Z-Best Hardwood Floor

Davis and his wife are wonderful. We had only a short time to complete the floors and they did a fabulous job. They are very honest and straight-forward and they made sure that even though the time was tight they did not compromise on the quality of the floor installation. They are a pleasure to work with. We chose them based on the great reviews they have and we definitely would highly recommend Zbest for any hardwood floor needs!

I contacted Davis after reading these same reviews and found that he was just a professional, and I'll add patient, as the other reviews state. My wife and I had our hearts set on a type of wood that is used less often and Davis arranged to get it for us through his suppliers at a good price. He encouraged me to see if I could find a better price online, but after a couple of hours of searching I concluded that I could not. Davis' estimate on the work ended up being very accurate in terms of the quantity of materials needed.

The Z-Best crew did a great job installing the floors. They were prompt, courteous, open to suggestions and requests. Our home's floor had developed lots of squeaks over the years due to the use of thin plywood. The guys tracked down the offending squeaks and took care of them. They were very professional.

We just had Davis and crew do floors for a guest house year after they did the main house. Once again, superior service, excellent work, and some great suggestions. They show up when you expect, and exceed your expectations. They'll be doing our floors as long as we're around.

If you love hardwood floors, this business is for you. I am spreading the news because they deserve it. They come, they give estimate, and they deliver; or should I say "they floor." They did one of our apartments. The floors are old and I was considering the new installation but Davis talked us out of it and saved us thousands of $$$. Instead his crew replaced old , ruined parts and refurbished the whole apartment. It was done in a fast, economical way.The apartment looks great! And they are nice poeple, too!

After reading all of the reviews, we only had to make one phone call and that was to Davis at ZBestHardwood floors. We called Hanni on Sunday, met Davis on Monday and they were ready to go on Tuesday. The floors were done by Thursday. He was on-time, easy to reach by phone, and responsive. And the floors have gone from shabby to chic in less than 72 hours. Honest man, good business, glad to have worked with him.

OK - Its clear they are ZBest. Have you ever read so many great reviews? I refinished my floors myself a few years ago and they looked OK (= pretty bad). We finally decided to have them redone and WOW! we never thought they could look so good. Like a great dessert you don't want to eat. Davis is a really nice guy and a real pro.

This is the 3rd floor that Z-best has done for us, and I have yet to see another floor that surpasses Z-Best in look and craftsmanship. Davis is a nice person, who does what he says and when. The price is fair and the work is exceptional. We will continue to use and refer Z-Best.

The communication was great and the job was done very quickly. I highly recommend them. I contacted Davis and Hanni after reading all of the reviews on Insider pages and have been impressed with their professionalism and excellent work ever since. Davis gave my husband and I every option he could think of to possible salvage existing hardwood floors, but when we uncovered the original floors, they weren't in the best shape. We went to plan B, and Davis again brainstormed on what the best option would be. We ended up installing new hardwood in the kitchen and sanding and staining existing hardwood in the adjoining dining room and the results are amazing. You absolutely cannot tell the difference between the two rooms and they both look gorgeous. We did a complete remodel of our kitchen and, while I love everything about my new kitchen, the floors are my favorite part!

Davis (the owner) is a true professional...but I MAY SUE HIM! WHY?!? ...because my floors now look like they came from a PALACE so now my wife wants to REDECORATE to match the palatial floors! I'm going to seek damages to my wallet if that happens. LOL!

Spend your bucks wisely, let Z-BEST raise your property value! One day it's grinding and reeky sealers, next thing you know you are standing on glass! STUNNING results! Go Z-BEST!

My experience with Z Best was wonderful, they were actually the 1st and only Hardwood Company I called. After talking to Hanni over the phone that 1st day I new I didn't need to look any further! Z Best refinished and stained our floors beautifully! Davis the owner came and gave the estimate, he really impressed me with his knowledge of not only the wood on my floors but the entire wood through out the house. He suggested what stained would bring out the beauty of the oak and at first I wasn't sure that was what I wanted. I trusted his judgement and let me tell you I am sure glad I did, the floors came BETTER then what I thought they would... Thank you you Z Best! We are extremely satisfied customers!

Davis and Hani were extremly helpful and worked in my floor with less than 24 hours of notice. I live in a diferent state but they were able to meet and exceed my expectations. Although I have not seen the fllors myself, I was told by my property manager that the floors look outstanding. I recommend Zbest to anyone and will continue to use their service in the future

Davis did a spectacular job with refinishing my hardwood floors and installing new hardwood in one room. I live in a 1907 craftsman home. Half the floors were under carpet and also needed repairs. With very little notice, Davis scheduled us in and completed the job as promised at a very fair price. VERY honest, reliable, excellent quality. We were away while the work was being done and Davis e-mailed us pix of the work as it prgressed. Highly recommended.

I tried to refinish my own floors and botched the job. Davis came by, checked the place out and his crew came out the next day to start the job. It was finished within three days and the results were beautiful at a price I could afford. I was impressed considering how warped and uneven my floors were. I would say if you have wood floors hidden underneath carpet and are considering tearing up the carpet and refinishing the wood hire these guys and go for it.

Z-Best has done work for me in the past and I've recommended Davis to anyone who has expressed an interest in installing or refinishing wood floors. My wife and I decided that we wanted wood floors in our house, so of course we called Z-Best. Their response was immediate and they took the time to show us multiple samples and explain the process and what to expect.

Z-Best workmen are professionals who show up on time and know what they're doing. They did a great job!

I highly recommend Z-Best if you want professionally installed real wood floors at a competitive and fair price.

We highly recommend Z-Best Hardwood Floor Company. Their price was reasonable and they explained in great detail the process involved, something other companies did not do. Recently had two other companies did hardwood floors for us and Z-Best was far and away the best in performance, friendly attitude and willingness to listen to the customer. Also, they were always on time and could be reached when needed.

Z-Best has provided excellent service to me several times over the years at very reasonable prices. Davis has re-done my hardwood floor 3 times always leaving us more than satisfied. In addition, he provided a complete job by re-installing my base boards, leaving us a complete look. I have referred him to anyone interested in hardwood flooring and all of my friends are more than willing to give their recommendation as well.

We were moving in 10 days and suddenly realized we needed to refinish our floors. It was after normal business hours when I called and spoke to Hanni, the wife of the excellent husband and wife team. At 10pm Davis (the husband) came to the house and gave a detailed estimate. He did not try to oversell or stretch us beyond our budget.

In addition, Davis was nice enough to remove two small walls and patch the areas for free...

You can't go wrong with Z-best. They take pride in their work and are good people. Davis and Hanni work very hard, long hours and can you believe the crew got the job done in 3 days! The floors look beautiful---and the baseboards too.

After working with contractors that did substandard work in the past, we were very fortunate to find Z-Best. From the beginning, Davis was very informative, provided truthful and honest advice and suggested ways we could save money without sacrificing the quality and look of the hardwood floors. Our floors came out great and far above our expectations! There were no hidden costs or unexpected surprizes. we just bought a house with flooring that is not the best quality. lots of pet stains. david and his crew did a great job of refinishing and staining so that we didn't have to spend extra money repairing a floor that was ultimately beyond repair. they look great and the stains are unnoticeable. thank you for your honesty, consideration and timliness.

My floors were old and I thought there was no hope for them. Davis assurred me that he could make my floors look great. Davis came thru. The one thing I liked most about Davis was that he was honest. I just added on to my house and dealt with a number of contractors that promise something and never seem to deliver. Davis was able to come thru and was easy to deal with. Davis made sure the job was done on time and in a professional manner.

From the very beginning, Davis and Hanni were such a pleasure to work with. They spent time with me to determine exactly what I wanted and did exactly what we discussed! They were always available to answer the multiple questions I had. My floors look absolutely amazing! What a difference they made!! My 50 year old floors look brand new!! I would highly recommend them!

Z-Best resanded and refinished my 10- yr. old maple hardwood floors and they look like new again. They completed the job in 3 days and the floors are just beautiful beyond belief. Davis and his wife are so friendly and trustworthy. It was so nice that I felt like I could trust them after one meeting because I was on vacation while my floors were refinished. I highly recommend Z-Best because they gave me the least expensive quote, with the most excellent service. I couldn't be happier!

Talk about making what could be an unpleasant experience actually fun and enjoyable is what happened with me when I had Z-Best do my hardwood floors.
Davis came out, told me exactly what he would do with my floor and how he would do it. The other places that I had gotten quotes from, were just going to cover up an old warped floor that surely would creak and moan with every step. Davis took out the old floor, fixed the sub floor where neccessary and put felt on the sub floor to keep it from creaking all for the same price as the other places to just do a cover up job. Davis and his wife were very friendly and actually enjoyable to talk with and deal with. They took their time to explain things to me to make sure I understood. With other places, I felt like I was bothering them because I asked them to come and give me a quote.
I highly highly recommend Davis and his wife. They are both kind and they really care about doing a good job for you. They treat you as family.

Davis and his company were available to begin the job of repairing and refinishing my hardwood floors right away. Davis conducted an onsite inspection and provided honest recommendations on the best and most cost effective methods to repair and refinish my floors. His crew completed the job in less than one week. I needed to have the job completed a day earlier. However, Davis strongly recommended against taking any shortcuts as the quality of the workmanship would have suffered. I'm glad I followed his advice. The floors look beautiful now and I'm quite happy with the job they did. Great job Davis!

We had the hardwood floors in our living room, dining room and hall refinished, and they look great. We needed repairs done where the furnace had been and a couple of other places, and they blended in so well, you can't tell where the repairs were made. Z-Best was very reliable and professional and the prices were good. I would recommend them highly.

We can't recommend Z-Best Floors highly enough.!! They did our living room, dining room and hallway all of which needed major repairs. He replaced all our old molding. All of this was done quickly and at a very resonable price. We are thrilled with our beautiful floors and the elegance they have added to our home.
Davis is friendly and very professional, and all his workers are extremely hardwording and very polite.

Z-Best does quality work at a very resonabe price. They are very courteous and professional. They do not try to sell you something yhat you do not need. They re-did the floors in one of the units in my duplex in February 2005, and I was so impressed by the quality of the work, the service, and the price, that I just had them refinish the floors in the other unit of the duplex, the unit that I will be living in.
I am being very critical when I say that my only complaint is that the workers did not point out all of the bad flooring that I would liked to have replaced. If you are anal like I am, you will want to go over the floors with very carefully once they have been sanded to find all of the flooring that you will want to replace.
I would highly recomend them to anyone who wants quality re-finishing or repairs. They will not sell you more than you need.

CONS: Customer has to rely on himself to find all flooring that needs replacing

Z-Best Hardwood Floors does excellent work! They are reasonably priced and did extra work at no increased cost to us. They have a very friendly and efficient crew. Davis Zeituni did everything that was promised and did it well. The floors we asked them to do were very old and had never been refinished and they came out beautifully done. Look no further, this is the place you want.

They are one of the few complete hardwood flooring people who repair and refinish your floors from subfloor and up. You often can't expect that from the average flooring places.

I had to renovate a 50's cottage where there was good hardwood floor to refinish and large holes in the subfloor needed to be repaired after removing in-floor heaters. When Z-Best was all done, we could not see where the holes once were!

The installers are also really nice guys that take pride in their work and that is rare nowadays.

davis is an amazing person!!!!i am so glad that i used his company to install hardwood floors in my house. when i needed someone to install hardwood floors in my house immediately, i called at least 3 or 4 contractors and most of them are over price and wont be able to finish the job on the day i'm supposed to move in the house until i called davis' company. he gave me a great deal and was able to finish the job on time!!!!!! when i encountered a problem on my floor, due to the warm weather, moisture, the wood expanded, etc., i called him and he went to my house as soon as possible to assess the problem. as soon as he was able to find out the cause of the problem, he sent his guys that day eventhough it was past 5pm to fix it. i highly recommend this guy and a pleasure to have business with. so anybody who wants a new hardwood floor, sanding on their floors, Z Best is the BEST!!!!!!!

We recently hired Z-best to install hardwood floors in our home. We were anxious because this was our first time working with a contractor, but Davis assuaged our fears with his knowledge and exuberance. He helpfully suggested several options to fit our budget and taste and explained the pro's and con's of each.

Davis efficiently manages several crews of workers and was able to start right away. We were impressed by his courteous, punctual, and professional crew. They finished on time and in budget. Our new floors look awesome!

Z-best did a great job on our floors. If you ever have any questions during installation, Davis is easy to reach and resolves matters quickly. He's also hilariously entertaining, never short of opinions, and an all-around jolly guy. Most importantly, he takes great pride in his business and this shows in the quality of work and service he provides.

We got 5 quotes and Z best was the only company that provided us with a portfolio of their work. They also came highly reccomended. Suprisingly they came in the most affordable too! They started our job the very next day and worked every day until our floors were not just done but absolutely gorgeous . Davis the owner was in touch every step of the way and would come out regularly to check on the work. You cant go wrong with this company !!!!!

We met with several companies and decided to go with ZBest because of the way the owner, Davis, treated us. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, professional.

My project was not only challenging but also on a tight schedule. Within 5 days of calling, Z Best provided a proposal, scheduled and completed the job.

Their pricing was excellent and their work was top notch.

The owner was personable and honest in his assessment of the work.

The owner went above and beyond to fix areas not covered in the contract at no additional charge.

I would recommend Z Best without hesitation.

I thought my circa-1949 oak floors were toast. (I am selling my house and they have to look good.) I called several places, and the estimates were about the same. I chose Z-Best because of Davis. His great, can-do, up-beat attitude and willingness to really EXPLAIN things to me was exceptional. He assured me that my floors were not bad at all. When I returned to my house after the job was done I was absolutely amazed. My floors are satiny smooth and glowingly beautiful!!!! He did EVERYTHING exactly as he had promised. My realtor was very pleased and asked for the company name. He has been in business for 25 years and knows a good floor job when he sees one. I would recommend Z-Best to anyone looking for a quality job at a great price with very friendly no-hassle service.
