Da Silva Wendy E Do - Pismo Family Practice

I have had my share of terrible doctors but this one blows all of them out of the water. I was a new patient there just like this other lady who commented, and when the Doctor came in she shook my hand but didnt introduce me to her. DR. Da Silva hurried up asking me questions, ignoring all of the important questions like those didnt matter. I came in to see a Doctor because I am new in this area and Ive been having some problems. I wanted to speak with her about them to find out the conclusion but all see wanted to talk about was what medications to put me on that has nothing to do with whats wrong with me. She not only wanted to put me on medications but she kept pushing for other shots like the flu and others. I am a young adult I dont think I need the flu shot; I am not a big person about getting shots or medications when you really dont need them. I see the flu shot only if you get the flu a lot or youre older and when you get sick when your old you can be more acceptable to get sick and possible dying. But a young adult like me who hasnt gotten the flu since I was 7 or 8 I dont think I need it. Dr. Da Silva looks like shes only money driven; Trying to hurry up her patients so she can have them keep coming back for money instead of solving the problem with one good physical. By the way I also wanted my blood checked to make sure my blood sugar level was ok because Diabetes runs in the family and when I asked her when would I get my blood test back she said in a month when you come back for another physical. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I have other family who have gotten the same test and its been like 2 weeks when they got their test back. This Doctor is out of her mind. I would not at all, even if she was the last Doctor on the plant, I would NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT RECOMMENDED this Doctor.

Nice office with pleasant office workers. However, my visit with Dr. Da Silva was less than satisfactory. She spent less than 5 minutes with me as a new patients I have a lot of medical history and need to be monitored closely. The medical history papers I had filled out were never looked at. She wasn't interested in what I had to say (about my own history), but was more focused on asking specific questions. Her physical exam took less than 30 seconds. I left feeling that I had as much attention as a paper on her desk. This is not a doctor who listens.
