The service at this place is horrible and management was extremely poor. We planned our company Christmas party here for a dinner of 20 people. The manager told us it would be a couple of minutes before we where seated, basically lied straight to us not realizing one of his employees had already told me the party that took our spot had not even eaten yet. Our entire company was standing outside in the cold for 45 minutes before we decided to go down the street and eat somewhere with integrity. I will NEVER eat here again and don't recommend if you have a planned out night.

Always fun, though the food is the same as a Benihana, etc..
If you like to get a little lose, they are happy to serve up Sake Bombs (beer with a shot of sake floated in it). If you get lucky enough to be seated at a table with fun people, a few sake bombs makes for some good conversation and a few laughs...

We love sitting at the teppan table for parties - the chefs are super fun and they let us order off the regular menu too even if we're at the teppan table (unlike another teppan place in San Marcos which shall remain nameless - just kidding, its Katsu and I hate them.)

shogun's is so much fun, I brought my son here for lunch and he had a blast. The chef was tossing eggs, flipped a bowl of rice into my sons hands and made a valcano out of rice. Very entertaining.
