I live right down the street from this place, and I had to try it when i got the coupon on my car. I had their regular coffee, and was surprised. I thought that the coffee would taste different with the healthy infusion, but it was just a great cup of joe. This has replaced Starbucks as my Saturday morning walk to get my fix!

What a Find!

My fiance' & I are visiting LA from Texas and we are coffee lovers through and through. The first day we found a hoity toity place that had too much fluff to their coffees. (won't mention any names)
We stumbled across this neighborhood coffee shop and immediately fell in love. Today is the second day we are back here to enjoy a strong & delicious cup of coffee and one of the tastiest helpings of oatmeal with flaxseed granola EVER!
I highly recommend stopping by the WeHo beanerie if you're in the area.
Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Simple, and Great Service!
Cons: Hmmmmmm, can't think of any.

I am a coffee lover and a medical doctor so you can imagine my delight when I found out about The Healthy Bean thru a friend whose a coffee lover herself. Healthy Coffee? - That sounds too good to be true! Trying hard not to be a skeptic, I knew I just had to try it. The store is trendy and very clean but the first floor was somewhat cramped. The second floor was cozy & private (great for meeting a friend or to simply hang out). The baristas were very friendly and the coffee - well, that's a different story... wondering what all the hype is about, I was pleasantly surprised to find the taste so smooth. Usually, there is an "aftertaste" when you add "stuff" like antioxidants & protein into organic foods but this coffee was to me, definitely notches above Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Seattle's Best. It is NOT only good-tasting coffee, but HEALTHY! Just what the doctor will be ordering! I can't wait for more stores to open in my area. I discovered their website (type in "thehealthybean" ) & will be buying coffee for home brew online for now. More power to this store!!!

get healthy with coffee

I was pleasantly surprised! The coffee itself was pretty good, but the iced stuff was great! And I was bouncing with energy afterwards, more than just a caffeine high. Hey, might as well get the anti-oxidants and vitamins in something I drink every day. The service needed some adjustment, but I suppose that's to be expected. I highly recommend the product!
