Vallarta Supermarket

Vallarta is a great place to shop for produce and fruit. Their pricing is much cheaper than our neighborhood grocery stores. And if you scoot your way to the back of the store to the fresh butcher area, ask the butcher to give you 1 1/2 lbs. of marinated boneless chicken thighs. Grill those babies and get ready for the best tasting chicken you have ever grilled!!!!

I'm so glad that Vallarta opened in Newhall. Their produce prices are a fraction of what you pay at the mainstream grocery stores. They appear to use less preservatives, so you have to inspect your fruit and vegetables a bit more carefully.

Great selection of produce for a good price. Make sure to buy the carnitas. Very tasty. Large selection of meats and fish. The beans and rice are excellent also. It's a fantastic market. I highly recommend it.
