.

I live around the corner from this little gem; and I frequent this place at least once a week for family dinners, or just the small bite after a movie.

They serve traditional Mexican food, and their menu even has options for the vegetarian! I had never before tried these pork tacos they serve there; but I intend to make up my "pork less" time over the next year. The pork tacos I am talking about are different than anything else I have ever seen. They first take pork that kinda looks like shwarma on an open rotisserie and they put a pineapple on top of the pork and roast the whole thing in front of a fire. The result is a flavorful moist taco with a savory pineapple "salsa" - it can't be beat; and I think that I could eat like 8 of these tiny wonders of food!

I can say the same thing about the rest of their food from the chili relleno to the carne asada plate it's all authentic and all great, cheap food.

I can't say enough about this place - go - and see for yourself!

Pros: Pork Tacos, Cheap Eats, Open Late, Yummy for my tummy

Cons: They're not open on Sundays
