Went to swim here on a Spring Break trip to Coronado with my family and was barely aknowledged by the front desk staff, except to take my money and pointed toward the pool. When we arrived outside there was no one in the beach entry kiddie pool and a water aerobics class was being conducted, as we were putting sunscreen on our three young children we were told that they were short a life guard and would have to wait 20 minutes to swim because there was no lifeguard to watch us even though there were TWO lifeguards within 10 yards of us...20 minutes to a kid is an eternity, especially when they are the only ones in the pool! 2 of my three children are great swimmers and are being supervised by their two parents, totally excessive to make us wait for our own individual lifeguard...while we waited my 6 year old had an umbrella fall on her and almost impale her, then we were hit with a special $6 swim diaper that we had to purchase because the swim diapers we had on our son were not acceptable to the facility. The rules just kept coming! When we were finished swimming I was told there are no deck changes when I changed my 2 year old son from his swim suit into some shorts, I laughed as my son had a shirt on that kept him covered. We were leaving at this point so I dont know why they had to go out of their way to tell me this, they said it was so I would know for next time, THERE WILL BE NO NEXT TIME. Way to many interactions with lifeguards at this facility to pretends to be family friendly but in reality needs to hand you a set of pool rules before you pay them and needs to use some common sense and good judgement with lifeguards whose function should be to assure your safety and well being at the pool not inforce excessive rules.

.

Our wedding was here summer 2009 and everything was great. the location was perfect, especially for our out of town guests. We looked at many reception sites and this could not compare for the price and view you get. Booking the reception room was very easy and simple, which was great since we both work a lot. One of the perks was was that we could bring our own alcohol in (huge price difference from hotels) and our caterer, Martino's Catering took care of everything else. They have done many weddings here so everything was smooth and easy. I highly recommend this location.
