Makoto Takashina & Associates is a professional architectural firm committed to quality design. We have been in practice for 30 years in the San Francisco Bay area. We have designed residential (moderate to high-end), commercial offices, restaurant and other types of new and remodeling projects. We provide complete architectural design, construction documents and construction contract administration services. We also provide project feasibility studies, code analysis and negotiations with agencies and neighbors as may be required. We have become known for providing unique and diversified design solutions to meet our clients specific needs. We work on any and all styles. We seek harmonious design solutions with the site (natural or urban), translating our clients' requirements into architectural forms in the most appropriate, environmentally sound and economical manner. Green building (ecological and sustainable) design has been a part of our integrated approach. We also have expertise in humanistic design for people with disabilities.
