I'm barely writing a review, but I got my hair cut a few months ago. I truly loved how Jasmine cut my hair. I had it at shoulder length, and I asked her to work her magic. Since I didn't really know what I wanted she based the hairstyle on the shape of my face, the type of curl and who knows what else. She listened and payed attention. She gave me a modern, hip and very stylish hair.
After her, I've gone to other "curly-friendly" salons, but they don't know what the hell they're doing. I've proven it, JAZZY KNOWS BEST!! I'm letting my hair grow again so that Jasmine can fix it.

Jasmine brings creativity but w/your name on it. I was avoiding getting a haircut because I'm new to the area and didn't know who to go to. Like most great businesses, it was word-of-mouth that got me to her salon. I was shocked by how Jasmine told me exactly what she was going to do before just doing it. She made it very clear and then did exactly what she said. I've never had such an amazing experience getting a haircut. Jasmine is great, as a person as well, very inspiring.

So...here it is.....
I just recently found Jasmine and was extremely happy with the highlights and cut she gave me. What I needed was more of corrective color, my hair was totally messed up, and Jasmine did an amazing job, and explained the whole process, step-by-step. Let me tell you about her shampoo that was the most amazing thing. She turns the lights off in her studio, and only leaves one lamp on and a water fountain, so all you hear is water and soft music while getting your scalp massage....this was amazing and so what I needed. I am hooked.

Being in the industry I am very picky when it comes to getting my hair done. I had one girl for a long time but she moved away and I have been running around ever since trying to find that perfect place again. Jasmine did an amazing job with my color. She really took the time to find out exactly what I wanted, unlike some of the other salons that just do whatever they want whether you like it or not. I am so happy with my color! I can finally stop looking for a salon! :)

I was simply amazed with how much knowledge this woman has, and how she explained the whole process, step by step. I felt very comfortable, and the end result was amazing. HEATHER IS AMAZING! I love having Heather do my hair, she can always design the best look for me! I think she is very professional and makes me feel very comfortable. She styles, cuts, colors and does Brazilian blowouts. I can express what I want and she is great at making it happen. The salon is very upbeat and fun. Heather has great positive energy toward her work and clients! Love your work, Heather!

I came here for a hair weave by Amber. I have gone to Amber in the past, just once for a haircut and it was A+ and on point. Recently I came in on a Saturday to get a weave for my upcoming SECOND WEDDING. My current husband I got married 8/31/2009 without family members present so we are having another wedding 6/13/2009 and Amber is aware of this.

Prior to coming in, I explained to Amber that I would be needing help picking out the hair, color etc since this was my first weave ever.

She suggested that I go to a hair place near by and talk to a friend of hers that sells various types of hair. I went to that place first and I looked at the hair but was still unsure about the hair itself. I contacted Amber and explained to her that I am confused about the hair and I don't know what to get. So I go back to see Amber for a second consultation and she suggested that she go with me to pick out the hair and I agreed to that but it was all up in the air. She never set a time or date. She was really busy but never followed though on taking the time to go with me to get the hair. Actually if she was smart, she would have said, since this is your first weave, I will go get the hair and set it aside for you because you don't know what you are doing.

So once again I was on my own looking for hair. So I bought the hair which I thought matched my hair because my hair is highlighted and two different colors. So she puts the weave in and I turned out looking like a skunk! I explained to her that I did not like it, I actually cried because I looked crazy! She was even telling her next client to tell me how good it looks which was super LAME! She said she could take it out and make it all one color, but I would have to come back on a Tuesday for her to take it out.

My total was $300 for this whack weave and I gave her a tip of $20.00 on top of that which was stupid of me!!!! . Next she tells me she can switch the colors but it would be $100. What a rip off! She must needed some rent money! Let's keep it real! That is ridiculous! I am telling you I do not like it, you are going to make me wait 3 days to take it out! That is lame. So I left the salon, went to see another hair stylist the same day and she charged me $50 to take this weave out!. When I walked into the other shop to have it taken out, the stylist almost died!!! She said what the hell is this? this weave is not blended, she said look at my hair.. I have a two different colors and you cannot even tell. She said Amber took a long track of blonde hair and just stuck in the back of my head! The stylist that took it out suggested that I go back to Jazy hair that same night and let Amber know that I want a refund.

So I go back to Jazy hair and I spoke with Amber. She was not willing to give me my money back, but she was willing to give me half of it back! She said she did a lot of work to put it in and it is not her fault that I picked the wrong color hair!

I'm sorry, you know that it is my wedding weekend and I have never gotten a weave before, you should have been more accommodating and helping me pick out the hair. She claims she strives for customer satisfaction, but if that were the case, she would have stayed until midnight fixing that weave and not make we wait 3 days. I work in a professional office; I could not go to work looking like that!

Do not go to Amber. She does not value or honor your business AT ALL!

In what universe does the stylist have to hold your hand when you buy hair for a weave? Why don't you do your own research? Go on the internet. Grow up! According to you, YOU chose the color and the hair, and you have to live with that! Seems to me that Amber put in all the time and labor on that bad hair that YOU bought! I mean, whose fault was that? And then you want her to throw all of her other clients out , stop everything and take out the bad hair that YOU bought, right then and there?
And for free? Why? Just because you are getting married? You cannot be serious! And how completely selfish! What should the other scheduled clients do?
Just wait until you are happy with the bad hair that YOU purchased?

After I moved to LA, it took me AWHILE to find a hairstylist that I would keep going back to. I am soooo happy that I found Jasmine because she always gives me a great hair cut, can ALWAYS fit me into her busy schedule, and makes me feel like I'm her #1 client. I can always trust her judgement when I'm looking for that new look. I always leave her salon feeling like a brand new person!

She is so wonderful at what she does because my hair maintains its great look as it grows out. Don't you hate it when you think you got this great hair cut only to realize that it doesn't look so great after you wash your hair and try to style it yourself? Well, this has never happened since I've been going to Jasmine.

I've been going to Jasmine for 4 years now and I don't ever plan to go to anyone else.

This was my first time going to Jazy Hair and I loved it. I went for the Japanese Hair Straightening and received an amazing job. The process was long, but Jasmine made me feel very comfortable and was very receptive to all and any questions I had about the process.

I left there feeling great and my hair has never looked better.

I've been getting my hair done by Heather for quite some time and have gone through a number of different styles. Each time I want a new and fresh look, Heather brings ideas and suggestions that best suit me and my style. She has a great personality and is so friendly. AND, she listens to me intently when I try to describe what I want and don't want my hair to do unlike some of the nightmare stories we all have. We always have interesting conversations and before I know it she's brushing me off. I almost feel like I've gone through some therapeutical session.

One of the coolest things I like is after my hair is done, Heather takes the time to show me how to style it myself and even suggests products that work best to do what I want it to do. Doesn't hurt that she's hot too. :P

Oh, and might I add how wonderful the rest of the staff is? It's always a fun and entertaining experience.

I have just recently moved from Orange County and needed a hair stytlist that I can honestly "TRUST". It is extremely important that stylists listen and I cannot tell you how happy I am with my hair. I have met a stylist that is not only genuinely friendly but also listens to her customers on what results they are expecting. I came in with "disasterous" hair and walked out looking and feeling like new! I love everything she did and can trust Jasmine with my hair anytime! THANK YOU JASMINE! See you soon!

I'm so glad I found Jazyhair!! LIANA was amazing with my hair, she didn't take long and I could come back to see my baby girl at home in just 1 hour, they have great customer service, very clean place and beautiful decoration, I felt very confortable, not plastic, very warm atmosphera!! Amber was very nice and friendly all the time!! My husband was my first fan, he got very happy with new look, Liana is very professional and knows what she is doing,Thanks again! I highly recommend to everyone!

Jazyhair is the best salon I've been to. The decor is very tasteful and relaxing, the music is always soothing and their are computer terminals at each station for internet use while you are there. Most important of all, Jasmine, the owner, is an amazing hair stylist. I've used her for 10 years and always she does a perfect job. This is a salon that does equally well for both men and women. If you try it, I think you'll become a regular customer. She's also open on Sunday, which can be very convenient.

I recently moved to the area and desperately needed a new hair stylist. I found Jazy Hair on citysearch and decided to give them a call. I spoke to Amber and asked if anyone at the salon cut dread locks. She cheerfully replied "I do! when would you like to come in?" Surprisingly, an appointment was available the very next day. We had a consultation and I received the best haircut of my life! She even gave me bangs (which can be difficult with dreads). Amber is so warm and offers great advise. We looked up hair care products on the laptop at the station. I look forward to my next visit for cut and color, I definitely recommend this salon, and especially Amber. Thanks for a gorgeous cut!!

I was extremely happy with her work, as she was working on my hair, she was explaining step by step exactly what she was doing.. I am going back and sending my doughter to see Jasmine too.

I'm so glad I found LIANA @ "Jazyhair"!!! She is AMAZING! Very talented, professional and definitely knows what she's doing. I've got the most beautiful highlights l've ever had!!! My hair is long and before I came in it looked like a mix of dark roots-blonde-old highlights-yellow..smtng like that. But Liana, somehow she just managed to turn it to beautiful, perfectly highlighted, shiny, healthy looking hair. She just knows how to work with the color. And after the cut and blow-dry I looked at the mirror and couldn't be happier! AWESOME! Thanx to Liana!
And the salon is great! You get all the attention there and feel relaxed. Love this place & higly recommend to everyone!

I highly recommend Jazyhair Salon. Jasmine cut and permanently straightened my hair exactly the way I asked her to do it. They are extremely accommodating and make sure that you are comfortable during the whole hair styling experience. My hair looks exactly the way I asked her to do it, if not better. I was nervous because I was going from one extreme hair style to another, but it turned out great.

OMG!!!!!!! Last week I had my hair and makeup done by LIANA @ JAZZY HAIR! This girl is amazing! I never knew I could look that good. She transformed me from level 1 to 10.

I went to Jazy for a trim on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. The woman who cut my hair (Jasmine) did a great job and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Afterwards, I went to a bar with friends who were all very impressed with the haircut I had received. I used to stuff a hat on my head as a matter of convenience, but I'm actually very proud of the way my hair looks in public since going to Jazy's.

What a great experience at Jazy Hair! Jasmine rocks! So, what brought me to Jazy Hair?

My old hair stylist was good but she never returned phone calls so after two weeks of calling for an appointment and waiting, I ended up at a salon with rave reviews on citysearch about how great the person was with hair color. I think her friends were writing all the reviews. This woman did not know how to work with dark hair. I ended up brassy/orange with yellow highlights.

Needless to say, I had to get my color corrected. I found JAZY HAIR and made an appointment with Jazmine after explaining the botch job I got. Jazmine took my appointment on her day off! She looked at my hair outside in the sunlight as well as indoors and then we sat down for a few minutes and looked at hair color swatches. We picked two great colors that would blend and cover a lot of the orange yellow base color and toned my highlights to the most beautiful ash blond and ash brown!

All day long I've been getting compliments on my hair color and the few people who saw it before Jasmine fixed the color were amazed at the difference!

I love my new hair color and my new hair stylist! The salon itself has wireless computers to log in on and play online while you get your hair done! It's clean and the music wasn't obnoxious or too loud either. This salon is a real gem in Sherman Oaks!

I have a very busy schedule so for me to take the time to go to a salon to get my hair done is a very rare occasion. Thanks to Amber and her flexible schedule, I would still be walking around wearing hats to cover up my (not so cute) hair style underneath. The Jazy Hair salon is the first salon that I've gone to that will allow you to check your e-mail or (Myspace) page while getting a relaxer. While sitting in the salon chair you can pull the Dell laptop computer that's convieniently located on a stand that swivels around to your chair. Meanwhile, Amber brings me complementary ice cold mocha coffee from the refridgerator. As I mentioned earlier, I don't get to the salon often therefore, I needed the works. Saturday I will be celebrating my 40th so needless to say I definately needed color treatment. After Amber applied the chocolate brown color to my hair, she moved me over to the "steam" chair. I said this dryer isn't on and she said "oh no that's just a steamer to help penetrate the deep conditioner into your hair" I was like wow...now that's pampering at it's best. I'm also very perticular about cleanliness and restrooms, when I finally had to take a potty break I felt like I was in the restroom at the Fourseasons hotel, very clean and fully stocked with all of the amenities. Well thanks to you all for allowing me to bring you into my wonderful Salon experience. Even though I didn't get the privilage of meeting Jasmine the owner, I have the utmost respect for you for allowing me to have such an amazing salon experience after such a long day at work. So to all of you out there, if you have a busy hectic schedule as myself, please take the time and stop by Jazy Hair on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks and treat yourself to the best salon experience ever. You won't go anywhere else!

Ive been going to Liana for my hair services from my colo/cut to extensions. She is an amazing person with an amazing talent. The best in whatever she does. Did I also say she is a perfectionist. Jasmine is the best stylist I ever had. When you sit down with her for a consultation, she really listens and asks questions so that there is no confusion. My highlights and cut are amazing, I have very thick hair and she handles it with ease . Her work is true work of art.

I came into the salon apprehensive because ive been ripped off, and the last haircut or should I say chop-job was horrible.

Not only did Amber dye my hair the perfect color to compliment my skin tone, she also fixed my previous hair problem and made it PERFECT!! Thank you Amber, and I will be back!!

Amber is a surgeon with her razor!
I had a total faux pas with another stylist who not only burned me but also gave me a cut that even my honey told me he would pay anything to have corrected.
Amber corrected the problem. She gave me a relaxer and took the time to watch for the mistakes the other stylist made. She cut my hair exactly like I wanted! And this was my first experience at this salon and with Amber as my stylist. I am now set for life.
Thank God for Amber. She is amazing. The salon is beautiful and her hands are certainly blessed.
And she even gave me a little make up to cover up a burn.
Amber is an asset and I am so glad to have her now on my team.

All the elements of hair styling, make-up and waxing can be learned in school, it takes a true artist to be able to apply them. Throw the art in with the most friendly, kind, conscientious and overall wonderful woman and there you will find Nicole Lagrange at Jazyhair, Sherman Oaks, California. My experiences with Nicole have always been 100% positive! My hair has been blond with extensions for a long time. This past year my former stylist began over-processing my hair and my extensions weren?t lasting as nearly as long as they should have. With that, my former stylist gave me the runaround about not being able to color my hair dark because I would never be able to go back to blond. I knew Nicole from her waxing me and asked her about the truth to all this. She sat and consulted with me about my hair, my extensions and my color and YES, I would be able to go dark AND go back to blond if I chose to one day. So Nicole began to work her magic!! Several hours later there I sat with the most beautiful shiny hot chocolate hair color and brand new thick, long extensions. I couldn?t stop smiling, AND neither could my husband when I walked in the door. Needless to say, Nicole is now my husbands new hairstylist.
Nicole creates beauty with both men and woman. Her clients and herself are walking advertisements of the exceptional work she does. If you are looking for the best in the business, I highly recommend Nicole LaGrange!

Jasmine is the most innovative hairstylist that anybody could ask for. I remember the first time getting my hair cut by Jasmine 4 years ago I was blown away by how gifted she is with working on hair. This woman lives, breathe and sleep for styling hair and she have the most magnificent vision & knowledge on what works best for you. I will never ever think about going elsewhere.

Ladies!! I cannot say enough about the wonderful stylist Amber Hopson! She came through for me on VERY short notice when I thought all hope was lost. I needed my long hair with extensions washed and pressed. She met me within the hour on her day off! She is more than skilled, she has natural talent for taking all kinds of hair textures and turning it into soft, supple tresses! If your looking for the best press in the san fernando valley, you've found it! And I do mean a real press with irons and an oven!
None of that electric iron stuff. In addition, the salon is super classy with KwEL decor computers at every station and an espresso depot! . I usually find myself fumbling through outdated magazines to avoid talking but actualy enjoyed my time here :)Thanks Amber, you rock!!!

I just got my hair styled by Amber my best friend gets her hair done by her every week. She kept telling me to go so for her birthday i did. Amber is absolutely the best hair stylist in the valley she does wonders on all types of hair, whether your getting it styled for a birthday, cut, color, i have seen her do it all and it is amazing. If you are looking for a new place or just tired of your old look you must make an appointment with her. She is loving and absolutely hilarious you will love every minute. You must get your hair done at Jazyhair and see Amber....you won't regret it.....i promise

If your looking for a salon where there is great customer service, wonderful services, and everything else you should come to Jazyhair, in Sherman Oaks. I came to the salon in begining of September to get extenstions by Lianna whom I am really pleased with, she greeted me with a great smile, did a wonderful job with my hair and I havn't regreat the penny I have spent in this salon. I have been to many salons in my day and never have I had the type of experience that I had with Amber. She helped me out of a tough situation and I will never forget that. Just recently I have met Jasmine, master stylist and the owner of Jazyhair. I was very impressed with her skills and knowledge. She took her time to show me how to style my hair at home, so that this amazing cut she gave me always looks great. My color prior to seeing her was very dull, so she brightened it with some rich caramel highlights, and I love it! We had a great conversation too, she is very personable yet professional.

This is a great salon! My stylist Amber was wonderful! Not only does she do her absoulte best to make sure that you look your best, but she also helps you on how to keep your hair healthy and looking great. She is one of the best hair stylist in the world! The other great thing is that she will meet with you prior to making an appointment to consulte with you on what look you are trying to acheive. Jazyhair Salon really makes you feel at home! I love the setting, the music, and the people here! It's like a little pampering place where you are free to have the tea / coffee and the Hi-Fi internet while you get your hair done! I'm writing this review as I'm getting my hair done! Nicole is my hairstylist and she is an amazing hairstylist! She really cares about your hair and really wants to make sure that you get the style you want and to get it done right. You feel the personal touch when you have her do your hair! I highly recommend this place and Nicole to be your hairstylist, especially if you want bridal hair to done perfectly! I love my bridal hair-do!

If you are a hard to please person and only the best in life will do then I suggest you go to Jazy hair salon in Sherman Oaks. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting and the people are a breath of fresh air. It's nice to find individuals who truly take an interest in making you feel good. I received the "best" flat iron and cut that I have EVER had in my life. I am extremely pleased!!! If you are like me and don't trust too many hairstylist then I suggest you call and make an appointment at this establishment asap. You will not regret it! I am sold 110%! Thank you Amber for hooking me up. I greatly appreciate it!

I Have curly hair that I have been fighting for years. When I met Jasmine, she took me through a consultation and showed me how to style my curls, and gave me a great cut. Life has been mush easier! Then I have decided to do a Japanese Permanent Straightening, and I LOVE IT. Jasmine is wonderful, she is also the owner of the salon and the salon is amazing. Computers for clients, ice coffee, ice tea....love it!

I can't say enough good things about Amber! I'm an African-American woman who's been in LA for two years. I've been completely frustrated with my search to find a quality stylist. My my search if finally over!

THE PROCESS:

From the moment I sat in Amber's chair I knew she was the type of quality stylist I was used to going to back in NYC. She took the time to do a full consultation before putting anything in my hair. She examined every inch of my hair and my entire scalp. She also asked lots of questions to make sure she gave me what my hair needed. Hair health is one of her top priorities. She then made many recommendations and suggestions. Once we decided on a plan she went to work. I came in for a relaxer touch-up and a cut (not a trim). Before she put the relaxer in she based my entire scalp not just my hairline (if you get relaxers you know how important this step is). Then she meticulously put in the relaxer cream. She was very careful to put the relaxer ONLY on my new growth and not overlap it on top of previously relaxed hair (again, if you get relaxers you know how important this step is as well). Because she based my entire scalp, I didn't feel a thing and she was able to leave the relaxer in a bit longer so it can really straighten my new growth. The wash was out of this world! She massaged my scalp and it was so relaxing I fell asleep. Then she put in a deep conditioner and put me under a steamer. It was like a facial for your hair! If you have damaged hair like I do, this step is a must do for ANY hair texture. Next, the cut. Her cutting technique is really high quality and extra-meticulous. She gave me exactly what I wanted.

THE RESULT:

My hair came out silky smooth, extra shiny, and totally touchable. My hair had a swing it never had before! Amber is a complete professional. She does hair of ALL textures. So, whether you're black, latina, white, asian, or anything else, Amber is absolutely your girl!

I came in so nervous because I've always had long hair,but I wanted a short cut. I've been to many salons and always tried to get input from the stylists, but everyone else would just go off of pictures. Amber was great. She looked at me and looked at the picture I brought in and helped me tweak the style I wanted to fit my face and my style. As a Latiino woman I have always had a certain type of hairstyle and Amber gave me a hot new look that I instantly fell in love with. I highly recommend her and this salon to all those who expect perfection.

I had Amber as my stylist and she was very friendly and knowledgable. I am very busy and never have time to really style my hair, she was able to give me good, practical tips to help my hair look great. For anyone with a busy schedule getting practical advice on hair maintanence is as good as gold. :)

After going to many hair salons and stylists for extensions, I finally found the best> Liana knows what shes doing. She does the best extensions. I needed some length and body to my hair after cutting it short. Never I thought it could look so good and natural. Lianas the best at what shes does, not only the extensions came out great but the cut she gave after gave it the final perfect touch. If you want the best go to Liana you wont be dissapointed.

I've been coming to see Jasmine for years. She is amazing! She is an excellent stylist with both color and cut. She is amazing with culy hair, straight hair, wavy hair whatever type of hair you have, she is amazing. The salon is conveiently located on Ventura Blvd., near the 101 freeway. All the stylist are so nice, it really is a pleasure to get you hair done. Jasmine also provides laptops with internet service at each station. I truly love this salon. Everyone should check out Jazyhair for sure. It makes me a little nervous to praise her in such a public setting because everyone is going to find out how great she is and I will never get in to see her again. Make an appointment today, she is simply the best!
