My husband hired this company on several occasions for small jobs because he liked the plumber, Ali. Thinking that he had a relationship with the company, he placed an order again. The fee was agreed upon over the phone and all went as planned. But the next day their accounting deparment called my husband asking for payment over the phone by credit card. My husband asked them to be invoiced as he did not have a credit card and had recently changed banks. The lady immediately became argumentative and angry. She said a $150 late fee would immediately be assessed and she would file a lien on our property! When he explained that their one day late penalty was never disclosed verbally or in writing, she hung up.

Earlier today, I was pumping gas at the Arco on E street by the 5 freeway and I witnessed a very interesting event happen. There was a lady there, blocking a gas pump while the entire station was full and everyone was trying to get in and fill up. She obviously was waiting for someone to come in and use the pump, all the while she was on the phone yelling at someone. A van from this company finally shows up and proceeds to try to squeeze in between cars while shes signaling to him that hes clear. I saw the van scrape a car that was pumping gas and she didn't even flinch as she continued on the phone. It wasn't until the owner of the other car went up to them that she acknowledged what had happened. She tried to get away with not giving the proper information to the owner of said car. She told her driver to leave and when the owner (male) of the car stopped the driver from leaving, she started insulting him and the woman he was with. It was really awkward to be standing so close to that. She started calling the woman a fat, old, ugly b**** and then she turned on the man and called him an ugly fat-a**. She then proceeded to calling them both ugly, fat taco eaters, while videotaping them on her cell phone. She kept going on and on about her $500 cell phone while videotaping as if it meant something to this couple. Maybe that money can be used to buy herself some class and manners. Clearly, this couple was Hispanic, as was the "owner". It makes me wonder if she doesn't like her own race. Not only was she insulting them, but then she goes and throws water at the poor mans face, threatens him with pepper spray, and laughs about it like a petulant child! Of course that wasn't enough, so she turned on her driver and started calling him names and telling him how stupid he was and what a bad driver he was. I didn't stay very long so I don't know how everything turned out but, if you ask me, that is NOT how a president and owner of a company should act in public, if at all. But if you ask me, I wouldn't advertise being the owner and president of this company after displaying such behavior with so many people around. I know I saw a few people videotaping on their phones. I wouldn't want that video to go out. I hope those people sue her. Respect isn't given, Mrs. President and Owner, its earned.

I was initially satisfied, despite the EXTREMELY high price, until 2 years later. During the course of a remodel, the sewer pipes that Ali had installed were exposed. To our extreme shock, the most expensive part of the job was not done at all! I could see rust from the old cast iron lateral fitting that we paid to have replaced with plastic. After this enraging discovery, which is by now holding up the remodel job because the pipe is now rusted through, I initiated a conversation with Ali to correct the situation. During the first part of the "discussion" Ali offered to do the rest of the job for the going rate of $1200 (as if he thought we would pay him again). He had charged us $3200 for that section! After much discussion - mostly finessing from the field supervisor, the job was finally completed to our satisfaction. Sadly though, the dirt wasn't filled back in, but was left in a pile on the sidewalk. The city inspector threatened our contractor with a $500 fine because the dirt was too close to the storm drains. Our contractor filled in the dirt and removed it from the sidewalk at his own expense.

Homeowners don't have the time or inclination to check up on the entire process of a big job, but we trust the company to have integrity. It is a sad day when such dishonesty is discovered. It then unfairly casts doubt on every honest plumbing company. It is fraudulent business practices like this that gives honest plumbers a bad name. Shame on you, Ali.

Cons: I paid for a job that was not done

He arrived on time, even though I called late. He was very professional and told me up front what he expected and added the possible blind spots. He took care of our immediate problem and made recommendation to prevent future problems from that source. His price was better than the quote I got from a previous guy. Overall, great knowledge, courteous, and quality. EXCELLENT
