Avl Moving Systems

I moved with AVL moving systems and they did fabulous work. I am very much impressed by their work and would recommend them for those who want to have a tension free move. At first I was very much worried about my items that could get damaged while shifting, but to my surprise all my items were shifted safely and not even a mark was found on them. I would strongly refer this moving system

We were about to sign on the dotted line to have them help us move. We were amazed at how quickly they showed up to give us an estimate.

We then did further investigation, and realized this organization changes name frequently to avoid detection.

I believe that the other 58 positive statements about AVL moving have been created by their staff. The ones we found that are truly evaluations about AVL Moving systems are quite the opposite of these 58 complimentary statements. Note their website changes name when you enter it in, and links to a closed site.

Day of the Move:
1) They arrived very late so it was into the evening.
2) Truck was unmarked.
3) Paperwork they wanted me to sign was from another company: All United Van Lines
("it's just paperwork and this is our sister company").
4) By the time they'd finished wrapping EVERYTHING possible with cardboard and tape, they presented me with a bill for $2,500 JUST FOR THE WRAPPING. This was 3 guys for about 4 hours and 80% of the packing was already done!
5) Refused to unload the truck when I refused to pay more than my BINDING ESTIMATE and got physically threatening.
6) They drove off after getting my credit card number. It was either that or they were going to take all my belongings to storage and start charging me $250 a DAY!

Two days later they let me know that I was "OVERWEIGHT". They ignored the "BINDING ESTIMATE" they'd given me. Just said it wasn't valid. Now they wanted to charge me $6,800 for the move ON TOP of the packing charges. One conversation with the owner resulted in him screaming at me on the phone and making more threats about putting my goods in storage and charging me.

Day of Delivery:
I had a police officer present at deliver so they couldn't use physical intimidation.
I managed to negotiate the driver down $800 after a LONG argument. It was either pay or he was going to drive away and put my stuff in storage 3 states away and start charging me $250 a day. Police could do nothing because THEY HAD PHYSICAL POSSESSION of my property.

The boxes were smashed up. Terrible packing job. Worst of all, they did not have on the truck our most important furniture piece: a large expensive china cabinet. The trucker showed me paperwork that showed that he never loaded it and told me to call the main office.

I've now called the main office 10 times. Sent email. Send letters. They claim no knowledge of the furniture.

This was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Research will show you (as it showed me later) that these companies: Win Van Lines, R1 Movers, and All United Van Lines are all fronts for the same scam artists. They know that once they have physical possession of your stuff, you're done for. They pulled every nasty trick in the book to jack up the price. They were abusive. They were a nightmare.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! They are VERY good at what they do: RIP PEOPLE OFF.

I recently moved from San Francisco to Sunnyvale. My family is from Sunnyvale and I was in San Francisco for work. My family recommended I use AVL MOVING SYSTEMS as they had used them before. Everything went as well as possible...no damages!!!...not even a scratch. The crew was very polite and courteous. Overall it was the best moving experience I've ever had

I have heard many horror stories about moving companies. My moving experience was excellent. AVL moving systems were on time, courteous, friendly, helpful and went beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this company.

I used AVL for my move from Detroit MI to Santa Clara CA. They came and packed everything and moved all my stuffs quickly. They were so friendly through out my move. I just like to thank them for there wonderful service. I suggest AVL for anyone. Will use them again in future. Thanks, Brenda.

I use AVL moving systems company for my move. My moving was very good and no problems that were major. I got all my items with in the week. I had to move on very short notice from california to texas I found AVL moving systems..The quote was reasonable and representative on the phone gave me couple of good professional advices.The moving crew was very fast and accurate, so everything went pretty well.

AVL moving systems are best movers. I am so happy with there service. They did great job by moving all my things and they double wrapped all my Glass things and there movers were very professional and friendly. It?s a pleasant experience with them. I will definitely recommend this company.

I had the moving job scheduled with the other moving company. One month ahead and they hadn't show upon the moving date. I found AVL moving systems in California. Two Guys and Truck on City search I wish they were my first choice. They arrived about one hour after my phone call. The quote I?ve got on the phone was exactly what i paid for the move. Everything was moved to my new place without any damages, including my dinner sets and dresser. It was very pleasant experience from beginning to the end of the move.

We had an excellent experience with AVL Moving Systems of California. They responded to our last minute request on a Saturday because someone else had dropped the ball on our previously scheduled move. Mark and Steve of AVL Moving Systems were punctual and brought two additional helpers. All were friendly and courteous. These are experienced skilled movers. Nothing was damaged, and the costs were very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend them without condition.

I decided to go with AVL based out of Santa Clara CA to move me from Orlando FL to San Jose CA. Andy, a salesperson from AVL Moving and Storage, called me back and after our discussion, sent me an estimate for 2000lbs and one for 3000lbs (I thought I'd be somewhere between the two). Her rates for the move were great, compared to the other big namers (United, Atlas) I've spoken with so far. He was also able to send me a truck asap, since I called him on July 6th 08 and was leaving Orlando by July 14th. Andy was great, very friendly and accommodating. I felt very comfortable speaking with him unlike some of these folks I've spoken with recently. He passed me over to Steve, an operations manager, who was also great and was very professional. So, my stuff made it to my new house in San Jose today, on time and undamaged! A few boxes/containers had some corners/sides bent in a bit, but I boxed my fragile stuff smartly with lots of blankets inside the boxes or containers. This moving company was great.They were all very professional, took great care of all my stuff (wrapped, padded, etc), and worked fast. I highly recommend AVL Moving and Storage out of Santa Clara, CA. Well worth every penny. 5-stars. 10 outta 10, etc etc....

My Uncle was moving the family residence from California to Eugene. I found AVL moving systems and we call them for service. We were on a limited budget but my needs were met. The moving guys brought everything in one piece. I am Happy with the AVL moving systems.

Thank you very much AVL moving systems. AVL moving systems is Very reasonable rates and very good and prompt service. Thank you very much for doing my move on such a short notice. All my stuff arrived without any damages and my bedroom furniture is set up very nicely without scratches on my new flooring and they did a wonderful job.

We moved recently to east coast with the help of AVL moving systems. Those people did awesome job for moving to east coast they quote the price very affordable and they moved very quickly and smoothly. They wrapped all my items. They packed all my items in boxes. They helped me for packing and unpacking my items and I am so happy with their moving. I will recommend this company.

Everyone from the AVL moving systems staff were very knowledgeable, polite, on time, and very friendly. They helped me to move to my place. I moved with AVL moving and storage at the end of the July. It was really a good move these guys came with uniform and they were very organized .All my things were wrapped and protected very well. They brought boxes for packing and they help me to unpack and they were excellent. The whole move was neat and well planed. They were very excellent and professional. I recommend this company.
