We moved out as soon as our lease was up and have to say that KTischkoff hit the nail on the head with that description. Nothing has changed even under new management.
When we moved in they sold the place well. It was only a few years old, so looked clean and modern, with Large walk-in closets, washer and dryer in unit, spacious balconies and amenities like a Media Room, Pool, Hot Tub, Fitness Center, Grills, Sun Deck, Fire place, etc. It seemed so much better than the luxury building we just moved out of in Hollywood?.. Then we got situated?.
Never got to use the Media Room because of people partying and abusing it to the point that this perk will now cost a $100 deposit, plus a charge of $25 every time you want to use it. Pool is small, good for hot days, but you need to shower right after because the lack of cleaning causes you to have more "stuff" on you then before you went in. There is always a constant film and dead bees surrounding the pool area. Hot Tub worked for about a month the whole time we were there. Then between the people smoking & drinking in there, the kids with diapers playing in there, and lack of cleaning, it was just a matter of time before it broke again. You are better off with your own bathtub filled with hot water and a straw to blow bubbles. Seriously. We even over heard someone tell another person who was too lazy to go to their own bathroom to just go in the hot tub because the chemicals and hot water would kill it........ Really?!
Fitness Center was very attractive. Individual TVs on the Cardio Machines, Free Weights, and some assisted weight machines. Then you go to use it and realize EVERY cardio machine (elliptical, treadmill, cycles) has an issue with it of some kind, free weights mix and match, and the assisted machines have broken cables and/or missing/broken attachments.
Grills were a selling point for us, but they are always dirty and/or broken. We lived near the sundeck, so always had to listen to people BBQ, Booze it up and party ALL THE TIME when it??s nice out. Even well past the sundeck??s posted closing time. Plus it echoes throughout the whole building, and no one wants to clean up after themselves. Some people don??t know how to operate the fireplace and always leave the gas on unlit, or just leave it lit over night like it??s going to turn itself off.
It??s a pet friendly building, which was another big thing for our dog and us. Then you realize how many other pet owners are not responsible. Urine and defecation all over the halls and stairwells, and even outside where poop bags are provided. We found out our neighbors dog got parvo twice and never walked the dog off property because they were scared of walking outside the building at night and early morning. Then you get the lovely ??quiet professional atmosphere? BS they sold. You have the crazy, homeless drug addicts who live in the parking garage across the street screaming all the time, causing the cops to show up at least twice a week, the people living out of their vans in front of the church, the lovely sound of being under the direct flight path of every plane coming out of Burbank Airport, oh an who can not forget the soothing sound of Millennium Dance Studio. With their hard pumping music from 9am to 11:30pm all week long, their clientele screaming, hanging out, smoking pot and blasting music from their cars in the parking lot. Got to love a place with a giant sign that says ??No Racism, No Sexism? yet every word out screaming out of their mouths is N**ga, and B**ch.
It??s all a faade, and more trouble than it is worth. You can try it out for yourself, but consider yourself warned and don??t say no one told you so.

We have enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and there is always a grill open for a BBQ.
Nice kitchens and in unit laundry.
Fun neighbors. Attractive grounds and building.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

The management is horrible. They lie, they're rude, inconstantly with everything.

Its overpriced for the bad service. Sure, the grounds look nice, but that is it! Bugs freely roam, they look at you crazy if you want your place sprayed. Go elsewhere. Save yourself some time and money.

Look this place up, everyone is saying the same things!

Under the soothing sounds of Burbank Airport's near-constant air traffic, NoHo Gardens' embarrassingly small pool bubbles-over with a thick, brown foam.

The intended concept of NoHo Gardens is ambitious. Open layout. Granite counters, full appliances. In-unit washer and dryer. Amenities include gym, pool, media room (additional rental charges apply). But in its short four-year tenure, the quality at NoHo Gardens has astonishingly depreciated.

Rashes and itching often follow swimming. During the hot days of summer, expect the shallow end of the pool to be filled with large, fully clothed adults and children. At night, expect the drunk.

The hot tub is more-than-occasionally covered in a thick film of dead skin and dirt. The gym smells terrible, has missing and damaged equipment, and often has machines out of order. But it has an automatic air freshener.

NoHo Gardens is operated by a woman of near-Amazonian proportion and demeanor (and French-tipped acrylics). Tenants often report lack of attention to matters not raised by her. She once disappeared for two weeks. Her staff freely spoke of her vacation to Isreal. She maintains she was ill.

Discrepancy aside, the overwork/underpaid conditions erode professionalism in the community. Management resorts to alarmist scare tactics to elicit emergency responses to non-emergency situations. This strategy may work once, (or more for children with developmental issues), but inciting panic reeks of nothing more than incompetency.

With access to all of the residents, the building's maintenance supervisor pitches tenants with his own outside cleaning service. All arrangements with the cleaning ladies (and payments) go directly through him. Cash only. Poor Quality. Shady Dealings.

Clearly an afterthought of the real estate boom, NoHo Gardens has been owned by three different portfolio Companies in the last four years. Built in 2006, the property offers Mixed Income housing in true spirit of gentrification.

The property's administration has come and gone with the change in hands, but one thing remains consistent; resident's complaints. NoHo Gardens has been subject to at least one Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) investigation. Although the source of the complaint remains unknown, the query signals to the questionable ethics of management.

It??s a renter's market out there. Go rent somewhere else.

Pros: Outdoor Grills, if you can find a clean one

Cons: Management's exhaustive games
