Back in the day my friends and I would go here on kareoke night and have a blast. This bar has been around for decades. It reminds me of Cheers where everyone knows your name.

i WOULD GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT 5 STARS IF IT WASN'T FOR THE COLD BARTENDER THAT OPENED UP ONE BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY AFTERNOON A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.
But this bar definitely rates 4 stars easily. For 3 good reasons:
A) the west end of alameda does not have a good lounge without the fireside lounge.
b) The place is beautiful , with good drinks , wine and beer
c) The main bartender, I don't know her name is very knowledgeable and makes a great drink , plus has a great personality

Cons: Sunday bartender
