Cindy Wade at Armando - A Joshua Christopher Salon

If you have short hair like I do, then you know how hard it is to find someone who can cut your hair and not give you a "boy" cut. If you are lucky enough to find someone who can actually give you a great short hair cut, you grab on and hold tight! I just found that stylist, Cindy Wade at Armando Salon! Thanks Cindy!!!!!

For the last year, Cindy has cut and colored my hair every 5-6 weeks and I have never felt better about my hair! Cindy listens to her clients and makes sure they are happy with the style, whether it is a new cut or a trim. Cindy always makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I would recommend her highly.

Cindy is a true artist. Her calming presence is very much appriciated and it reflects into the confidence of the work she does. Best hair style and color in Orange county and LA for that matter.

I have been coming to Cindy for almost a year now as a newbie to OC. I have been to many stylists nationwide and no one compares with Cindy's talent and confidence. Going to her is like having a personal stylist. By far the best experience I have ever had in a salon.

I found Cindy via citysearch a year ago and have now been to her 3 times. When I first saw her, she immediately understood exactly how to color my hair in a beautiful copper-red that I had in childhood, a color that few colorists have ever achieved, including the best haircut I have ever had. I live in the DC area or I would be flying out for every appointment with Cindy..she makes a huge difference in my apperance with her expertise and nobody back in my area has ever done such a fantastic job on my hair. She is also has of the nicest personalities one could ever find in a hairstylist. I hope I can find a great airfare so I can fly back soon for another appointment with Cindy--she is truly that good!

This is an easy review for me to write. Similar to other stories, I have gone to numerous stylists for years in So. CA without finding someone I like and stuck with for more than 3 app'ts. I initially found Cindy based on her reviews on CitySearch at her other salon after she came here from Michigan. Clients still come to see her in Orange County from Michigan because SHE IS THE BEST. I came to Cindy with damaged, brittle, orange hair that was so over-processed by my last stylist that it was scary. Cindy fixed it all! My hair is now soft, shiny and one nice brunette color! No more orange! I have fine, thin hair that I have never been happy with it until now - I can run my fingers through my hair with no more knots and tangles with wonderful color. Cindy Wade is the only stylist I go to now; finally, no need to keep looking, she is the BEST. Armando - A Joshua Christopher Salon, where she is now, is a very nice, pleasant environment to have your hair done. Everyone seems happy to be there and in a good mood.

Pros: Best OVERALL stylist.

Cons: I don't know what I would do if either of us moves.

I'm from Chicago, where top rated hairstylists are surrounding you. I was VERY concerned moving to the OC, not knowing anyone, almost prepared for how many stylists I would have to go through before finding one that would become MINE. I've gone through it on every move I had, and dreaded the disasters that I had to go through before finding the right one. I have thin and fine hair. One mistake with a haircut, and I there isn't any hiding it. I have a specific color of blond, that many stylists just don't understand. My hair is fragile, and I can't be over-processed. I am very picky about "no golds". When I met Cindy on a random appointment, I was VERY specific about my type of hair, and the type of color I wanted. She listened, but so did every other stylist that I went through on other moves. When it was done, it was EXACTLY everything I wanted. After learning all of this so quickly about her and having so much confidence, I allowed her to try new cuts and styles without blinking an eye, and they were all just perfect. While out, I recieved compliments on my hair all of the time... and I never had that in my entire life. In the end, when I was so appreciative, it was almost like it was "no big deal" to her. Years later, I know why. She is constantly continuing her education. The real bonus here, is that she is such a sweet person, and a pleasure to spend time with. She was my first stylist, and LAST in the OC.

Have you ever looked into the mirror, right after your hairstylist performed the finishing touches to your long anticipated new do, and said to yourself, " WHAT THE ..........?" Well, if you're finally craving a new experience, all together, and desire more, from your hard earned money, then please allow Miss Cindy Wade to work her magical skills on you! I moved here, from PA, almost 4 years ago, trying to color my own hair with some of the cheapest over-the-counter products you can imagine. I literally damaged my hair, from the tender roots to the dried out ends, not to mention, obtaining a bright yellow colored appearance. That's when I decided to let go of, the pedicures and the manicures, so I could prioritize my money to satisfy my greatest need.....HEALTHY BEAUTIFUL HAIR. I met Cindy, 2 years ago, as she was starting her new career, out here, in Sunny Southern California and I must say......She's the BEST OF THE BEST when it comes to color, style, updo's....etc! And all for a reasonable price!! Her passion for hair is definitely portrayed thoughout your entire experience at A. Joshua Christopher Salon...Cindy takes time out to explain to you about the PRODUCTS she'll be using, the STYLE she'll be implementing and the COLORS that she'll be mixing, in order to get you the ultimate look you need and derserve. I constantly get compliments, wherever I go, about my hair color and the fact that it LOOKS NATURAL! That definitely speaks for itself!!! I get excited, now, when it's time to get my hair done because I get to experience Professionalism at its best, in an amazing resort style salon that serves delicious lattes!!! I went to Armandos for the first time. They put me with a stylist named Cindy Wade. From the minuete I walked in the door I felt very welcome. I sat in Cindys chair, and she was very friendly, and professional. She gave a new haircut that I had been wanting to try, but was always afraid to cut my locks. Because of her confidence, and her consultation, I had the guts to take the big step. It was amazing. I also wanted highlights. I have been highlighting my hair for a couple of years, but never really got the look I was striving for. Well, I have to look no longer, Cindy gave me the perfect highlights I had always been looking for!!! I highly recommend the salon, and defineately recommend Cindy Wade. Best experience!!

I was reffered to Cindy by a friend. I met Cindy at her new location and was amazed at the whole experience omg I got a vanilla latte it was yummy but
Cindy's hair cut was the best I've gotten in a long time I even fell aslleep so I was comfertable. I Also got my color done I don't usually color my hair but Cindy assured me it would compliment my cut. I truly am extrememly happly on my new look. I look 15 years younger!!!
