As I was waiting in line for bagels, I found a spider in the case (near the egg bagels). I figured I'd just buy the bagels on the other side of the case since I had to buy two dozen for coworkers. I get to the front of the line and requested 2 dozen bagels and the worker looks at me (puzzled) and says no. He says that he needs to help the 4 other people behind me before he can give me 1.5 dozen, max. Since I would be lynched if I went back to work without a minimum of 2 dozen bagels, I decided to walk over to Stater Bros in the plaza to get the bagels but since I felt bad that I didn't give Bagel Station a 2 dozen bagel order, I decided to walk back and at least buy the cream cheese spreads there. I returned and asked for two spreads and he told me to wait (he was trying to process a credit card order but was having trouble with the credit card machine) ...again! I politely told him that he had already asked me to wait and that he could always finish up his Credit Card problem after he gave me the cream cheeses, especially since I was paying in cash. He finally obliged.

Overall, I just felt that Bagel Station did not have the customer's perspective. Plus, with the spider in the case, it's not exactly the most sanitary of places. With larger, cleaner and tastier bagel establishments (such as Noah's Bagel) being built in the area, if they keep up this type of business model, they will surely fail. Bagel Station, if you're reading this, I hope you take this advice: Clean up your act, physically and behaviorally.

This bagel shop has a large variety of decent bagels. The coffee is not great, but it is ok in a pinch. The owners / workers are very nice. This location has changed hands many times in the past few years, and I hope these owners can make it work.
