The school's administrators are horrible, they lack social skills, very disrespectful, very RUDE! Nancy, the owner is money hungry and power tripping. Nancy has been known to reprimand her

While we had our child at the school for several years, it was the 2-5 year old classes we found to be chaotic and unstructured. The owner, Nancy, was also very condescending towards her staff and at times would reprimand them in front of parents.

We did find the infant and toddler rooms great. The caregivers for those rooms were experienced and cared for the children well.

The older classes though, were unstructured and chaotic. The rooms were also often dirty and my child was usually a mess at pick up times, which I believe may have been because the staff were often overworked with too many children.

Though, their philosophy was about learning through play, the owner often discouraged the teachers from any kind of "traditional" teaching methods.

Pros: extended hours

Cons: horrible owner/principal

I've been at this school for several years. Had I known back at the start what I know now i would have choosen the Growing Place. The teachers are great, once your child is above 1, and they take great care of my child. Under 1 you have to deal with Geta who is HORRIBLE. She tells all the parents they are doing everything wrong and argues with them and even other teachers.

The biggest problem is not a teacher like Geta though. It's the administration in the form of the head of the school, Nancy. I went tro her twice with issues about my child and she told me if I kept complaining she would "ask you to leave so you and your child can be happier at another school." One of the times all I did was ask if my child had eaten their lunch! She is truly drunk on power and just not a nice person at all.

It became very clear that any question, comment or complaint would lead to expulsion for my child who likes it there. So we stopped saying anything to them. They have so many kids apply to their school they just don't care and they are willing to kick out anyone they don't like.

Pros: Caring teachers for kids above 1

Cons: No one cares about parents at all!

I've been in the Les Enfants family for over 2 years now and love the school. Emphasis is on learning through play and letting kids be kids. Good outdoor play space and teacher to child ratio.
