.? When Daryl got off of the phone he said that he could move our office in good faith and said that he ?was an honest person.? The remainder of the move was without incident.

What we are seeking
We would like to see Jet Lines Moving reimburse us for the total cost of the move which was $1450.

In my opinion, out of all the moving companies that I have used (and I used quite a few) I would definitely say I had the best experience with Jet Lines Moving. The move went extremely smooth and there were no troubles at all. I didn?t have to worry about anything! These guys are pretty damn good at what they do. They, without a doubt, did a much better job with the move than I could do on my own and they did it super quickly. Great job guys. Appreciate it

They promise you everything and Never do anything. There is lady name MANDY, she is the worst of all, she talks great till you pay your initial deposite and after that all she says the terms changed. Dont waste money and time with them.

Jet Lines Moving. I am not going to lie. These guys have helped me out TONS! If I didn?t use them I would probably be spending a fortune on my moving services or have to settle for crappy service and have all my stuff broken, but these guys have always got the job done and they are very trustworthy and reliable, at least in my book. I haven?t had a problem with them ever in all the times that I used them so that should tell you something about the company

I'm the type of person that moves every couple of years, so I tend to use moving services rather frequently. For the most part, I have had bad experiences, but jet lines turned that all around! These guys were amazing in every sense of the word.
1) They were on time. Previous movers were late, and some ever tried to charge me for time spent driving to my house. ORI was there on time, bright and early in the morning, with smiles on their faces. They were even getting started before they knocked on my door!
2) They were honest. I had arranged for a friend to watch them while I went to the bank, but I felt I could have trusted them anyway. When they noticed something may have been broken, they came to me, instead of hiding it.
3) Speaking of broken things, In the course of moving, the leg of my couch broke. To start, they admitted to it, before moving the couch into the house, and while my heart raced with dread about how I'm going to handle insurance, they offered to fix it on the spot. Stress. Gone.
4) They were friendly and professional. I don't know how they did it, but they smiled the whole day, and worked hard. They moved a 2 bed apartment from a 2nd story unit to a 3rd story unit, and it didn't phase them one bit!
5) Its the little things that matter. They cleaned up after themselves. I never asked, but if they found plastic wrap left around the house, they just picked it up, and threw it away for me. Similarly, they plugged in appliances, without even asking. It's not one of those big things that make or break a deal, but it tells me they care about the customer, and are paying attention to detail.
And to top it all off, the final price was less than quoted. They earned a generous tip from me. I would recommend them to anyone, and would use them again.

RED FLAG #1 Jet Lines Moving was late with my delivery. Terrible responses when I called about my delivery date.

RED FLAG #2 All boxes were supposed to be labelled with numbers. Many didn't have labels upon delivery & it was hard to get an exact count of my items that were taken off the truck. The delivery guy ended up counting certain items (a little garbage can) to make the number come out correctly.

RED FLAG #3 THE BIGGIE. Paid movers in cash w/ a very nice tip. Right after they left, I realized something WAS MISSING! I had a large area rug that was rolled up with other items stuffed inside. I immediately called the mover, but he wouldn't come back! Said he would check the truck at his next stop & see if the rug was there?IT WASN'T! Wasn't in the truck, wasn't in my house, yet it was on the truck when they packed me up.

Immediately complained to the company & was told to submit a claim. They said that if the amount the claims dept offered me wasn't enough, they would see what they could do. Turns out the claims dept offered me NADA. Jet Lines Moving came through with a LOUSY $50. $50 in exchange for me paying over $2000 for MY move, plus tips!, & plus the inconvenience of having to submit a claim and a loss of an $1200 area rug.

Jet Lines Moving even asked me to forgive them for this, as they knew they had screwed up, yet not willing to step up to the plate and do the right thing. What an insult!! To make matters even worse, the $50 came with a condition?I would have to sign a waiver that said I would not file any complaints about them/write reviews about them on the internet. Obviously, I chose NOT to accept the $50. For your own good, stay away from these creeps.

Found these guys on line... the best moving company we have ever used!!! Mike was extremely easy to talk to and very accommodating.
All 4 guys came on time and got right to work! They made moving so easy, and came with a great attitude! They were extremely careful with our stuff and we did not have to baby sit them, like we did our other movers in the past! I highly recommend them! They are a bit pricey but oh-so-worth it... we went with a cheaper moving company in the past, and ended up with a lot of headache PLUS spent more time and money after trying to fix their screw-up. If you go with them, you will never know what could possibly go wrong!
