I went to Riva the other day for a late lunch. My boyfriend and I were seated right away and the servers were very attentive, and I mean ALL the servers... not just the one that was assigned to our table. The view is amazing, and it's a nice casual place that isn't too expensive.
The calamari here was good, though the pieces are a little too big for my taste. I ordered the fish and chips which was excellent and huge! There were 3 pieces of fish and I could only manage 1 piece. The fries were nice and crispy.
Be forewarned though... the fried food is FRIED, so if you don't like really greasy food, order something else off of the menu.

Pros: the view, the service
I have been eating at Riva's for over ten years and have to say they are simply the best! The prices are phenominal and the service is too! I love the terriyaki chicken over charcoal(bb-q) and the fried zuchinni! I also love there dipping sauce which is one of a kind! If you have the money get the fishermans platter or the Pacific Red Snapper Fillet! Fabulous! The owner is there most every night and she is super cool! Totally part of the positive atmosphere! Riva's is my all time fav place to eat ever!
