I find a few of the reviews on here completely unlike or even close to my experiences with Dr. Fitzgerald. Of course sometimes one needs to wait, but what doctor is that not true of. Having been to several other doctors who are experts with fillers, I can honestly say she's one of the best... A few weird things about some of the more vitriolic reviews on here. Her practice closes at 5pm. I've been there at 5 when they're running a bit late and she's seen me, but the idea that she'd offer a laser treatment at 7pm is laughable -- her staff is long gone and even the parking garage in the building is closed by then... As for her "pushing" treatments, my personal experience has been the opposite. I have often asked for "more filler" or wanted a laser treatment etc. and she will say "no you don't need that." or "I don't think that would work for you." She's often thrown in an extra treatment (most recently a quick V-beam laser on my nose, and not charged me... Look, I get how these fillers and stuff are expensive. But as reference, call around to other top Drs in Beverly Hills and you'll see her prices are if anything on the low side in this world. Finally, and most importantly, for those who DO want to achieve great results with fillers, she has a superb artistic eye and the patience to discuss in depth what I am asking about or what she's suggesting. In fact, I suspect it's this "patience" with her patients which probably tends to make her always a little late.

Recently, I experienced terrible acne break out all over my face and neck. I felt like I was in High School all over again but this time I'm 26. My skin was healthy and acne free for some time and all of a sudden BOOM!

I tried all kinds of OTC cleaners and acne treatments but nothing worked. That was until referred to Dr. Fitzgerald by a friend and i couldn't be happier with the results.

I had old acne scars (craters) which she recommended me to laser them away and now my skin is smooth, clear and blemish free. Honestly words cant express how I feel about my skin now without me sounding cocky and conceited.

I just wanted to let people out there know Dr. Fitzgerald works wonders and I highly recommend her!!

Thank goodness I finally decided to get my laser hair reduction! And thank goodness I found Dr Fitzgerald and didn't get shammed like so many places I hear about. I got laser hair reduction on my neckline now that it's all finished I never have to shave there anymore. I was used to doing it my whole life so i never realized what a hassle it was until it was gone. I look freshly shaven under my beard 24/7 now. Not only do I love the look and the time it saves me but I feel so much more confident now. Highly recommended!

Dr. Fitzgerald was amazing! I went in for a consultation for CoolSculpting and she offered to start the procedure right then and there. I've gone back several times and my treatment was wonderful. My fat deposits have disappeared and there was no pain or swelling. Definitely better than having surgery and the recovery time was nothing!

A friend recommended Dr. Fitzgerald when I was looking for a new dermatologist. So far, I'm very pleased with Dr. Fitzgerald. I wanted to have my brown spots removed and a liquid facelift. I had the brown spots removed from my hands and arms and it looks so much better. As for the liquid facelift, she is able to do things with injectables that I didn't even know was possible! My eyelids have sagged as I've gotten older. Dr. Fitz injected Juvderm under the eyebrows and completely lifted them! I feel so much more confident about my appearance since I've started seeing Dr. Fitzgerald. I cannot recommend her enough.

I saw Dr. Fitzgerald for a variety of things. My main goal is to look younger. My skin has been sagging and losing its elasticity. After an extensive examination, she offered to do a few different things including Sculptra, Botox, Ultherapy, and lasers to remove brown spots. So far, I have gotten the Ultherapy and Sculptra and what a difference! The combination of the two lifted my neck and jowls so much. I will definitely continue seeing her in the future.

Dr. Fitzgerald is amazing with Sculptra. I have been seeing her for a few years now for Sculptra, and I would never see anyone else. She does not over inject and gives you beautiful, natural results. Yes, I do have to wait, but she is a master injector with Sculptra. I feel more comfortable with her. I really cannot say enough good things about her.

I went to see Dr. Fitzgerald for Botox and Juvederm and I was very happy with the outcome. Dr. Fitzgerald was very nice with me and I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I have been to see her a few times now, and all have been positive experiences. I will definitely continue to see her for Botox.

My mom has been complaining about the brown spots on her arms and hands because she thinks they make her look old. She went to see Dr. Fitzgerald about how to have them removed. I was amazed with the results! Within a few days, the spots were completely gone! I will definitely have this treatment done when I get older! It's incredible! My mom knew there might be a bit of a wait time and just brought a book with her. It turned out the wait wasn't too long.

I went to Dr FItzgerald for some fractional laser resurfacing treatments to remove acne scars on my chin and forehead. After 4 sessions my skin is so much smoother and you can't see most of the scars I used to have. I still have 2 more laser treatments left and am excited to see the full results. Dr Fitzgerald and her staff are wonderful and she is truly and expert at cosmetic laser technology and technique.

I think Dr FItzgerald is an absolutely amazing cosmetic dermatologist. I wasn't happy with how my face was aging and a friend recommended I go see Dr Fitzgerald, and I am so glad that I did. We discussed many treatment options and decided that Botox and Restylane injections to help with wrinkles and a chemical peels to help with texture would be the best plan for my skin. It has been a year since my first appointment with Dr Fitzgerald and I look younger than I have in years. My new face has given me so much more confidence and made me a much happier woman.

A true expert like Dr FItzgerald is worth the wait to see her. She has an amazing aesthetic philosophy and I trust her so much.

I have been seeing Dr. Fitz for several years. I started seeing her for some botox treatments and fillers. After seeing the results (she is quite skilled), I've continued and am amazed at how great I look. Friends say I haven't age at all!! I've recommended Dr. Fitz to friends and family and none have been disappointed.

I went to Dr. Fitz because I was tired of looking my age. After a clear discussion, she injected me with fillers and botox. She also noted a mole on my arm and wanted to remove it that day! I was glad she did because it came back very abnormal. I get compliments everywhere I go and people comment on how good I look. Yes, the treatments are expensive, and yes, you spend a while at her office, but for me, her expertise is worth it!

I had an appointment at 6:00 p.m. I went in to explore the option of just getting botox for my forehead 11s. The Dr. finally saw me an hour later. Dr. Fitzgerald wanted to inject me with radisse, juvaderm and botox. And she also discussed the possibility of laser treatments. She wanted me to agree to do the treatments right then and there at 7:00 p.m.! Price tag $2500 and there were no guarantees that it would last more than 4 months. Now I said to myself, do I really want to be the last patient this woman sees after a long day. Nooooooo. I told her that I was concerned with bruising and lumps. She then proceeded to tell me that the lumps are not a big deal, and she then put my hand on her face so that could palpitate a lump she had. Well thanks but no thanks I don't need any extra lumps. Anyways, I decided to pass and save my money for a face lift if and when I need it. Scotch tape on my forehead at night time seems to help.

I went to Doctor Fitzgerald office 2 weeks ago for a free consultation in order to get a Botox injection. I wanted to use a filler also. She is the most adorable doctor I have ever met. Her assistant held my hand during all the procedure. She even did a mini laser session for free on me to erase some broken blood vessels I had on my nose.
I will go and see her again for some other treatments because I trust her. She did a very good job on me and that ugly wrinkle I had between my eyes is gone.

This was my first visit today to Dr. Fitzgerald. I came in for a free consultation to ask about photodynamic therapy for a small keratosis and overactive oil glands (not acne, just a few spots). I waited for about 35 min. to be brought back to the patient room. Then, another 15 min. in the room. Finally she came in. She asked me to tell her why I was coming in. I explained. She then said, "Are you done now?" I hesitated. "Yes." "Good," she said, because if you'll be quiet for the next 5-10 minutes then I'll explain everything." Then she went on for the next 40 min. about a diagram of the skin, a review of my skin, how great my skin was and how little I needed and then ... here it is, the kicker ... she spent the rest of the time selling me on skin systems, fillers, and botox. She didn't think I needed PDT, after all, if I did all of these skin systems and botox and fillers, I'd be fine. The keratosis wasn't mentioned again. Then, she wrote down the huge list of products and went and got product samples. Now, mind you, this whole time I'm only saying "uh, uh -- okay -- right" while she talks away. Then, while she was writing up the product list, she says "Can I do that Botox for you today?" "Uh, I'll think about it," I said. "By the way, I'm an actress so how would that affect my work." "Oh," she said, "well then, that means we need to just do filler, right into the bone." She went through the whole "interesting" explanation of that and then asked me if she could do it for me before I left the office. I again said I'd think about it. Her demeanor changed and she said we were done and I should take my patient paperwork to the front desk. I get to the front desk and am told my visit was a medical visit. I was blown away. I said it was a free consultation. The receptionist went to ask the Dr.. The Dr. came back and said she'd let it slide this time if I bought her $50.00 sunblock. Suffice it to say, I'm not inclined to return.

Dr Fitzgerald is one of the most respected and renowned dermatologists in the world for injectables, and Sculptra in particular. She does all of the injections herself (as opposed to many other offices where the nurses do the injections). She takes time to explain the facial aging process to each patient and treats the underlying problem for long term results. Dr Fitzgerald trains physicians from around the world in her techniques, so you know you are in good hands.

Pros: takes time to review treatment options, loved my results!

Cons: office was very busy so there was a short wait time

★★★★★

Dr. Fitzgerald has extraordinary skill as a dermatologist and is capable of getting truly amazing results.

Her staff was great as well. The whole team made me feel comfortable and treated me as a valued patient.

All my expectations were exceeded. I recommend Dr. Fitzgerald without hesitation.

Pros: Excellent skills and great staff

Cons: None

Do NOT buy all the sunblock, facial products, exfoliating brush bull. NO MATTER what you go for she pushes products. I agree with the others here, she seems to have a lot of knowledge but her priority is selling expensive products. Drug store sun block for 50 bucks??? NOTICE no matter what you say or ask for she will sell you products. Pay attention see if I'm right or wrong.

Pros: Nice office

Cons: Dr. Fitzgerald AND her staff are there to push products

I've had fillers here and there since the old cow collagens surfaced over 2 decades ago. I had my lines filled and my lips fattened up. NOBODY has ever come close to accomplishing what Dr. Fitzgerald has. Scultpra has given me a face that's a good 10 to 12 years younger than I ought to have! And lips? I get compliments all the time on my looks and I can't count the times I've been told I have beautiful lips (Trust me, not mine naturally). They are shapely, not overdone, and perfectly balanced. I FEEL younger because I know I LOOK younger. She's a definite keeper.

Pros: Most skilled injector I've been to ever

Cons: Sometimes a wait, but worth it

I interviewed dozens of Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons all over Southern CA. My family has a genetic issue that causes fat loss in the face, with major loss in the facial cheeks. I got a large variance in suggested treatments ranging from injectables in limited areas of the face to mini-facelifts, none of which would have corrected the problem. I met Dr. Fitzgerald and had an enlightening consultation that I found to be the treatment I was looking for. I have finished my treatment with Dr. Fitzgerald and to say the difference is remarkable, is an understatement. Dr. Fitzgerald corrected the problems and gave me back the look I had and so desperately wanted, before the sunken cheeks took hold of my face. She is an incredible professional that has great patient caring skills that match her professional abilities.

Pros: Experienced and Very Capable

Cons: None

THIS IS THE FIRST REVIEW I EVER GAVE ONLINE, I JUST THOUGHT I HAD TO BEWARE OTHERS. I CAME IN ON TIME FOR MY 315 INITIAL APPOINTMENT, FILLED OUT PAPERWORKS, WAITED TIL 4PM THEN I WAS TAKEN IN A ROOM AND WAS LEFT IN THERE FOR 20 MINUTES. I CAME OUT AND ASKED, THEY SAID SHE IS BEHIND AND ALMOST DONE, WAITED 10 MINUTES, STILL NO DOCTOR, SO I CAME OUT AND ASKED THEY SAID 15 MORE MINUTES SO I THEN WALKED OUT. SHE CLEARLY ONLY VALUE HER TIME SO BEWARE, THIS IS JUST AN INITIAL CONSULT. I ALREADY IMAGINED IF I WAS HAVING MULTIPLE TREATMENTS, REMEMBER, YOUR TIME AND MONEY IS AT STAKE.

Pros: NICE WEBSITE OFFER

Cons: NOT WORTH IT, MAKES YOU WAIT REALLY LONG

Dr. Fitzgerald is the only doctor I trust with my face! She is extremely professional and experienced in working with fillers. She also takes her time to explain my concerns and treatment options. I am very pleased with my results and feel really lucky to have found her! I highly reconmend her to anyone!

Queenbee100's review sounds dead on to me. I have been to see Dr. Fitzgerald a few times for different procedures. She has a decent sense of humor and is fairly knowledgeable but always acts like there's somewhere else she'd rather be and has a tactless, phony demeanor. Extremely sales-y. I put all of this aside and continued to go back, telling myself that this is LA and most doctors here are jaded and dismissive, since it's really close to my house and her rates are better than some. A WEEK prior she'd given me restalyne under my eyes but did it unevenly. I was told when I called to come back in and she'd fix it for free, which in my opinion is her obligation to me. She started talking about my lips when she got into the room and how they looked fine and all this talk about the lips and I had to interrupt and remind her it was my EYES that she had injected and that were the concern. She evaded the subject and tried to tell me i could do more restalyne in both. It's like, just fix my uneven eye bag already, please! After robotically repeating the impersonal "I understand how you feel", she finally had a moment of honesty and told me she'd "have to charge me for it", blaming the "miscommunication" on "new staff", which is especially hilarious considering that I have given her three referrals. To top it off, somewhere in the middle of all this, a male member of her staff comes in with surgical equipment and asked me "So where are we doing the biopsy today?" which was kind of the last straw for me. It's really just not worth it for me to come here anymore. I just politely left without getting anything fixed. This was not the first incident that she had no recollection of what I had been in for or dismissed my questions, but it was certainly the rudest. She's like a weird frazzled b**** on a power trip and it makes for a stressful atmosphere in that place. Gonna find someone more honest and attentive to see in the future, I'm done with this one.

Pros: close to larchmont village, newer practice so fees lower than some, Julie (laser) is very nice

Cons: Dr, Fitgerald's flaky attitude and nonexistent bedside manner

★★★★★

My visit to Dr. Fitzgerald was one of enormous education. I had the idea that some Botox was what I wanted. And being subjective in my thinking, that's all I saw that I needed. But, thanks to this woman who actually was brave enough to look at me Objectively - I left with some changes that I am squeaky happy with every single day.

(I DID get Botox for my scowl, and in the process it raised my brows and made them even. After years of being lopsided, you can't imagine what a wonderful surprise that was. )

What she pointed out that I did not "see" were the downslope of the corners or my mouth and the loss of the little ridges above my lip, plus a pinched area of my nose that I had been considering surgery for (to the tune of $8700)

She propped up my mouth corners with Juvederm - love it! She filled in the narrow sides of my nose and somehow managed to lift the tip and voila! I have a nose job made of Juvederm and guess what? Love that too! Painless and instant.

She plumped up my lips - upper and lower - and added the little columns - called philtral ridges I learned - I have a much younger and sexier looking mouth. Love it? You bet! And so does my husband. He claims I've become a much better kisser.

Then she suggested I consider Sculptra - it's been almost a year, I've had three sessions and my jowls are gone, I look younger than I did 5 year ago and and people think my grandkids are my children.

If I'd only done what I thought I wanted, I never would have known to make those choices on my own. From the bottom of my heart, Dr. Fitzgerald, Thank you for your honesty. You're an absolute artist and I am a willing canvas.

Caroline

Pros: Very open and honest. I felt like family the minute I walked in the door

Cons: None

Rebecca Fitzgerald is an amazing dermatologist and believe me I have seen my share of them. I had a persistent hand eczema and I was frustrated cause all my other dermatologists before said "it's this use that" and sent me on my way.

Rebecca actually took the time to tell me why this was happening and explained the treatment in detail including the length of the treatment and why it works and so on and so forth. She was no nonsense and could tell i was the same way. She is great and actually takes the time to attend to all your needs.

I highly recommend her!

Pros: Clean office, great atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: none
