.

I was looking forward to lunch since there was a King Taco down the street. Unfortunately/fortunately, I didn't have any cash but I was starving. As I was about to walk back to my office I smelled carne asada. Intrigued by the scent I ended up at a place called Taco Real. The owner (Manuel) recommended I try the Alambre (grilled green pepper, onions, carne asada, bacon and Oxacan cheese). I was in heaven with the hand-made tortillas and delicious Horchata water. It was so great I went back the following week and tried their famous chicken al pastor. What surprised me more than the excellent service was the fact that the ingredients were organic and that they even used extra virgin olive oil. I've never had a more delicious healthy Mexican meal and I was brought up with outstanding authentic Mexican food except those were not very good for me...lard and all. You have to try this place but hurry before the L.A. Times ruins it with an excellent review and their prices skyrocket.

Pros: Prices, health consciousness, music, sevice...

Cons: Place is small. Not too much room for sitting.
