Palomares Cafe

While a number of restaurants have been in this location over the years, the Palomares Cafe has probably lasted the longest. My husband and I have tried it a number of times and even though the food is good, we don't think it's worth their prices. Not a lot of atmosphere and the service was just OK. Maybe we got them on an off day because we have a number of friends who really like going there.

This is a great local restaurant with a variety of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food is always tasty and fresh. Restaurant has a full bar and serves lunch and dinner. My favorite dish is the Mediterranean Platter - officially listed as an appetizer, but excellent for lunch, with freshly-baked pita bread, and yummy hummus, baba ganoush, dolmas, tabouli, etc. Great for sharing.

The food can be good but also I've had mediocre. The service is a little slow if your in a hurry. Pleasant atmosphere and alot of local business people stop in a lunch time.
