The place was very cozy and relaxing. I like the massage where they put some kind of smooth stones from your nape all the way down to your lower back while greeting massaged from the sides of the head.

When it comes to hair and beauty, PRESTON at Acme is the perfectly balanced professional. He is extremely knowledgeable, but not at all pushy; is a good listener, but will also offer his opinion if asked; he is warm and kind, but also has a silly/sassy side as well; he just seems to be a lovely all around person. PRESTON listened to my concerns/desires/etc.. about my hair (coming off a horrible experience at another salon), did his thing, and I left an hour and a half later feeling like a new person. And it didn't stop there - I have been loving my new cut for 2 months now. I'm not overly dramatic about my hair - I've had a couple sub par cuts in my day and whatever, it grows back, but when you do have a great cut it can transform your whole attitude/ outlook. So, If you want to have a great experience with a talented professional that you can trust to share in your 'vision' give PRESTON a visit and I know you'll leave his salon happy...

I live in San Jose and just happened to stop by Acme, by chance. It is an amazing and unbelievable treat to have a hair cut with Carol Anderberg at the Acme Salon. It is the first time in a long time that a hair dresser actually did what I wanted, and not what she is used to do. I am very happy with Carol and love the Salon?s atmosphere. I highly recommend it to everyone, no matter how simple or sophisticated your taste may be. 5 ***** for Carol.

I have been regularly going to Acme since it opened a few years ago. The service is fabulous, the surroundings are nice and very clean, the people are engaging and friendly. I have never had a "bad color day" after having my hair done by Dennis at the salon, not to mention he gives the best haircut I have ever had. He knows his stuff, he's fun, engaging, professional and talented, to say the least. I work in a courtroom in a Bay Area county and I was subbing for another colleague. The judge, who I know very well, put her hand over the microphone, asked me to come over to her, and said "your hair looks fabulous," then we continued on with what we were doing. If I can stop a court proceeding with my lovely locks, it makes me very confident that my hair looks as fabulous as it feels.

I really can't say enough great things about Dennis, the salon, and all the people that work there. If you don't give it a try, I can only hope that you never have a bad salon day again. If you do give it a try, I can almost guarantee you will never have a bad salon day again. At least that has been my experience and that of my friends. Pick up the phone!

I've been living in the area for only a few months (a Washington DC transplant) and dreaded to undergo the search for a new salon but I found exactly what I was looking for with Acme.

The location is awesome. The vibe is very chill.

Prestin cut my hair and we spent about five minutes beforehand talking about everything.

He did an *amazing* job. One of the best haircuts I've had in my entire life. The entire visit was fun because he's a wonderful person to talk to.

Prestin has a new client now.

A marvelous haircut for only $50.

Yeah. I'm happy.

"I moved here from Los Angeles (land of great hair) to have my hair ruined by inept stylists over and over. After 1.5 years of growing out the damage (flying back to LA for the repair jobs) it was clear I needed to try another local out.
Today I met Dennis and he gave me the best haircut of my life! I broke away from the mirror to sign up on citysearch just to sing his praises. I have very thick and wavy hair that Dennis magically thinned into a hip super-cool new do. He seemed to have ESP and knew what I wanted without me struggling to articulate it or being forced to pick out a "look" out of a stupid hair book.
The salon is retro 50's inspired with a great vibe. No pretenses...just great energy. Dennis has made me the happiest girl in the Bay!"

Dennis has been styling my hair for over 10 years and I drive from San Jose just for him to do my hair. The color is great and he doesn't fix the same style repeatedly. He gets really excited about creating a new look. He's also a great cook and will share recipes.

My only hesitation in writing a review of Acme is that I won't be able to get an appointment! This is a wonderful, down to earth salon with talented hair dressers that have great skills. The hair products are luxurious as is the service and without the overtly hipster vibe that some hair salons embrace. Don't get me wrong: Acme is absolutely HIP, but it is not a scene. If you want her hair cut and/or colored RIGHT (and who doesn't?) go to Acme. Just please let me still be able to get an appointment!

Recently went to Acme and met with KImberly. She is a nice gal and talented. My friend suggested that i see her and get a new do. I said ok and gave it a try and love my hair. The best thing is that for writing this review I get 20% off my visit and that is a great deal. Kimberly is an amazing stylist!! My main concern is my color and what she does with it is unbelievable. Her cuts are second to none. At least once a week I get compliments on my hair!!! The salon is great but the only reason I go there is because of her. When you make an appointment be sure and do it in advance as she may be booked for a couple of weeks but believe me when I tell you it is worth the wait !!!!!!!!!!!

I got my haircut by Lindsay a while ago and she is the best! My hair was down to my waist and I was ready for a change. Lindsay made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to cut my long hair. I ended up cutting off 18 inches and was so happy with the turn-out. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I brought in a picture of the haircut I wanted and she did it perfectly! II was so nervous but I put my hair in her hands and she did a great job! On top of that, she was reassuring, fun-spirited, and kind. Since then, my mom, dad, and sister have all gone to see her! I recommend her to any one who needs a hair makeover!

Kimberly is your answer. After a bad decision to bleach out my beautiful highlighted hair to a platinum blond. ?Well let just say it was a chicken yellow instead?. I felt like a cheep @$%^&(@?
Looking and searching for a solutions to fix this mess I got myself into. I started to research the internet. Before I went to see Kimberly I went to another highly recommended salon, they told me I would have to grow my natural color out 2 to 3 inches and sent me on my way telling me there is nothing they could do at this time. Not a pretty site my roots are quite dark brown. I knew there had to be a solution. I have seen others with as blond of hair but not this yellow undertone. Thinking there was nothing after my visit at the last salon I went to consult with Kimberly. She took her time to explain to me what happened and how we could resolve my problem with a quick and not a very expensive way. Thank god for her!!! My boyfriend never dares to say a thing to me about my hair but he said honey, your hair looks great. I really love it! I guess he did not like sleeping with that chicken yellow hair girl. J Now I have gone in for my first highlights with Kimberly and wow! I did not know how she could fix the 1-inch outgrowth that I had but she did. I get many compliments on my hair now. My color is this beautiful hue of pearl blond. I feel better than ever and now I am thankful that I had such a bad experience because I would of never of found Kimberly. She is fun person too, a plus. She is quite busy so it took me a while to get in to see her but it was totally worth the wait. All I can say is get your appointments now cuz this girl is going to be busy. I love the fact she has online booking too?Thanks Kimberly you?re my hair god.

I have been to many of the top salons in San Francisco over the past 4 years (77 Maiden Lane, Cowboys and Angels, and Cinta to name a few...) searching for a stylist who I like that can both cut and color hair. It's been a long, frustrating search but I've finally found her...Kimberly G at Acme Head and Body!! I'm a blonde and constantly on the hunt for the perfect shade of white blonde that's not too yellow or ashy. For some reason every place I've been has messed up my color (always too natural, mousey, or yellow) but Kimberly totally understood me and GOT THE COLOR RIGHT! Not only that, she has a super cool personality (she's very easy to talk to and SO knowledgeable) and my hair cut rocked too! I recommend her to anyone who is fed up with the "top" San Francisco salons and wants to finally have their hair done right!

Kimberly cut and styled my hair for the first time Thursday (3-13-08). I have just moved to SF from the East coast and had no idea where to go to get my hair done. To say I have problem hair is an understatement. I have thick natural curls that are such a problem to control. I went to Kimberly with my friends suggestion (and wonderful praises), as she has been seeing Kim for a year or so now. I went in with ideas of what I wanted to leave with, I had hopes of getting a good cut that I will be able to style myself once I go home. I had zero hopes that she would be able to style my hair like I wanted, no one has ever been able to. Kim amazed me. She not only cut my hair just as I asked of her she was able to style my hair like never before. Better than my highest hopes. I am THRILLED with Kim. I would, and will, recommend her to everyone I know. And to top it off she is a wonderful personality who listens to you and really cares about you as her client. No rushing to get to the next client. She spent so much time with me and really made me happier with my hair than I think I've ever been. Thank you Kimberly!! YOU ROCK

I have very thick, wavy, coarse hair. Kimberly is the first stylist who actually gets it. I love that I can schedule an appointment for a full cut or just to have my hair thinned. Yesterday, Kimberly colored my hair, which has been going gray for about five years. Kimberly's color work is fabulous--she worked with the gray to have it act as highlights. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the color. I love it! Thank you Kimberly.

When I moved to San Francisco from the east coast, I did so with excitement, but also a pang of regret that I had to leave my hair stylist of many years. She and I had bonded as I sat in her chair over so many things, and she consistently gave me the best looking hair I had ever known. So needless to say I was a bit apprehensive about finding a good stylist here. So I went online to find out what kind of experiences other people were having with their stylists. I found Holly on CitySearch, and everyone seemed to really like her. I made my appointment online ? so easy!
When I stepped into the salon, I was greeted warmly, and immediately took note of the adorable decor. Holly introduced herself and we got started. I felt comfortable with her right away because I could tell she was really listening to what I wanted. I didn?t want anything too crazy, since I was still feeling separation anxiety from my beloved ex-stylist. Holly totally delivered. She matched my color perfectly, and she gave me a cut that really flattered the shape of my face and was super-stylish at the same time.
Since then I have been back to Holly several times, and I liked her so much that I even created this CitySearch profile just to tell the world about how great she is! We?ve started branching out with my color and style, and every time I see her I leave her chair looking better than the time before.
I am so happy to have found a west coast rival to my east coast stylist! No one can match what I had with her, but Holly has introduced me to a whole new chapter of my hair-related life!

I LOVE KIMBERLY G.
In all honesty Kimberly G. is the best hairstylist that has ever touched my hair and let me tell you I have been to a lot of hairstylist, so that says A LOT! I hated my hair, simply because it had that brassy look with tons of different colors weaved in it. It looked extremely fake, sort of trashy and not to mention extremely damaged! I basically told her I wanted to try and keep the length and I let her do her thing! She gave me a more elegant, classy, layered look with a more natural color. Exactly what I was looking for! One thing that amazed me was before I went in I could barely run my fingers through my hair without hitting a tangle but after Kimberly was done with my hair it was so sleek and soft! She is truly amazing and can work wonders on hair you wouldn?t think could ever be fixed! So if you hair needs color correction, highlight, lowlights, touch ups or even just a cut, Kimberly is the stylist for you! I can say I normally don?t just let any stylist do what they want to my hair, but if you need someone you can trust with your hair, GO TO KIMBERLY! I promise you won?t just fall in love with her talented, creative skills but her sweet, optimistic personality as well!

I have found the VERY BEST stylist in the City. Kimberly is the stylist that most of us search and search for and some of us are fortunate to finally find. Not only does she give GREAT haircuts, she does my color and highlights like no one else ever has ? I?m so pleased with Kimberly?s work. Even with all the color and highlights, my hair is in really good condition, again thanks to Kimberly. When I leave the salon after she has done my hair ? I feel great. Many, many are the times when leaving other salons that I have not felt that way, in fact would go home and restyle my hair. I cannot imagine anyone going to Kimberly for a haircut/style or color and not being really pleased and feeling good about how they look --- And to top it off she is so very nice.

Dennis used to be a chef, and he brings the same grace and assurance to hair color. I went in with a color emergency and he fixed it without breaking stride! And without damaging my hair. My color is natural and classy. His relaxed personality influences the whole salon. Not stuffy or stuck-up, it is friendly and approachable. It's also in a convenient location--a few doors from Loehmann's!

I have been traveling from stylist to stylist for over 4 years now and everytime I leave the salon, I am disappointed with either the work they did or the personality of the stylist. I was referred to Holly from a friend of mine and when I made the appointment, I was thinking to myself "here I go again". When I walked into the salon, there was a warm and welcoming energy. The salon is very unique, I've never seen anything like it. It's absolutely adorable. I was a little hesitant, as I have always had unpleasant service in the past, but Holly made me feel comfortable right away. I'm not sure what it was that made me so relaxed, but just the way she did the consultation assured me she knew what she was doing. Not only did she know what she was doing, but she actually has a strong passion for it that you can see in her eyes. I would recommend her to anyone. I couldn't stay away from the mirror. The way she cut my hair framed my face perfectly and the color looked absolutely amazing. Go see her soon before she's booked!

Melissa Ruiz works Sundays only (she's also the Color Specialist at San Francisco Institute of Esthetics & Cosmetology full-time) but she's very accomodating with her schedule. She really listens during the consultation and gave me exactly what I wanted, making the appropriate changes for my face shape and hair texture. Her specialty is color yet I also got a fabulous haircut. Oh, and was her shampoo the most relaxing shampoo I've ever experienced!

Holly was a referral from a friend of mine so I was a bit nervous as my former stylist moved to another state. You have got to understand that my former hair stylist was Redken Stylist of the year so I was a bit particular when it came to my hair.

Holly definitely made me feel comfortable and gave me the sense that I was in good hands. Even though I was extremely picky and a bit demanding, she was totally professional about the whole experience and ad the same time very personable.

If you're looking for someone that is a hair GURU, welcoming, pays attention to details, and just simply a phenomenal person, please don't hesitate to contact Holly for all your hair needs.

Thanks for always making me feel like a MILLION Bucks when I leave the salon.

Kimberly G is the best hairdresser I have had to date.
I've seen quite a few stylist these past years (from rocker hipsters to highly trained snazzy fashionista types) and no one has ever delivered such great results in such little time.

I came to her with distressed bleach blond hair and she has managed to not only resurrect it , but to maintain/create the style/look that I desire. She has done so quickly and attentively in a comfortable, relaxing manner.

Seriously don't know what I would do without her. Kimberly Rocks!!!!

I was looking for someplace new to get my hair done after a long chain of bad hair experiences, so I asked my best friend where she gets her hair done. She told me to go to Holly at Acme Head and Body right away! "She'll change your world!"
So I went online to check out the salon's website, and I noticed that I could make my appointment online! I booked for a cut and color, and got an email confirmation from Holly herself. Done and done.
On appointment day, I went to the salon a little early because I didn't want to get lost. I ended up finding the place right away, so I went to the bagel shop downstairs for a few minutes and had a smoothie. Delicious! Went I went up to the second floor (where the salon was), I was greeted right from the elevator, and Holly offered me a cold beverage. The salon was so cute - every station was a vintage vanity! What a cute idea.
Holly touched up my color first, which I needed badly! She was even able to match the color perfectly. Then she took me over to wash my hair, and I was able to take a glance at the artwork on the walls. I love when salons display local artwork. She used shampoo that smelled amazing, and she massaged my head and neck!
Next Holly cut my hair. First she did a precision cut, which looked perfect, and she explained that this was the first step. Next she did a full blow-out and straightened it with a flat iron. Then she went back in with the scissors, and started to texturize my hair. I love to see all the weight coming out of my hair, so this was the best part for me. When she was finished, she re-styled and put finishing touches on me, and I was so happy! It was exactly what I wanted, and it fit my taste and personality completely. Holly was a real professional who really understood what I wanted.
Over a week later, I still spend a little extra time looking at my perfect hair in the mirror, and I'm so happy!
My search is over, I have found my perfect stylist!

Ever since I moved away from home and abandoned my favorite hair-stylist, I have had to endure one horrible and self-esteem ruining haircut after another. Finally, in San Francisco, Holly saved my hair and my future. When she was done cutting and coloring my hair, I actually said, "I want to make-out with my bangs." They were that hot. Holly and I talked extensively before she got to work; she asked me what I envisioned, she suggested what would look good, and we looked at style and color books together -- she was very patient, understanding, and fun. Our conversation during the haircut and color was one of the best I've had in San Francisco. I was at first worried to see hair flying all over the place, but Holly knew what she was doing, and you can now hear my friends saying things to me like, "This is the best you have ever looked," or, "This is the greatest haircut to date," or, "I want to make-out with you." Thank you, Holly!

Preston is excellent!!! He is original, creative, absolutely fun and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I took a chance and am so glad I did. I have saved so much time because the haircut simply takes care of itself. I left the salon with a cut that fits my personality, enhances my positive features, and has just the right amount of funk . Now what more could one ask for. And what fun we had!!!

I went to Acme after reading 20-30 reviews and thought I'd take my chances. Preston had many terrific reviews and decided to go with him. I was pleasantly surprised when I called to book my appointment and asked to schedule an appt. w/Preston, that he immediately came to the phone and personally booked the appt. Upon arriving at the salon Preston instantly made me feel comfortable. We went over what my ideas were, problems I've encountered with previous cuts because my hair all grows forward, ( which no one has grasped until Preston) leaving me with a mass of hair much too heavy for my small face. Preston understood the problems with my hair, and at the same time also got a feel of my personality . I was truly impressed with the cut. We all have pictures and ideas of what we would like to look like after coming out of a salon but in my experience it is never even close. I always wondered if I had explained something incorrectly, or is that how they see me, to I look nothing like that photo they suggested. Thank you Preston, I'm not crazy afterall!!! This is only the second time after leaving a salon where I did not have to rush home to wash and restyle. And we are talking of at least thirty years and countless $$$$$. Thank you Preston. I'll be back soon. Oh by the way this is my first review of any sort and hope this will be helpful to somone.

I have been trying to grow my hair long for years, but something always happens that causes me to give up - a bad cut, and awkward stage that results in me chopping it off again, etc. After visiting Kim G. at Acme Head and Body I feel renewed hope that my efforts to grow out my hair will pay off this time!! I went to see Kim to get a trim after going 3 months without touching it. Kim actually told me that she would not cut my hair, that the layers are still too short, and that I needed to give it at least 2 more months of growth. She was clearly not motivated by money - she would not take a dime for the consultation she gave me, which included a lesson about color and moisture, product recommendations, and a flat iron style! She sent me on my way with a strategy as to how to get through the growing stage, and guaranteed me that if I follow her rules and see her for a few trims over the months, within 9 months I will have the beautiful long hair I've always wanted. I feel like now that I have Kim on my side, it is going to happen! I can't wait to see her again at Acme Hair and Body. You should too!

The Salon is a funky, and comfortable atmosphere, and full of talent. Not only is the salon itself a gem, but my stylist is as well. I enjoy going to a salon, sitting down, and just telling my stylist to do whatever they want. Each time I visit Holly, I really don't have to explain to her what I want because she knows my style, knows what's in, and is a very creative, and talented stylist. I have bigger things to worry about than getting a bogus haircut. :)

Holly has been coloring, cutting and styling my hair for 4 years now. She started out in Sacramento and when she moved to San Francisco (because her talent outgrew Sacramento) there was no question in my mind that it was worth it to me to make the drive to the bay area every couple months to have my hair done. I have a number of friends that have become her client through me just because they are so impressed with my hair styles through out the years. Holly has a great way of finding something new for you that you will love if that's what you want, or just maintaining a great style.
Holly is not only great at coloring and cutting hair, she's also very talented when it comes to formal styles, she did my hair for my wedding and all the girls in my bridal party, they of course looked great, I wouldn't have had anyone else.
Acme Head and Body did a great thing when they added Holly to the team, it's a modern retro salon with a great atmosphere, and she fits in great.

Holly Howard did a wonderful job dying and styling my hair. I was indecisive at first but she helped me to find the cutest look that really worked for me. It's been a couple weeks now and it still looks amazing and I continue to get compliments on it. I definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a new stylist, especially for coloring. For about 5 yrs i would not let anyone touch my hair. im a makeup artist based out of denver, co. & traveled out to SF for the 4th of july. -since i was in the SF area i was ready for a major change for my unruly wavy hair that used to cover my back. and hearing in colorado & from a best friend that lives in sacramento about this fabulous HoLLy. i was up for this lovely stylist to work her magic on me for a change. Holly used her versatile skills and created a very versatile haircut & color for me. you name it i can do it to my hair that is now mid length (50's, modern, mohawk, straight, curled, and even naturally wavy when im in a hurry).
being a makeup artist -i find myrself setting your standards higher with product(s) and people i work. as for Holly has proven her effective creative skills and i recommend her highly. You bet cha I'm flying back to have Holly work her magic my hair again. Thank you Holly...
***the salon is a very friendly environment and the shampoo oh wow really refreshing.

I went yesterday to Acme and Holly was the stylist who worked on my hair. She did an AMAZING job. i love my new hair cut and color so much! She is the best hairstylist i have been to. I wanted a hair cut that would make a statement about what type of person that I am. Something fun, and easy going, young and decidedly hip. I saw a girl on the street with a totally cute hair cut and asked here where she had gotten her hair done and she told me all about HOLLY at acme. Since the girl had such amazing things to say about this holly i decided to make an appointment for a cut AND color. Big step for me. I made an appointment online, which was super easy, and Holly's evening hours worked great with my schedule. Acme, where Holly works is cute and retro and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs you will ever sit in. Each stylist has their own 50's looking vanity, so you have a lot of personal space, you won't have other clients or stylists falling all over you, like in other salons. And did i like my hair? I LOVED IT. it is exactly what I never even knew I wanted. Its better then what I ever thought my hair could look like. She took into account my personal style, face shape and coloring... even how much time I put into my hair.

It's been about 5 weeks since I saw Holly, and I get compliments on my hair almost everyday. I have been recommending her to all of my friends and even my mom went to go see her... now all of her friends are starting to see Holly! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to see Holly while you still can... She is going to have a very busy and bright future!

I too followed Kiblerly to Acme from GSquared. Yesterday I got the best color I've ever had - again. I went in with all blong hair and came out looking like Giselle (well, the hair did). Just like in the picture I had with me. She is amazing! She totally gets what a want and does exactly that. My hair is in so much better condition now then when we first started over a year ago. And did I mention, the woman is great fun - you will not be bored while getting the best color ever.
I also love the Davines products Acme sells. The location is easy to get to -right across from Banana.

I am shocked. That after nearly 4 months since I last received my hair coloring from Kimberly G, I am still getting complements on how well the job was done. If you're a student like myself or either forgets to maintain regular touch-ups, you must see Kimberly G!! She has a signature color weaving technique that makes one feel like their coloring was just done yesterday!! I have been going to Preston for a bit over a year now and I always leave with exactly what I asked for. About a month ago, he was booked and I needed to get in to see someone before I left on a two week vacation! I decided to go to one of the stylists who is quite promoted as of late through the Citysearch reviews. Actually she was the only one available (I now know why!). Ouch! My color was all wrong although she used his formula. I'm guessing it was her technique (or maybe she had just stayed out too late the night before!). She offered a redo -- but I didn't have the time to come back before I left. Lesson learned -- Just because one stylist is fantastic, doesn't mean they all are. I'm back to Preston to stay.

I met Preston on the set of a photoshoot for my dance company when he was doing hair and makeup for the shoot and have been seeing him regularly for my blonde highlights and cuts ever since. Preston is fabulous! He is especially talented at choosing the perfect highlights and lowlights to work beautifully with your coloring. The chemicals he uses also do not dry out my hair the way they have at other salons, my hair actually has looked much healthier since I started working with Preston. I get so many compliments on how natural and pretty my color looks.
Preston is also wonderful with choosing a stylish cut to frame your face and bring out your features. He is the kind of stylist you can trust to give you a gorgeous cut and color without even having to ask specifically for exactly what you want. Often I just plop down in the chair and let him do his magic and I am so happy with the results.

Ok. So I hate my hair. I mean hate. And I hate going to the hairstylist because hairstylists always pull out the hair tie and their eyes get wide at my crazy, scrawny, little strands. But not Preston, because Preston is no hair stylist - he is a genius. He listens intently and asks a million questions - my favorite star's hair, problems I have with my own hair, issues I have with styling it (which is basically everything), and what kind of hair I hope to someday have. He's especially good with color. To be honest, when I leave the salon, the color's not quite what I wanted. But after one wash, it's perfect and it stays perfect. I'm always trying to grow my hair out, so I never want much off. He suggests what he thinks my hair needs, then asks what I want, and actually listens.

Furthermore, not only is Preston amazingly gifted at what he does, but he is also the most attentive stylists I've ever had. I have always meant to write a raving review about him but decided that today was the day this morning. I had a moment of inspiration after watching "Devil Wears Prada" last night and decided to cut myself some sassy super-model bangs. Let's just say they weren't quite sassy or super-modelish, but boy were they bangs. In a moment of panic, I called the salon and Preston turned out to be on vacation. An hour later I got a phone call from Preston who said he called as soon as he'd heard. He laughed with me when I explained my situation, assured me that they would fix it and immediately arranged for me to see another, equally gifted stylist this weekend. What a champ. He even sends thank you notes and follow up emails and includes a yummy scalp rub when he washes my hair.

The salon itself is chic, clean, and comfortable. Conversations drift from chair to chair and the owner always comes by to say hello with a fresh cup of coffee. I've only seen Preston, but from the smiles and glows I see from everyone else as they walk out, I'd say just get in there.

Kimberly is GREAT -- I followed her to Acme from GSquared (and Acme is SO much better -- a hip, relaxing place I love going to) and I have the best color I've ever had. I moved to SF from LA and had been travelling back to my stylist in LA for years (very expensive way to get your hair done, lemme tell ya) but not anymore! Kimberly totally "gets it" and understands what I want. In addition to coming away with fabulous hair, Kimberly makes you as comfortable as if she were entertaining you in her home.

After losing my go-to stylists and spending three years of trying out different stylists in the city, I finally found the perfect match for my needs! Last fall, Preston set me up with a low maintenance yet stylish cut and color - I was able to go months with a trim or touch up. A few weeks ago, I booked an appointment with Preston and brought in some photos of cuts that were radically different than what I had been doing. He helped me pick the best one for my hair and face, and then proceeded to give me the best haircut I've ever had. I can do anything with it - it's totally versatile and easy to manage. When I got back to the office, people literally stopped in their tracks to compliment my "new hair", saying it completely changed my presence. Since then, I've been telling everyone I know about Preston's skills. He is truly talented, along with being a very nice guy!

I moved to San Francisco last summer and since I am a woman who knows what she wants, I found ACME because they used Davines hair color and other products that I had been using in my last salon. The product line has been amazing for my hair, I have gotten more comments that people think I am a natural blond! Best compliment to the product and stylist. I picked Preston out of the stylist lineup and am SO glad I did! We have had the greatest time at each appointment and I have gotten more compliments ever since. He does my cut and color both, I'm always relaxed and feeling beautiful when I leave. Preston is always really quick to respond to emails, calls, and listens to my needs. Love it!

I first went to ACME in search of a facial moisturizer with no intention of getting a haircut. A friendly stylist not busy with a client helped me to locate my moisturizer and at the end of the transaction offered me his business card. I later reflected on this sylist's personable persona and months later decided to give him a try. Preston is a great sytlist in addition to being a sparkling personality. The atmosphere at ACME is relaxed and casual. I enjoy Preston's attention to detail and desire to work with his client's changing needs. Definitely a special find in the City.

When I quit my fancy pants stylist for being too pricey, I wasn't sure I would find anyone else as fabulous. I was referred to Preston at Acme when I needed hair/makeup assistance for a photo shoot. He was professional, efficient and so sweet! The images were beautiful, so I made an appointment for a cut. He listens to what I want, gives realistic suggestions when I don't know what I want and makes me gorgeous before I leave the chair. He's consistently on time and gives me his total focus during our appointment. I love him and I'm sure you will too!

What a terrific experience! I had been looking for a place to get a decent haircut for a while and was referred to Kimberly by a friend. She was amazing! She was very accommodating to my schedule, gave some great input to fixing what was on my head; and she did quite a terrific job. After a long day at the office i was worn out and needed a drink, she must have sensed it because as if by magic a cold beer manifested in my hand, I hadn't said a word!
I am in the hotel industry, so I am very keen to service. ACME has some of the best service I have experienced while getting a haircut. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff is willing to work with you to get the exact look you want. Kimberly is terrific, I am sure she is representative of the entire staff.
Being a guy, I am a bit timid in salons as I feel I have a simple look and don't need all the excess equipment and attention. Again, I felt perfectly comfortable and was not pressured to spend lots of money on services I don't need. Great spot, two thumbs up, I'll be back!

I had my hair long for quite some time; my last short hair cut was in High School. (Just so you know, that was quite a while ago : ) I finally took the plunge, had Holly cut my hair and I LOVE IT!! Holly has cut my hair several times and I love it every time she cuts it. She's precise and spends the time needed on your hair. I even recommended her to several people I work with and you can bet your boots I wouldn't have done that for fear of back lash, knowing they could easily find me if they didn't like their hair cuts. Every one of them liked what she did with their hair..... I get excited every time I'm getting my hair cut by Holly and highly recommend her to anyone for any occasion..... She's sweet & professional and you won't be sorry!

I have been going to my old stylist for 12+ years. I was very nervous about trying Acme but after all the reviews I decided to give it a shot. I was going on a job interview so it was very important to have a good cut & color. Holly may not have the volume of reviews here but that girl is the BOMB. She picked a fabulous color that reflected my natural coloring better and the cut and style were perfect- very modern and suited me perfectly.
Her price was very reasonable and she was fun &sweet. I got a very good vibe from the place and I`m glad I took the leap of faith- so far nothing but compliments! A++++

I had recently gone to a very well known "hair colorist to the stars" in West Hollywood for what I thought would be amazing blonde highlights. Instead I received attitude, and the worst blonde color I have ever had. It was literally orange and canary yellow! I left crying and called my best friend for some advise as what to do and she said go to Kimberly in San Francisco. I immediately called Kimberly and booked an appointment. I was so appreciative that she worked me into the schedule seeing that I didn't even call until after 3:00pm on a Wednesday. When I arrived to San Francisco 2 days later,Kimberly analyzed my hair and came up with an amazing formula to color correct and give me what I should have gotten at the other salon. I could not believe my eyes when Kimberly was finished! She literally removed all the orange color from my hair and in place added gorgeous creamy blonde highlights and caramel lowlights and she did everything without further damaging my hair! Kimberly is a perfectionist and a true color correction Queen! She is so sweet as well as all the other stylists I came in contact with at Acme. I am so GRATEFUL to Kimberly for her amazing skills and many years of experience! Kimberly's a keeper forever! The trip to San Francisco is totaly worth it...

I have spent literally thousands of dollars over the years in search of the perfect hair color. I went to dozens of top-rated stylists and no one seemed to be able to manage the look I knew was possible! I even flew myself to LA to see a stylist at Fred Segal that a magazine cited as having done Gwen Stefani's hair! It seemed like no matter what I did or who I saw, my hair only became more damaged and the color never exited the realm of plain or average; to add insult to injury, every stylist would charge be double because it was always considered a color "correction" (and I have great hair)! Then the heavens parted and light shone down and angels sang and Kimberley the Color Goddess appeared and saved me. She gave me the color I had always pictured in my mind's eye, the color I had dreamed of, but had given up on. I now have the most beautiful hair and get compliments from complete strangers virtually every day. Everyone agrees that it's the color I was meant to be. She's specializes in blondes and her prices are refreshingly reasonable! I will never, ever go to anyone else ever again in my life. I could not possibly say enough fantabulous things about nor ever fully express how amazingly talented she is. And, as if that weren't enough, she's also a wonderful human being and a true joy to be around. Always so warm, genuine and positive. She is the best hair stylist in San Francisco, bar none, and a girlfriend. I recommend her without reservation.

I have been seeing Kimberly since she was at Gsquared and really can't say enough about her natural talent, ability to communicate to me what would work best on my hair type and just plain AWESOMENESS! She turned my bland dark hair into something in a high fashion magazine or celebrity rag. She was able to layer (not highlights, she did something different) two colors in subtle tones to give my hair lots of luster, shine and movement and get it healthier than what it was before. Her cutting technique is also great--not too structured and laborious, but cuts as little hair to get the greatest effect. I know, it sounds like a miracle, but basically that is what she does.

I recommended her to two co-workers who recently had botched highlight jobs, and she fixed them up pronto.

I decided to try extensions from Acme b/c I was very unhappy with the ones I had done at a different salon; I'd only had them a month, and over half had fallen out. Ariane offered me a free consultation when I called, and she explained everything she would do differently so I would like my new extensions more. She chose the perfect colors to match my hair (hair is included in the price, and it's SUCH good quality!), was incredibly personable, co-scheduled me with a colorist, Preston, who did a fabulous job and had me ready right on time, and explained how her micro-ring process would be less damaging to my hair than the glued in ones I'd recently had done.
When my appointment started I told Ariane I only had two hours, and she managed to do my entire head in that time! Her sections were perfect, not sloppy or rushed, and her precise placement of the hair gave me exactly the look I was hoping for-- long, thick, highlighted, and wavy. I will be returning to her for maintenance, and for new extensions in a few months. I HIGHLY reccomend getting micro-ring extensions over the glued "fusion" kind, and am glad she convinced me to- which was nice b/c she charges less for them than the normal glued ones. She is more than just a hairstylist; she's a transformer and a hair artist, and I am happy to be wearing her art every day!

I MUST ADMIT THAT I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS AT FIRST BUT EVERYONE THERE WAS SO NICE AND PROFESSIONAL THAT I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE BEFORE ANYONE EVER TOUCHED MY HAIR.THANKS TO KIMBERLY, THREE HOURS LATER I HAD BEAUTIFUL ASHE BLONDE HAIR WITHOUT A TRACE OF BRASSY OR ORANGE COLOR. Yes, Kimberly is FANTASTIC!! After a year of hating my hair and desperately trying to find a stylist who could fix the color & revive my horribly overprocessed, brittle hair, I lucked out found Kimberly! I walked into the salon with 3-4 layers of different colors put on by different stylists using different products as well as a really uneven cut. I hadn't worn my hair down in months and had started regretting ever dying it in the first place! :( Within a matter of hours, Kimberly had given me a beautiful cut, stripped off all the layers of brassy reds & browns and given me a really soft & natural looking caramel brown with highlights & lots of depth. I absolutely loved it. She also somehow made my hair soft and manageable again, like it used to be before i started dying it. AND, she's a real fun, sweet person to spend time chatting with. So, I got exactly what i asked for, I love my hair again and I will no longer trust my head to anyone else. THANKS KIMBERLY! See you again in a few weeks. :)

I love, love Preston! He is great at trying new styles and really takes his time in doing it right. He is always very friendly and makes you feel at ease. When getting a cut or a color he gives wonderful suggestions and the end result is always fabulous. I have really long hair and it is very important to me that I keep my length, but still get a stylish cut. Preston never fails me. I always get out of his chair feeling and looking beautiful.

I went to Kimberly according to the great reviews here. I came off the chair looking and feeling soo much more beautiful than when I had first walked in. She highlighted my hair according to what she believed would look good on me and achieved the color I was looking for. My highlights look very natural. She is a sweet and genuine person and proved to me that a color specialist really does exist, since I had previously had disastrous results with others. Highly recommened and would definitey go back and refer my girlfriends!! If you want constant compliments on your hair,Kimberly is the one!!

I went to Acme based on these raving reviews and had highlights and a hair cut. The highlights were good -- and the cut OK. The stylists are a bit older here -- and must be experienced based on their age. The whole salon environment is a bit crazy though -- very frentic. It actually made me a bit nervous. Not sure I'll return.

I was recently referred to Lindsey at Acme Head and Body near Union Square in SF. I have had two cuts and 1 color with Lindsey, and I could not be more thrilled. She did an excellent job, was very thorough and detail oriented, and affordable compared to a lot of the salons I've been to. I've already had two friends see Lindsey, and they feel the same way. I highly recommend Lindsey, and plan to continue to see her for cuts and color!

I moved to San Francisco From London a year ago and ever since had not been able to find a good hairstylist. I am very pick about my hair and expect no less than a perfect color and cut. After a few bad experiences a good friend of mine referred me to what she calls "the miracle Kimberly" I decided to give it a try and I have to say that I am hooked, Kimberly is amazing she brought my hair back to life with a total color correction and incredible Cut on top of that she is totally cool and made me feel very special, her space is very comfortable and cozzy. Kimberley is awesome. I can't even imagine having my hair touched by anybody but her. She has a sense of who I really am and nails my hair color and cut every single time. All my life I have left salons in tears becasue of what they did to my hair. Not with Kimberley. She is amazing. I get so many compliments on my hair. She is totally flexible with her hours and works around my busy schedule. With 2 kids, 2 jobs, commute, kids sports and an ADD husband, it is very rare that I can truely relax, but with Kimberely and this salon, I actually can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Love It....

I used to live just outside New York City. My hair stylist there was very good - he was so good that he had colored Uma Thurman's hair prior to a photo shoot for a magazine cover! So, when I moved to San Francisco - I thought I was going to struggle to find a great stylist. I got so very lucky to have found Kimberly. Kimberly used to work at another salon in SOMA, but has recently moved to Acme Head and Body. Holly has been cutting and highlighting my hair for the last four years, since the beginning of her career. I drive from Sacramento to San Francisco because I love her personality and my hair always turns out fabulous. Ever since she has started cutting my hair, it has been easier to syle and still looks great as it begins to grow out. I frequently get compliments from co-workers and complete strangers when I go out. Holly's highlighting techniques are awesome too - after consulting with me, she suggest a couple of colors that blend well together and give my hair the appearance I want want. You know how you always hear that hair never turns out the way the stylist did it? Well, Holly gave me some tips and techniques for styling my hair and it is still turning out great when I style it. Acme is kind of a blast from the past. The stations are antique vanities that have been refinished to great condition and the building has some character all its own, with huge windows that overlook busy San Fran streets. The staff is super friendly and offers to take care of you from the moment you step out of the elevator. Ask for Holly. She does great hair for a very reasonable price.

I originally contacted Ariane because I had micro ring extensions done at another salon that I wasn't happy with. She met me for a free consultation and explained what she could do differently to give me a better overall look and prevent the dreadlocking problems I was having. She took out my old extensions, and got rid of all the accumulated glue and dreadlocks while she was at it- in under two hours! We chose colors together for new extensions, and they turned out to be a perfect match. The hair she uses is the softest, silkiest human hair ever. It blends beautifully with my own, and stays brushable and sleek- which my last salon extensions didn't. Ariane was patient in working with me to decide on style, length, color, etc., and checked in with me throughout the process of putting therm in to make sure I liked the results. She was very quick- it took only three hours to put in my extensions- but she's as precise as she is fast. I will be returning to her for maintenance, and for new extensions when my current ones need to be changed out. If you're not happy with your natural hair, these extensions are a fabulous solution. I only wish I'd found her sooner!

I needed a cut & color the day before I was going to a convention. Carol was a godsend. I called Acme to check them out for the first time based on the reviews I'd read on Citysearch, as well as the stylists' descriptions from their own website...I was passed from stylist to stylist--who wouldn't prefer to party on a Friday night rather than work?!--but Carol willingly took my appointment. I've been coloring my own hair for over 10 yrs., so it takes a lot to make me spend my moolah on someone else's handywork. If I'd won the Mega Millions jackpot, I would've hired Carol as my personal colorist.

You should remember to ask for the 25% discount for first time customers. (My total was wallet-busting, but she willing worked on my hair from 6:30pm till almost 10pm so I wasn't going to quible about the price--and it was well worth it.) She gave me the price up front, so no surprises and add-ons. And considering the pricing structure of the other stylists, I think the totals would come out to about the same. I even loved the scent of the shampoo & conditioner she used on me enough to splurge on a couple of bottles, too.

A couple of the guys at my office even noticed the change in my hairstyle & color enough to comment, so you know that's got to mean something since guys can be pretty oblivious to all the transformations women go through. I love the way my color shimmers in the sun, like a fire opal. If you want a color that jumps out at people, Carol would enjoy getting you that dream style. And if you just want a color that shimmers, but doesn't shout, she can work her magic on you, too.

I've seen Preston twice so far. First for cut, second for color. Let's just say that he's amazing! First I went in because I had this head full of hair that I had no idea what to do with. I was brave and told him I was a blank slate and that he could do what ever he thought best. I placed my trust in great hands because he gave me an amazing cut that totally brightened up my face! Since he did such a great job the first time, I came in as a blank slate again - this time for color. I just needed a fun change which he delivered! Not only is he talented, but he's one of the sweetest people you'll meet! He has a great way of making you feel welcomed and at ease. The salon itself is fun too. Cozy with a refreshing, funky decor. Highly recommended!

I haven't been here in a while but I plan on going back. I've gotten braids done in the past by their new extensionist, Ariane, and would love to get the micro-ring extensions she does now... I had them done since she last braided my hair and think she would do a better job than what I got. Human hair extensions are expensive, but the way they make you look/feel like a diva for months on end makes it very worth it. Also I like Acme's product lines, and you kinda feel like you have to shop afterwards, since you're already in Union Square...

I have been getting my hair done by Dennis for about ten years. After I found him I have never trusted my hair to anyone else. Prior to Dennis I had many "bad haircut" experiences where I was left very upset. I now know that I can count on Dennis to cut, color and style my hair so that I get nothing but positive feedback. Most importantly, I feel good when he works his magic. I love to watch how he effortlessly handles the hairstyling equiptment without an ounce of awkwardness. One of the best things about Dennis is he is able to do such great work in such a short amount of time. He is more than a stylist, he is an artist. He is also funny and interesting.

I was shopping around for a new hair salon in San Francisco and decided to try out Preston at Acme Head & Body, who I heard about by reading the reviews on Citysearch. Well, the raving reviews were quite accurate, as I experienced nothing less than 4 star treatment and service from Preston. He greeted me with a warm and friendly presence and was very quick to make me feel comfortable (the glass of wine was an added touch!) He was a great listener and provided a very thorough consultation of my hair and what I was looking to achieve. I was not looking for a 'yes' person but someone who can offer their own expertise as well. He definitely did not shy away from his own vision and followed though with the final result looking fabulous.
I left a very happy client and even received a thank you card a few days later which is so very personal and professional. My shopping days are over for a new hair stylist because Preston has truly won me over!

I have lighter hair and have been considering going a little bit darker for the fall time, but was definitely unsure about my choice. Preston assured me that it would be wonderful and really bring out my blue eyes. We consulted on the color and he picked out a color that I was extremely excited about. The end result was terrific, I love my darker hair. He even offered to color my eyelashes to really bring out my eyes since my eyelashes are non-exsistant because they are so light. It work perfectly, I was so happy with my huge change.

I had a huge event I was attending and wanted to look smashing. My friend referred me to Preston at ACME. He really listened to what I wanted done to my hair and gave some great suggestions that I extremely loved. The color was beautiful and really complimented my cut and complexion. I adored the cut and to top it off he styled it amazingly and really instructed me on how I could get the look at home. To finish up the appointment he did my makeup - I was really scared to have someone else do it (I am pretty picky) but Preston made me look GORGEOUS! It was very natural and I didn't feel like I was wearing the whole makeup counter. I am definitely going back and having him continue to make me look and feel beautiful! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I can't say enough great things about this salon and especially about Preston. He is really, really amazing. I first went to Lindsay just 2 days after having had the worst color/highlight/cut of my life. I'm talking I didn't want to leave the house it was so bad. I was expecting her to tell me there wasn't much she could do...considering I'd just had the bad color done days earlier. Much to my delight and surprise Lindsay informed my that color corrections are one of her favorite things to do and she proceeded to cheerfully redo the entire mess and I left the place feeling 1000 times better with no damage to my hair. Since then I've been back several times and I can honestly say that I've never been happier with my hair. I have been in sf for years and have tried countless different salons and I can honestly say that Lindsay does that best color AND cut...rare to find that in one person. I have straight thick hair and for the first time I actually feel that my hair has some style and isn't just a big dull mop! Thanks so much Lindsay!!!!!

I've got tricky brown hair that would poof out like a Q-tip without the right cut and product. Being in town just for a summer assignment, I knew finding someone that could do a good job from the very first cut was unlikely. I took a chance on Preston after reading a positive Citysearch review, and I'm so glad I did. He listened to what I wanted and worked within the framework of my requests, but while also offering subtly different and better cut then I knew how to request. Highly recommended. Less important but still noteworthy, the salon is a nice space.

I recently read the reviews on Adrian here on City Search, and I decided to take a chance on my never ending bad luck with stylists. Adrian did a color correction on me and I haven't been the same since. I am actually getting compliments everywhere I go. This is a first! He transformed my dull hair into a shiny beautiful head of hair! For a color correction, I am

Men's hair is actually way harder to cut than women's hair - I've resigned myself to not ever being satisfied. It's puffy and boring or ugly or boxy. When I find someone like Lindsay who can cut it EXACTLY the way that I want it, it makes me believe in magic again. How does she do that? It's better than I can even imagine it! Now I just tell her to cut it however she wants, she's my style consultant.
Also she's super fun to talk to AND she's cute, which always helps.
ALSO buy the products she recommends - I spent five weeks shopping around trying to find a cheap-o version of the stuff she told me to buy, and I ended up spending a buttload of money AND buying the expensive stuff in the end anyway.

Last year Preston helped me turn my naturally blonde hair that I'd been dying dark brown for a nearly a year into a beautiful auburn hue that I loved loved loved. Now, he's working his magic again by taking my hair back to it's original light blonde state and I'm so happy! He's been there for me every step of the way and he's made sure my hair has remained healthy and beautiful during the few visit process. He's the best stylist I've ever had...he listens to my thoughts and takes them into consideration but also suggests things he thinks would work for me. And to top it all off his haircuts are amazing. I'd reccommend him to anyone and have! I have at least five friends who have gone to Preston and loved him also.

All of my experiences at Acme Head and Body have been fantastic. Every time I walk out of the salon, I feel like a million bucks. My stylist, Lindsay Davis, is one of those unique hairstylists that rocks at both haircutting and haircoloring. She really spent time styling my hair and giving it that "finished" look, which I really appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed the salon atmosphere and I have continued to be impressed by Lindsay's work.

I love Acme Head & Body! I always see Preston Nesbit; he is such an amazing stylist! I recently wanted my hair very short on the sides, as many men do, and I was totally expecting him to whip out the clippers. To my wonderful surprise Preston gave me a scissors over comb cut that got my sides just as short as clippers would, but with the added texture that only good hand cuts can give. It is this kind of extra class that makes this salon top notch! I love it!

I am very HAPPY about my new haircut! That says a lot about me, as it is unusual for me to post about it. I, like many of you have had a few haircuts throughout my Fabulous life. Some were uneventful and some good. Yet it's been rare that I've recieved a REMARKABLE cut / style and perfect color! That is, until now. I'm new here and needed to find a quality stylist in a short amount of time. I EVEN contemplated driving back home to my old hairdresser! Needless to say it was hard to admit that living in a new city It was of the upmost IMPORTANCE THAT I GET A GOOD CUT/COLOR. With much reluctance I found acme( right here in fact) and took a gamble. I must say that I am TRULY PLEASED with the work that LIndsay @ ACME did for me. I am ELATED that I no longer need to search for just another MEDIOCRE stylist in the city. I was treated well and found the prices reasonable. Will definitely return when necessary and look forward to another positive experience. Thank you Lindsay for a cut / color WELL DONE.

I was recommended to Lindsay by a friend, and although she is a bit more than the guy I've been going to for a few years, I'm committed. Thats saying alot for a guy who's been going to Supercuts until he was well into his mid-twenties...shes worth it. She's fast and fun, and we find ourselves laughing the entire time . Just the right touch of style without overdoing it. I've steered several of my friends her way, and they have become repeat customers as well. Anytime I get a compliment on my hair, no-joke, I give Lindsay's number. I'm not one to post comments, but after reading sanfranciscodiva's recent review I must say I have had the complete opposite experience. What confuses me about her review, is that Lindsay has a simple policy..if you're not happy...she'll fix it until your satisfied. Sanfranciscodiva, it must be noted, never expressed her dissatisfaction to Lindsay in person, just left a negative review here on citysearch. Its akin to giving a bad review at a four star restaurant without bothering to ask the chef to saycook your meat a bit more, or to bring it back with a bit more sauce...an implicit policy any chef would dutifully fulfill....hopefully the chef example isn't too much of a stretch, but you get the idea. Lucky for sanfranciscodiva, opinion's can't be wrong. I have never had a better haircut than the one's given to me by Lindsay. She's a bright, beautiful young woman, and a hell of a haircuttress, and now, a close friend...dont let her get you down Lindsay...I'll keep coming back!

I'm not normally the type to jump on my soapbox but when I read a bunch of bunk, I must protest. Lindsay has been cutting and coloring my hair for three years. I started seeing her when she was down in Southern California and I've followed her up to SF because I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. Since she began working at Acme, I have driven up to SF from Orange County three times! Not only does she do a fantastic job cutting and coloring my hair, I trusted her to do my hair for my wedding last February! She is the only stylist that has managed to tame my thick, wild hair into a cut that lays, looks, and moves amazingly. In fact, my husband was so impressed by her abilities, he left his $15-a-haircut barbershop and started using her too! So, in response to SF Diva's negative post, Lindsay is a fabulous find.
Ignore the bad day rant of a first timer and trust the words of a regular...
Nobody does a better cut, color, or updo than Lindsay!

This is a great salon with a fun, hip atmosphere. I've been there twice now, and I always go see Preston. I have very thick, hard to manage hair and he did a great job both times. Plus, he's very attentive and will make sure that you have an enjoyable experience. So if you're looking for a fabulous salon in this Union Square area, this is your place!

Lindsay has been doing my hair for years, and every time I leave the salon I feel like a supermodel. My highlights always look amazing, and she does a fantastic job cutting my hair. My favorite part is the massage at the shampoo bowl (Heaven). I also like how well she blowdries and finishes my hair. It always has that professional look to it, and I appreciate the time she puts into it. Check her out! She ROCKS!

Preston Nesbit and the staff at Acme continually provide excellent service at their salon. I'm growing my hair out and feel 100% comfortable with my hair stylist. I enjoy my experience at Acme.

Preston is the best!! So easy to work with, really gets what styles Im trying to explain to him. He is very professional and is a perfectionist, offers advice, and is a delight to be around. the salon is in a great location, hours are very accomodating. I couldnt be happier!

Preston Nesbit was my hair stylist and was soooo awesome. He was super nice, super friendly, and very talented. My hair never looked better, the cut and the style was more then I could have asked for. Plus, Preston dyed my eye lashes and now I don't have to worry about the tips of my lashes being lighter then the rest. I loved it and I for sure will be going back!
