I have been going to Chris at Studio Sola for a long time and have to say, she is amazing as a colorist and wen I do cut my hair (usually 3 to 4 months) I always leave happy. Chris never cuts my hair to short (I think she secretly likes hair long). She is funny, interesting, and knows what's she's doing.

I have followed Chris to her own studio because I have tried many different salons in San Diego, and I have found her to be the best. I am very pickey/obsessive/obnoxious and she delivers each times. When I decided to do big changes to my hair, Chris is really sweet and patient even though I'm neurotic about my hair. Las time I wanted bangs but I was scared to get them, she first cut long layers in the front then long side swept bangs, then long bangs then short bangs, instead of chopping the hair all off at once because I thing she new I would have panicked. I have been going to her ever since I have moved here. I trust her with my hair so much that I have sent my mother in law to see her and she too has became a loyal customer.

Tuck away in an office building in a gem of a hair studio is Chris. All my freinds go to the big hair factories in town {you know the ones}, but they're always asking me where I get my hair done. Chris the owner, cuts colors and styles my hair and is fantastic. She provides a nice balance of listening to what I want and injecting her own creativity to make it a great cut and color time and time again. Ive been going here for five years now and will continue to for a very long time. You must give her a try!.

I have never been easy to please when it comes to my hair, not until I found Chris. Chris is a true professional who really cares about my hair and that is not easy to find. So many large salons are impersonal and cookie-cutter. Chris is independent and treats her clients as individuals She listens and does not impose her own ideas of style on your head, but rather decides what will work best for you. As a colorist, she has an artistic flair with the final outcome feeling healthy and natural. Her products are superior. I alway receive many compliments on the color and the cut. I have been to many salons and Chris's sense of color and style are the best I have ever experienced.

Before i even jump into any review i wanna say christine is by far the most friendly and talented stylist i have ever known(and this im saying after just 2 visits).I checked the reviews and went to her for the first time for yuko hair straightening.She did a great job!!! It was then i understood why all her reviews said this place was highly recommended.She is totally friendly and u r bound to feel really comfortable.I had a little problem after my first visit.I got worried and called her about it and her immediate cool response was to gimme another appointment asked me to come over.And she fixed it right away.She is really sweet,I higly recommend her,the price is soo right and its really worth it with her..

Chris rocked my hair today! She squeezed me in because I had such a hair emergency, she made my hair look So good and shiny. My hair looks healthy, it feels amazing. And she even made time to fix a hair cut I got last week from someone else. I look so much better and I love my hair. Chris is so worth it. Call her, seriously, When was the last time you loved your hair this much.

I moved to San Diego and tried a number of different hair stylist and was unsatisfied, Chris was recommended by a coworker and I am so grateful for the recommentation. She is an exellent hair stylist an a great person. I would recommend this salon to anyone who whats a great haircut and color in a freindly professional salon with great service anytime.

Christine is the best. Not only did she do a fantastic job, she is nice and fun to be around...and, most importantly, her rates are very affordable ( if anyone tries to charge you more than $400.00 these days for Japanese Staightening you don't need to go there) I highly recommend her.

I let my hair grow for about the last 9 months. I started doing my own color which started looking pretty bad. My boyfriend made an appointment with Chris which I guess he thought I needed a new look, after he found her review . My regular stylist had gone on maternity leave. Chris totaly fixed the mess I had created. I've got a new sassy look and really love how I feel. I look forward to my next appt.!! Go see her you will really like it, and her price are the best in town.

Chris is your girl!!! Color, Extensions....you name it, she's awesome. I have been going to Chris for over 2 years know and couldn't be happier. I recently had her add some extensions and I can't believe how good they look, She's a pro!!! The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Check it out, definitely worth the visit

Chris came in to my hair's life about 12 years ago. As my long term hairdresser was moving out of state, I needed someone new, someone who cared, someone who my current hairdresser and I could trust. Chris, at that time, worked for my hairdresser. We decided to give her a try. And I've never looked back. Since that time, Chris has become my friend, confidant, and most importantly, the only person I will let touch my hair.
Over the years, I've had subtle changes in my hair style. I've always let Chris lead the directions in those changes. I've always approved and been very happy with the results. Chris washes, cuts, and colors me every 4 weeks. I'm at that inbetween stage of colors... but only my hairdresser knows that for sure.
After every appointment.. the compliments roll in. I've referred many people to Chris over the years. And will continue to refer many more people as the situations arise.
If you're looking for a relaxed environment, great conversation ,fun time, and an exceptional hair experience, Chris' Salon 10 is the place. You will be treated with great respect and be treated with a wonderful cut, color, trim, wash, perm or whatever it is you are needing.
I think one thing that also stands out at Salon 10 is the respect Chris has from those in the same building. The comraderie is evident as they are always stopping by to say hi and laugh. And Chris includes you in those conversations, and introduces you to everyone, no matter who they might be. I loved watching her set up Studio 10 to make it fun and relaxing for her clients. She always asks your opinions and values everything you say.
Talking with Chris is like spending time with a family member. One who truly cares about your experience and what you think of her work. I recommend to anyone to visit with Chris and let her take over your hair.
She'll work with you and around you. You'll never be sorry you did.

I've been going to see Chris for about a year now...she truly does very nice work. I have had wonderful haircuts and colors with her. She is fair, honest, and very dedicated. For example, she spents a significant amount of time getting the cut just right....and one time when it wasn't to her standards, she insisted that she do it again, with no charges of course. I can always get an appointment with her, even when I call last minute. Very pleasant lady....extremely personable and polite. Ive been all over to those chic salons and Chris knocks them all out of the water, hands down. You won't be disappointed!

I was shopping at the mall and saw this woman with the best haircut and color... I asked her were she went to, and she said Chris at Studio 10. I had to check it out myself...and am so glad I did!. She gave me the best haircut and my hair color is just what I wanted, and I can not believe how amazing I look. I have not had that many compliment in my entire life. I just let her create and I am truly a NEW WOMAN!!!. Thanks a million Chris I am a follower for life.

I'm a student visiting from Illinois. Having spent a whole winter doing research. I decided to atleast have a nice gorgeous California haircut before I leave. Since I originally came from Taiwan, I am VERY skeptical of going to American salon. So I planned on going to Moga salon by Mitsuwa. Unfortunately it's TOTALLY booked! Since it's my last day in SD, I decided to just go with whatever. After reading the other's review about Chris I decided to make an appointment and just go with it. When I first arrived I was kind of worried, Chris doesn't look like the hip/chic looking hairstylist I'm used to in Asian salon. She.. just looks like a mom.. someone probably my mom will go to in a family salon shop. But her personality totally won me over the next second. Very welcoming, very nice an warm. She gave me a really nice wash, then proceed to cutting my hair. I told her I have naturally curly hair that I really hope to have a cut which it wouldn't be so fuzzy and untamable all the time. I also told her I always go back to Taiwan each year to get the Japanese staightening for the past I guess 8 or 9 years now. But since I couldn't make it back this year, I'll just settle for a cut. She then started cutting..A LOT..I was worried again.. After she's done cutting I was so sure I might cry, it was too short I think. Then she started styling/drying it. Next thing I know... I don't even recognize myself! Can't believe how much a hairstyle can change you! it's soooo cute!!! I was VERY VERY PLEASED. After landing in Chicago, My boyfreind and bestfriend picked me up and they BOTH were shocked at how someone who never would cut her hair that short afraid the natural curls will go wild actually can have such a cute hair cut! So I stayed in Chicago for the next day took lots of pictures thinking that after shampooing it that night, all the nice style will be ruin and I won't know how to dry it like what Chris did. BUT!! IT STILL DID!! that's how good it is!! highly recommended!

Absolutely the best experience in a salon! Christine did a Yuko for my very thick, curly hair and I couldn't be happier with the results. I recieved so many compliments about how soft and shiny my hair looks! As I got older my natural curls started going nuts so I knew it was time to change. I called many different salons, very trendy name recognizable ones. Their prices were OUTRAGEOUS! I found Christine when I googled Yuko and San Diego, I decided to go with her after speaking with her on the phone, she was so patient, informative and kind. My experience in her salon was fantastic. She is a great conversationalist and has a maner about her that is so warm. She is the only person I will trust with my hair. I have been to many other salons and none of them compare to the service she provides.

ONLY PRO'S HERE!! NO express (5min) haircuts here...lol I've already recommended CHRIS to family and friends. Chris was GREAT. I wanted something new and different especially just having come out of a relationship. It was long overdue. I had been growing my hair and have had the same dull style for so long. Never having colored it or received a haircut I liked Chris was exactly THE RIGHT PERSON TO GO TO. She LISTENED to what I wanted and made WONDERFUL suggestions that was fitting for me. I LOVE my new hairstyle and the color of the HIGHLIGHTS she suggested. Got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! ;) BONUS got styling tips.

I can't even remember how many years I've been going to Chris. It must be getting close to ten years now! My mom found her first, actually, and so I went to her simply because my mom was going to her and told me to "give her a try". Lucky for me. I did. I live in Los Angeles now because I'm an actor and I have tried to find a stylist in the LA area so that I wouldn't need to drive to San Diego for hair appointments, I went to very expensive stylists in Berverly Hills, I went to people recommended to me by friends, I went to stylists I read about in acting books.....and found no one who cut and colored my hair as well as Chris. I consistently get compliments on both her cuts and color. I've even gotten compliments from hair and make-up artists on sets of acting jobs. And even when I'm not sure exactly what color or what type of cut I want, I walk out looking fabulous! Chris has a talent for helping me find new looks that compliment my face, personality and lifestyle. I make my appointments on Saturdays and drive to San Diego when I need my hair done because it's worth the trip!!

I have been going to Chris at Studio 10 for 4 years now but she's been doing my mom's hair for years. I think I was in high school when my mom started going to Chris for help with her hair (Don't ask how many years that's been, its just been a long time). Chris is a miracle worker and I will go to no one else besides her - even though I live in Palm Springs. Every 3 months I make an appointment and take a little vacation to my home town. I love the felling done with highlights and a haircut - I feel like a movie star. I have longer kind of thick hair (with highlights) and my mothre has VERY thin hair (that Chris colors) - we both have wonderful results wen we leave. And she takes walk-ins for simple bangs trims cuts. Chris even helped when my mother was going through breast cancer (with hair and mentally). She was so caring and helpful with my mom during this hard time. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Chris to any and everyone. She's so fun to talk to and the time just flies by when I'm there. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! And with gas this expensive, I wouldn't waste a drive like Palm Springs to San Diego for any ol' hair cut!

I would highly recommend going to Christine for any hair services you may need. I have been going to her for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Sometimes I am in a mood for something different and she will guide me in the right direction. Most of the time though I want my usual and alway leave smiling. She is also great at guiding you in how to keep your hair the way you want it. She watched me go from dark brown to salt & pepper to mostly salt now and never once sugested I dye it, and I have gotten more compliments on my hair including the color after leaving her salon. Without a dougt, if you are new to San Diego and want a stylist to keep and not keep trying different ones and getting disappointed, I suggest you give Christine a call. Plus she is a great person and very personable.

Chris has been doing my hair for approx. 10 years. That in itself says something for her ability to do a great job. She does a cut color and highlight for me. She is one of the few people that you can trust to do what YOU want & not what they think should be done. Chris is readily available to fit into my schedule & will stay late or come in early to accommodate me. She is very honest on what will look good & what won't. A new person coming to her will feel @ ease immediately. Don't worry, she will do what you want and more @ a very good price. This is a good example of try it, you'll like it. If and when she moves I will really be up a creek to ahve to find someone else I can depend on and trust.

Christine has been styling my hair for five years now. I had been to many hairdressers around San Diego and never went to one more than twice. One day I really needed a haircut, and I chosed Kensington Salon right out of the phone book based on its location. Lucky for me, Christine was the hairdresser who had the opening that day. She has moved to Studio 10 since then. I had never colored, highlighted, or permed my hair before, but I trusted her. She has been highlighting my hair for about four years know and does a great job. Christine takes her time to do your hair and do it right. I have never felt rushed. She always dries and straightens my hair, which I love. She is flexible and does what she can to fit you into her schedule. I also enjoy Christine company during my appointments. She is personable and very funny to!

Christine is excellent at what she does. I went to her to get the Yuko Straightening system. Not only did she charge a fair price, but she did an amazing job! She is very nice and knowledgeable. Her flexible schedule worked out great for mysusy one.

Chris has years of knowledge and experience behind her and is amazing at what she does.She takes her time to make sure she completely understands what her client wants and carefully achieve each of their desires. She did the Yuko Straightnening process and it was more than I ever expected. It was great and I would consider myself a new fan! Not only did she do a great job at the actual process and with the care of my hair. but, she was willing to work late for me and squeeze me in for an Appointment. Her skill for what she does is undeniable. Plus she is so funny! Got to her and have all your needs and wants met!

Chris is both talented and delight! I visited Chris after searching for a stylist who would listen to my suggestions and make great recommendations. Everytime I visit Chris' salon I walk out feeling and looking great.

I came to Chris a few weeks ago after a horrible dye job my roomat had done and she worked wonders. Not only was she helpful and took my needs into account, but she is also a very affordable and an open minded stylist. I love my new look and don't know what I would do whithout her.
