Five minutes to go and the clock is still ticking away. I'm stuck on a problem but have to finish or else I'll have to turn in my test and not be able to get the best grade possible. This was the experience I had while taking tests to pass certain levels at the Kumon Math and Reading Center. It used to be located right next to Chuck E Cheeses, until they changed that into Dragon Buffet. Most of my cousins attended this Kumon and enrolled in both math and reading subjects while I focused on math. It was a helpful experience to complement school math and actually put me ahead of what I was learning at school. Overall it was an extra boost on top of coursework I already had but sometimes this may not be the best idea for kids who have so much on their plate already. It's up to parents and their kids to decide if they want to take on some extra work that will help only if they are willing to put the time and effort into it. The instructors and graders are there to help so the service is very geared toward promoting learning. In the end we all wish we could have learned more math and reading skills, I'm glad I got a chance to spruce up my own through the math assignments at Kumon
