I've had quite the different experience with Susan Gardner ,Estate Sales , than the woman that was informed that the sale was closed until the next day... While I haven't used her company , serveral of my friends have and without exception they all were pleased to recommend her to others. On numerous weekends my brother & I went to estate sales in Oakmont , and our experience was always a positive one , regardless of the fact we were buying a large piece , small ,or not making a purchase at all !! I seriously doubt that the incident went down like stated by summerskys27, because it definetly doesn't reflect my experience !! C. Cooke

Today my boyfriend & I spent our day off driving the backroads of Sonoma County when we came across Susan Gardner Estate Sale in Graton. Since we both enjoy finding treasures and unique pieces at estate sales we were game for what this had to offer. \r\n\r\nThere was about 5 other parties there when we pulled up at 2:50pm The outside had patio furniture and several yard art pieces we were curious about. We noticed many things were priced pretty high (including an iron bench we were looking at for $495). We spotted two iron shelves, took photos on the iphone & emailed to my mom to see if they would work for her house. I had her on the phone as she was waiting for the email when Susan came out and told us they were closing and to come back tomorrow. I told her we were from out of town and explained we were considering the shelves, she went inside told a guy (her husband?) there's two people out there that arnet listening to me. He came out and told us, you need to leave we are closed. I told him, my mom is tryin to load the photos i sent to see if she wants the shelves. As my mom was asking for the size of the shelves, he snapped interupting my phone conversation to say they were closed and we needed to leave. \r\n\r\nI told my mom, nevermind, the guys is rude and kicking us out. As we walked through the house to leave, we noticed there were 8 other people inside the house waiting to pay and wandering around .... \r\n\r\nWe were prepared to buy the shelves, and possibly the bench had the measurements worked. After my experience with a ""Susan Gardner"" Estate Sale, I will not return as i will NOT support rude, obnoxious individuals who have forgotten that the KEY to sucessful business (expecially in a recession) is treating your customers with respect.
