They are not about the people coz if they were, they would ask if we needed any refills which they didn't, they would have picked up the empty plates that have been sitting around, he would've asked if we were "ok", if we needed anything

I agree with Melanie C. (see previous review) when she says that Barrio Fiesta food reminds her of "home cooking." I have fond memories of this restaurant when I was younger living in the Philippines. Now you can have the same foods here...

I love the kare-kare (Filipino beef stew in peanut sauce) at this place. The kare-kare at this place reminds me of home cooking. The sinigang (Filipino soup, sour in taste) is also delicious. It is not overly sour or bland. They have the sourness down pat. The staff is friendly and efficient as well. I love this restaurant even back home. I am so glad that they are well-loved here too.

I recommend this place to anybody who wants to try Filipino food and want it to be an authentic experience.
