All in all a great place to eat, dance and have fun. I have been there 3 times and each time was good.

It's hard to describe e3rd Steakhouse. It's located in the up-and-coming Arts District in Downtown LA, next to Blue Dahlia. It's not a traditional Steakhouse, it's more a modern lounge/bar/fusion restaurant. I'm assuming they identify themselves as a steakhouse because they do have steak on the menu and it is, arguably, their best dish.

I visited this restaurant as part of dineLA Restaurant Week. The service was terrible. The whole time I felt like I was inconveniencing the wait staff with my presence. The food wasn't good enough to make up for the poor service, and I

Pros: The strip-club-decor like bar

Cons: New York Strip Steak

As a steak lover, this is the first time in my life I've not finished my meal at a steakhouse. I ordered the strip and it was tough, flavorless, fatty, and down right disappointing. When my friend and I arrived, there was no hostess at the door so we had to ask the bartender to assist us with getting a table. This was surprising since the restaurant was not that crowded. Even though over the course of the night we had 3 different servers, no one was ever around when we needed something. Overall, the experience was memorably bad. The food was overpriced and so awful we ate later that night at another restaurant. On the positive side, the decor was contemporary, there was a dj spinning cool tracks, and the bar had a decent crowd.
