The PC I purchased from AMEC is finally fixed, no thanks whatsoever to AMEC. The PC finally failed me on startup about 6 months ago.The new PC repair guy I use now correctly diagnosed it as the ASUS motherboard. AMEC actually said they replaced it once. I do not believe them since the start up problem never changed. AMEC also said they would not recommend replacing my ASUS/AMD board and CPU with ASUS and AMD again. They wanted to replace it with an Intel M/B and chip, and they wanted me to pay about $400 to do it, while my PC was still under their warranty. I didnt fall for that. It was obvious that AMEC simply did not want to honor their warranty. Since I could not trust AMEC at all, I waited for the PC to fail on startup again, which by then was out of AMEC's "warranty" and took it a reputable PC repair person. It cost me $366, my malfunctioning ASUS main board was replaced with a very nice one from MSI. I finally have a very nice working AMD gaming PC. But AMEC will never get a another dime from me or any of my PC buying friends. I guess saving about $400 by not honoring their warranty was worth all the business they lost. I know this because the company I work for used to buy from them. Now they never will. They get one star only because it won't let me do a zero star.
