I didn't know there was a location right by the Metreon but came out of the theater and saw it. You can grab a coffee or hot chocolate from the place next door, sit outside in the sun, and forget about saving room for lunch while you eat

Every time I go to the SF Shopping Centre I have to stop by here and bring home 3 more for my family. Probably considered a little overpriced, but it's worth splurging over the few times I do head out to the city.

I definitely like the original vanilla the best and they do rotate the rest of the flavors depending on the season.

If I had the magical power of not gaining weight, I would eat cream puffs everyday. However, that is not the case, so I end up eating a cream puff every other day. (just kidding..) Anyhow, the outer layer of the cream puff is delightfully fluffy and the filling is heaven with a touch of vanilla! GO GET 'EM!

They have a branch in the food court at the new Westfield Mall on Market Street and I tried one for the first time. It is to die for! For $1.75, you get a baseball size cream puff. The exterior is very firm, like a Boudin bread ball which I thought was a little harder and crunchier than the fluffy dough-puffs you'd expect. But inside was this delightfully creamy vanilla custard and they're generously filled. I could've eaten 3 or more of them alone but had to share this one. They also have a chocolate filled one and eclair type. I can't wait to go try the others ones in the near future.

Pros: The cream puffs are are just great

Cons: The mall/food court is noisy and very crowded on weekends, no seating.

the popovers are good, light and airy. my chocolate was a little too filled. That said, I don't understand why people wait in line for them. I wouldn't invest my money in the idea...

Pros: good pastries

Cons: not worth a wait or the hype
