Phil's Bbq Point Loma

Phil's baby back ribs are awesome! And they know how to steam veggies! Upbeat vibe. Highly recommended. Saturday night at Phil's -- anytime!

The line may out the door and headed down the street but if you can wait it out you will not be disappointed. Phil's has the best ribs in San Diego as well as some of the largest portions for such a low price.

Phils BBQ always has a long line out the door. That long line shouldn't scare you away. It moves pretty fast. the food is so good, that you will want to wait in the line. My only complaint is that you can't get your alcoholic beverages with your food, you have to go to the bar to get it. But, that is totally fine with me... the bbq ribs and chicken are worth it.

I've been in San Diego for the past four years and this has to be the best BBQ place I've been to since first coming to this fine city. Great atmosphere, HD televisions placed inside in case you want to catch the game, and amazing food. There is a bar right next to the actual restaurant, so if you feel like having a drink while you wait or after this great meal then it's a nice compliment to dinner.

Big place, always busy, and the food is decently priced. I would highly recommend for a big party or even a dinner for two. Not a great date place if you want to get close, does get loud but that's what makes it so great.

Phil's has the most amazing BBQ you will find in San Diego. The meat is so tender and juicy that it falls off the bones. The fries are also very tasty. The servings are huge and will fill you up. If you are with other people, you can share orders of ribs and get a better deal. Overall the BBQ is superb and will get you full. The line also moves very quickly so do not be discouraged by a long line. The only downfall is that you may get messy but they provide bibs and sinks and hand wipes!
